Hi. Just to preface that I'm not a developer and lack quite a bit of knowledge on app development.
I'm looking at a way to enable reverse wireless charging on a Samsung S20 Ultra so I can use it in automation apps like Tasker. Currently, Bixby routines doesn't allow it.
I've tried apps that monitor and trigger Intents and Activities but that's not working either.
Is there a way to achieve this?
Even if I'm using the android studio to make a simple app that toggles the reverse wireless charging. I'm not sure what libraries to import as this isn't a standard stock Android feature.
Ideally, I'd like the app to work for all the phones that have reverse wireless charging like Samsung/ Xiaomi/ OnePlus.

Hello,
I am (finally) getting around to developing my first android app. It's nothing exciting, starting off as a catalogue and some other things.
I have set up the main activity with four tabs within the first tab I have three spinners. The first spinner is meant to let the user select a car manufacturer, the second spinner is meant to show models of that manufacturer and the third spinner shows editions. An example would be:
Manufacturer:
Vauxhall
Model:
Corsa
Edition:
2000+
I was wondering what the easiest way to dynamically change the contents would be? Right now I have one adapter created for each manufacturer with a setOnItemSelectedListener that changes the adapter based on which manufacturer was selected. I don't think this is the most efficient or tidy method though. Also, for a list of 60 odd manufacturers it's a pain to write.
Thanks guys! (and girls)

Hello,
Hope this is correct forum for this question...
In my company we are starting one project that will (among other) include e.g. 50+ android mobile devices on the field...
So I need to find windows 7 desktop software for managing all of this devices at one place...
To have statuses, check location, lock apps, wipe etc - all regular stuff when administrating device...
Is there such software??

Hello,
I would like to find out how to tunnel all my apps via my Proxy on Android, I tried Droni app from google play but it gives me a lot of packet loss.
is there any App I can use to run all the apps on my private proxy with Username and Password?
android 11
Nubia Red magic 6 Pro
wifi/data
edit: Non Routed Device.
If you are familiar with iptables here is a good app for android that lets you control all your network connections
AFWall+ (Android Firewall +) - Apps on Google Play
[ROOT] AFWall+ is a front-end application for the powerful iptables firewall.

Hey thanks for posting this one, but unfortunately my phone is not rooted yet. do you think that root is required to setup a proxy over Android? or should I just keep looking for a non Rooted Device App. for now I didn't found noting yet!

I've always and only used rooted devices and therefore I'm a very satisfied user of AFWall+ (Donate) for years and didn't try anything else. But if my device were not rooted I'd use NetGuard but I don't know if it supports your requirements.

NetGuard provides simple and advanced ways to block access to the internet - no root required. Applications and addresses can individually be allowed or denied access to your Wi-Fi and/or mobile connection. Blocking access to the internet can...

You just saved my life! NetGuard was awesome. proxy is working fine for now. no packet loss no lags or issues during the game. this is a perfect alternative.
Thanks so much!

No reason to thank me at all. All credits obviously go to @M66B Marcel is a great developer! It's always worth to get his pro features; even if you don't need them it would support a continuous, fantastic development. NetGuard isn't suitable for me because I need VPN for the connection to my Raspberry Pi in the home network via OpenVPN/PiVPN and Android only provides for one VPN connection.
But for years, I'm using Marcel's FairEmail; for me the very best and most privacy orientated email client. The other fantastic development by Marcel that I use is XPrivacyLua but you need to be rooted for it.
Hi,
My question is already in the title, but well to be super clear, comprehensive lists, updated regularly and free.
I used to work in IT way back, updating iptables with some of those lists, I would like to test in android with what is available nowadays.
I remember there were many websites that offered comprehensive lists based on different criteria, I am so rusty that I can't find nothing besides some lists hosted in github.
Of course I want to test in my androids.
Also if you have suggestions of some iptables kind of app for rooted devices (actually using VPN no root firewalls)

In the past I used pfsense (a GUI for iptables) and spamhouse blocklists but now it's not free, I found this looking for alternatives www raedts biz/security/recommended-blocklists-for-pfblocker-pfsense/ that are raw IP CIDR lists but looking in it I found a copyright 2003-2020 maybe are not really maintained, anyway these list are used to protect servers, would be good to find something more related to Android.
Hi all!
I'm looking for a Android TV Box that allows me to deploy a fleet of devices with remote control with some MDM software.
According to my tests I need a Android with Enterprise (or zero-touch) support if I want to management the device throught MDM, but tvbox don't usually support this mode or it doesn''t showing in their specifications.
Can you recommended a tv box with Android Enterprise feature? Or is possible to flash some tvbox with roms that include this function? Maybe are some manufactures who facilitate the signing of applications for getting a complete management without Enterprise mode...
The price of the device is not limiting but I need it to have one USB for webcam, wifi and ethernet, or two USB if it haven't ethernet for using a usb-to-ethernt adaptor.
Thanks for any suggestion. I'm really lost with androidtv devices.
