Hi everyone.
I want to build own firmware for Lenovo Tab3 7 tablet. Lenovo has published "code" to open source: support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/DS113148?LinkTrack=Solr
But I can't understand how I can build firmware. Should I copy sources to AOSP?
Maybe smb has tutorial or experience with other Lenovo firmware?

Have you found a way to build AOSP for lenovo tab 3 7 ?
I find a download [support.lenovo.com + /us/en/ + products/tablets/ + a-series/tab3-7-essential/ + downloads/ds112378] which contains device specific files too [lenovo_tab3_7_essential_201603\Andylite-3G-OSC\device\mediatek] , but still have now idea how to build

first i did upgrade android 5 to 6 and 6 was very slow then i flashed to lineage-14.1 (android 7)
7 is smooth but after install gapps i have only 33mb free ram on 7 !!! and i can't open any program
now i need to restore to android 5 because i think android 5 is best for honor 5x
i extracted and put dload folder from
"Honor 5X_Firmware_KIW-L21_Android 5.1_EMUI 3.1_C432B140_West European_Channel-Others.zip"
in sd card but phone can't update this rom
im very new about install roms, can you guide step by step how can back to the android 5?

If you want to go to lollipop from marshmellow..you need a downgrade package for that...

I used to run android 7.0 and rooted with CF ROOT, after a stupid mistake OF OEM UNLOCK I got the RFP lock & i didnt know how to fix it without loosing data , So I flashed it but to Android 8.0 OREO , and I did an update from Samsung official to the latest version of security patch
Nevertheless, I want to root my phone ! but I'm confused as I mentioned in the title which file I should download from firmware.mobi ?

one last question! how to unlock phone with home button ? I couldnt find it in android 8.0 and no setting --> display --> navigation bar does not exist in S7 !
I'm having bottloop problems with Redmi Note 4 (mido). at first I used stock ROM MIUI 10 version 8.12 then I tried to flash via twrp using Omega ROM series MIUI 10 display MIUI 11pro android 9 (Pie) .. it turns out ROM has been equipped with Root access, and some applications cannot be opened because there is a default root access ROM. when I want to return to the stable MIUI 11 stock ROM android 7 .. I experienced bootloop .. and the device failed to enter the android system .. does any of the developers know the solution for bootloop? or anyone can provide a solution to delete the default root of the Omega ROM series.
You can try flash from TWRP this script UPDATE-unSU-signed.zip . Search in XDA . I can' t link ( junior member ). It will help you unroot your device.
reflash stock fastboot rom with mi flash tool.
Any way to fix this since i have noticed that some of the apps still detects root even after being unrooted when the every option on the above image is not green (i am currently on lineage os (unrroted) official and this problem doesn't exist on pixel experience)
