Alcatel Pixi 4 5.0 power on when USB cable plugged in - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I have one old phone Alcatel Pixi 4 5.0 5045A (roooted) and Resurrection Remix is installed. I want to use this phone to show some info from my PC.
I have mount phone and i have use Macrodroid to control screen when i power on or off my PC. But i want more, i need to power off and power on phone when USB in phone detect power from my PC or when is USB plugged in.
I can setup power off with MacroDroid but i can't find any solution to power on phone when USB cable plugged in. SO this should be work in simple way, phone is off, USB cable plugged in and phone instead of charging should automatically power on.
I can't access fastboot options on this phone not sure why, is locked or something else is problem. I have install TWRP and than i flashed supersu to root device, after than i have custom rom installed.
Anyone have idea how to make it to automatically Power on when USB Charger is plugged in? I have found some tutorials for samsung phone but noting for tihs one.

Ok i found solution, edit init.rc and added lines
Code:
setprop ro.bootmode "normal"
setprop sys.powerctl "reboot"
After
Code:
on charger
class_start charger

Mygica help me unbrick bricked atv1200

I tried to make the internal memory swap adb method found on the forum, but the command adb devices stuck. I tried to restart and nothing, I removed the power cord and still not finished, I removed the USB cable and so died. I put the power cord back but never lit, illuminates only when connecting the USB cable, I managed to get into recovery mode, I managed to install firmware restarted and the screen remained black. the idea is that it is powered only by the USB port, which led me to do? has anyone happened to that? Thank you!

[Q] galaxy s4 slow to start charging and will not connect to computer

I have searched all the threads I can find and can't find an answer so please forgive me if this is a common problem.
To make a long story short I had to replace my LCD and then the digitizer stopped working. I did a factory reset which solved the problem but then when I tried to install my backup I messed everything up and nothing was working. I could no longer connect any computer to my phone using several different USB cables. All my google services were not working along with my proximity sensor and light sensor.
I was able to get a fenny rooted stock rom to install using Mobile Odin Pro and I seem to have most of everything working again except the USB port.
I was unable to connect to a computer or charge. After trying everything I could find online including factory resets, *#0808# settings, USB debugging mode, I broke down and ordered a new USB port which I installed into my phone and I am having the same problem with the new port installed.
When I plug my phone into the charger it does nothing however if I turn the screen off and wait about 3 to 5 minutes the LCD will light up and indicate that it is charging and then the phone takes a charge. If I use the phone while it is plugged in it will never indicate that it is charging, I have to power the screen off for several minutes. I have tried a second known good battery and I have the same issue. I have tried two separate factory chargers which both work fine on my wife's S4 and neither work properly with my phone.
When I plug it into my computer I do not get the normal message to select MTP or camera. using the settings recommended on *#0808# of USB of AP and USB Settings of MTP + ADB.
If I use *#0808# and select CP under the USB tab and then plug the phone into my computer I hear my computer instantly make the sound it usually makes when you plug a usb device in but nothing else happens. This same computer works fine with my wife's other Galaxy S4 and I have tried this on three separate computers with the same result so I don't think it is a computer or usb cable issue.
Is there a way that I somehow deleted drivers or a file on my phone that controls the USB port? I am unable to attach screenshots on this post for some reason so below is what my about phone screen shows. Is it possible I have the wrong kernel or radio installed that could be causing this issue?

I would really appreciate any help someone can give me. Thank you in advance. If anyone is local to Rhode Island and willing to help me out in person I would be willing to pay you for your time, I just want to get this to work as I use my phone for work and need to be able to transfer files to my computer.
Last night I changed the SD card and when I did I plugged it into my computer and it started to charge. After about 10 minutes the computer beeped and I was now able to access my files on both my phone and SD card but it was not showing as connected using Kies.
It worked off and on today but now when I plug it in device manager shows qualcomm CDMA technologies MSN with a yellow explanation point saying driver not installed. When I plug my wife's s4 into this computer it works fine. Is it possible my s4 is somehow showing up to my computer as a galaxy note? That is the phone that I find in Google when I search that qualcomm driver.

After trying to root kitkat, microUSB port is not working

Hi, I have the Chinese smartphone Uhappy UP920, android kitkat.
I tried to root my phone with kingoroot and all other root software before one week, without success, kingo always said "connection with servers failed, try again", I tried it two days from different libraries & I tried some software for upgrade, just to see if it is possible to upgrade to the android 5 & 6, the upgrade was refused because developer didn't make such possibility.
I don't remember from all this software if I used any software for flashing device, but here is the problem:
in one moment after trying all these software, I saw that phone battery dropped from 10% to 1% and the USB cable didn't work any more, I tried OTG cable also but the phone didn't recognize my USB device, when battery was gone/spent, I tried to use USB cable to charge the phone with my computer, but no success. I don't have ac adapter (charger), I think it would not work in any case because OTG cable is not working, not only USB cable.
battery is gone, I can't charge it with USB cable, I tried to make restart with "down volume button" and "home button", but it didn't work.
when I press Power On button, display become something like blue for a second and it is dark again. I can't start the phone.
my theory is that some software destroyed possibility for android kitkat to recognize smartphone microUSB port (for USB cable, you can see that port on the photo: https://img.fasttechcdn.com/231/2314500/2314500-9.jpg). So, maybe it is software problem, maybe hardware problem...
anyone had similar problem? anyone has a solution?
p.s. before battery was gone, USB debugging option was checked, that's requirement when I tried to root the phone, in theory I could try ADB to do something with the phone, but I don't know how to use ADB, I tried to list devices but I got everything black in the terminal, I didn't get listed my device. if you recommend ADB, please tell me what commands to use.

[Q] Broken screen in HTC Flyer.

Hi,
My girlfriends tablet HTC Flyer has craked screen, and touchscreen is not working. Tried to plug in the OTG solution, but its not working at all.
Whenever I plug the usb to PC, it shows that device is not recognized. I have already installed ADB, but command ADB Devices does not give any results. So i can't go any further that way. But maybe there is other solution that you know? Tried lot of things already, and I'm slowly running out of ideas what to do. Whenever I plug the usb when in recovery mode (Power and volume down) there is text saying HBOOT USB PLUG, after couple minutes it changes to normal HBOOT.

Question Screen Dead, Phone won't respond to (almost) anything

Hello there,
Recently my Phone Screen died. I tried restarting it. Now i can only do 3 things.
1. Let it ring with smartthings
2. Use the Emergency call where it beeps
3. Restart the Phone with the Button combination
I am currently trying to get into recovery mode so I can backup my Data.
I have the most recent drivers installed. The Cable I use works with 3 different Phones.
I also tried a USB C to HDMI but had no luck. USB debugging is disabled.
ADB can enable USB debugging as far as i know.
Is there any aproach that i could try ?
a wireless mouse to enable adb and make the back up
Sorry, I should have specified that the screen is black.
What do you want to back up?
