Zepp OS is now more then 6 months available and i was wondering if there was someone who checked it out for any accessibility into it.
Can it be hacked? Is there a bootloader? Can we do fun stuff with it?
I have the T-Rex 2 and i noticed something funny. Let me show you a picture of it

The golden plate which has AMAZFIT on it can be unscrewed by the two screws on top of it. And i saw something behind it which looks like a port for something. So i was wondering, could this be a insert for a datacable so we can do some nice stuff with it?
Anyone has an idea? Oh, for the record, i didn't unscrew mine but i could see a black square with 4 or 6 holes. It has no function at all, but to be honest, the watch is waterproof so i don't have my hopes on it. But who knows. Anyone?
Ok, i guess nobody has looked into it haha. Time to get a screwdriver then and see what i can do.
There must be a way how they get Zepp OS on the watch.
Hi, T-Rex 2 watches has Zepp OS from factory.
https://docs.zepp.com/docs/reference/related-resources/device-list/
I have one myself, and am just as curious.
The holes behind the "AMAZFIT" plate have 2 functions.
Behind it are the buzzer and the pressure sensor.
Just try it : Put the Watch on the Barrometer App and blow on it, you will see the pressure rise.

Anybody get one of those stickers on their phone? I came across skinit and thought "hey why not..." Looks pretty cool
Some show what it will actually look like on the Titan while others just show the basic image of what would go on it. I'm guessing those stickers would stick fine on a screen protector, then the back gets me iffy since stickers don't tend to stay folded... Then again I'm going to have a case on it anyways

I am looking for stickers but not this pricey and also all I want is a huge sticker that shouts out "Windows Phone" - think we need brand awareness and I want to do my bit
This is what I ordered off that website
Anyone use these cases? What you think? I just ordered the silver.

I don't have one but have looked at it many times on ebay.
Makes me wonder if the back panel is gonna pop off if you drop the device and then the phone goes flying and the glass cracks in to thousand pieces?? ...the back panel is being put in place by some kind of snap on feature. I would Like to see screw assembly instead.

I have one that says Yoo Don on the packaging but it looks the same. I put it on and took it right back off because it is impossible to open charging flap with fingernail, might be able to with a knife tip or something. The back does indeed snap into place and seems pretty secure but wouldn't expect it to add any protection if phone was dropped.
Thanks for the feedback guys. I will let you know what I think when mine comes in a couple of weeks.

I sent you a PM.
Does anyone have a problem with squeaking cover ? It makes sounds when I press the power button (and around it) and it also happens when I press the cover in indicated area (on the opposite side). Like the cover is loose in this general area or something. I've checked with my firends "note 2" but he doesn't have this problem.
Can I somehow repair it ?

try to buy another backcover oO
This seems to be a common problem, but mine was at the lower part of the device, on both sides.
I added some painters tape inside where the back cover snaps to the phone and now it is fine. No more squeaking which was very annoying.
No problems but with the case you will not have these problems. I find some backcover on aliexpress for just 3€.
Sent from my Redmi Note 2 using Tapatalk
Mine squeaks like its two years old and has been stamped on by a small child. It's annoying. A very thin smear of blu tack on the sides works well.
Did anyone solve this issues by using an alternative back cover? I was wondering if this was caused by a problem in the cover or the device itself. . .
Hi!
My girlfriend bought a Honor 9 last Friday. So far it's an awesome phone and she likes it very much.
However, today we noticed that the paint on the home button is peeling / wearing off.
Is this common or should we return it?
Here's a picture of it:

Sorry for the potato quality, it was taken with her old phone.
Thanks in advance.

I guess you should return it. Less than a week, this should not happen.
Unless that is the clear film that originally came on your device when you unboxed it. I would send it back for a replacement unit.
Like so many folk, the band on my Moto360 Sport tore. Pain in the ass. I got it fixed/replaced once, but of course, it tore again. No such luck the second time around. But I love my watch. Its not perfect, but I love it. So with traditional fixes out the window, I moved to non-traditional fixes. I believe that the pics below illustrate an elegant solution:

interesting. My strap just broke out of warranty. I was looking for a silicone glue but even for a tiny amount it would cost 20$ for something thats a 50/50 fix.
I cant beleive Moto designed something like this, its the first thing I said when I recieved it as a gift "what happens when the strap breaks?"
Im going though different repair mods in my head. Im debating if I can cut out a space in the the rubber the size and shape of a regular pinned ban and then use either a pin or long thin screw to hold it in.
nice job but where did you get that little metal piece an does it ding into your arm?
