[Q] Installing another super user app? [SOLVED]

Hi guys! A friend brought me a S4 clon (4.2.2, MTK6589 based) few days ago, to root it. I've used VRoot and all went fine (root works good, even we've deleted some junk apps), but the app to manage the root permissions is a chinese one (check the attachment, please). Anyone knows if it's possible to install another app (like superSU or super user)? :silly:
At this point, I've tried this:
Delete the chinese app, and install superSU or super user. Result: Unable to update the binaries, so no root anymore.
Install superSU, update the binaries and delete the chinese app. Result: the binaries are installed without errors before delete the chinese app, but after that every time I open superSU it says that the binaries aren't installed (and it's unable to install them again).
Install super user, update the binaries and try to delete the chinese app. Result: unable to update the binaries, in some point always throw an error (sometimes trying to copy the binary to its place, sometimes trying to check if it's working...).
Any ideas?
A little bump...
After some try-error tests, I've found a way to do it, if anyone are interested:
Install superSU
Open it, and update the binaries.
Use any root explorer, and delete the old root manager (could be located at /system/app or /data/app)
Reboot
Done

No apps listed in Supersu after installing CW 12.1

None of my apps have root access and I've installed several SU programs. I can't enable Write access in file explorer ES b/c that requires root access and when I open superSU it says it needs to be updated but neither selecting normal install neither install with CWRP updates SuperSU. What did I do wrong with the rooting process? Anyone else had this problem.
From what I have read CM no longer comes rooted it needs to be rooted with a separate process. I do not know why?
You need to give root access to apps and adb--no need for SU any more. The setting is under "Developer Options".
thanks

Is it possible to unroot Android 5.1.1 Lollipop

Hello,
I have a little problem with my tablet.
Model: p4wifi
I need a 5.x android version to use a specific application (not working on 4.x)
I have installed the [ROM][Unofficial][AOSP] Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, which is running well on the tablet.
Unfortunately, this appliacation doesn't run when root is detected.
Then i've installed super su, and try to use the "remove permanently root", but even if in root checker i have the information than the tablet is not root, the application is not running, with the same sentence "root detected"...
I have also tried to delete su binary in /system/xbin and deleting the supersu.apk, but root is always detected by the application (even after factory reset).
Do i made something wrong ? Is it because the rom is pre-rooted / rooted ? In this case, is it possible to remove the root of the rom ?
Thanks for your help.

Help Us Pls ??

Tried everything to root sparrow. TWRP 3.0 loaded fine, supersu shows up--but...

Tried everything to root sparrow. TWRP 3.0 loaded fine, supersu shows up but it just doesn't grant root privileges. The Supersu icon shows up under apps but it crashes if clicked on "unfortunately Supersu has stopped working" or if anything requests privileges (root checker, kernel adiuter, etc). I've tried every different variant of Supersu, including 2.79-wear. I've tried both Busybox-1.26.2-YDS-ARM and stericson. I've tried it on both marshmallow and wear 2.0 nouget--without success. I'm not a complete noob and have rooted all my android phones including my current LG V20. Help a brother out i'm frustrated and determined to get this working.
Resolved. Had to mount system partition.

Rooting multiple users in Android 10

Hi, I recently rooted my OnePlus 6T running on Android 10 and there are some root apps I want to run on a second user on this phone, but the root checker apps say that I'm not rooted on this (second) user, even though I am rooted on admin user of this phone (root checker confirms it).
I tried installing the magisk manager in the second user, didn't work.
Then I flashed the magisk.zip again from twrp, didn't work.
Is there any way to grant root permission to this second user?
Any help would be appericiated.
Cheers.
