Hi everyone, I would like to root my redmi note 10 via fastboot but I have this error (see image), please help me thank you. (boot.img = TWRP)

I am very grateful for your help thank you very much, yes I tried it without success I installed the latest drivers, I changed the usb cable, I even changed pc still the same error, I don't understand, thanks again.
the phone of the picture is not a Redmi Note 10... it's a Redmi 10
are you using images from the Redmi Note 10?? maybe that's the issue

indeed that was the problem my phone is well redmi 10, finally I rooted my phone but without installing twrp always the same error too many links I patched boot.img with magisk and I installed magisk, thank you very much.

Which rom have you? There are lot's of cm12.1 roms for redmi note 2

Do you recommend me another version 12.1 cm? Which one is the best or work well?
Well, when I enter themes and installed by the play store any theme, 15 seconds after uninstalls itself and It gets the following message "failed to install the theme"

Hello everyone, I'm new and this is my post (tho it's not new for me to mod my phone, have been doing it since Gnexus time and loved that phone until it died.)
Coming to the topic of the post, I've been trying to install the LineageOS to my redmi note 4x, but when I try to do that the TWRP locks me out with error 7 and doesn't let me go forward. Any suggestions? I've heard that the 4 SD and 4x are basically the same but with different LTE bands, so I have no clue on what is wrong.
i had the same error code when installing a rom on my apollo lite.
Please try the following:
start phone in recovery mode (twrp), go to Mount and uncheck "system"
optional: do a factory reset and
install the rom

Thank you for the reply. System in "Mount" was already unchecked, thought the factory reset before flashing the rom apparently did the trick, as I'm seeing the boot animation of LineageOS right now. I'll post furthemore if I need anymore help.

Yeah sure, I've got the lineage os since my last post here and it's been working fine. Network is a little bumpy but it's still unofficial so I'll take it.

So basically you can flash ROMs for Redmi Note 4 (Snapdragon) to any Redmi Note 4X (are the same devices?) ?

Yeah, basically the 4x is a redmi note 4 SD but with more bands unlocked. In fact, the global miui for the redmi note 4 SD goes without a hitch on the 4x

With unlocked bootloader user can boot in TWRP(not required flash) and:
Flash zip file to enable camera 2 or pull build.prop to computer, edit and push to Phone.

Well this what u write is still root access. If u have ability to modify/edit system files in android it means ROOT.

I'm trying to install pixel experience or RR rom in my redmi note 4 but it always failed with "ERROR CODE 7".
I was using it from long but from last 2 month when I move to epic miui rom from pixel exp rom, now if I'm trying to install again any of pixel or RR rom, it always shows "ERROR CODE 7".
I tried it with clear caches/dalvik/data even system but all goes in vain. I also tried mathod of removing asserts, but not works too. :crying:

I have the exact same problem with redmi note 7. I´m trying to install the crDroid Android Rom. Since I wiped the firmware I keep getting this
error 7 . I edited the updater-script, repacked the zi p but still out of luck. Could you help me out. Thank you. Merci.

Wow, it has been a long time isn't it, I totally forgot, my apologies.
The Error code 7 of TWRP isn't a big, but a feature! It prevents anyone wanting to flash a ROM that isn't compatible with the phone. You can learn more here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2522762
I found this OnePlus 7 Pro Rom which boots on Mi9 but has some issues. All credits to the creator. Maybe someone can help fixing the issues

Forgot to say the ROM is OOS7P_958_V2
How to flash
1. Use new Eu Rom fw+vendor, like 10.7.19
2. Wipe all except internal storage
3. Flash extracted OOS7P image to system
4. Flash Permissiver_v4.zip
What it doesn't work (this what i found)
1. AOD
2. Sounds through speaker are muffled.
3. Finger Print
4. Face unlock
Flashing this ROM at your own responsibility.

Yes, its from Note 7 Pro. I have tried multiple vendors but same issues as in OP persist. The performance of the Rom is amazing.
Maybe someone can produce a patch to resolve those issues. I have also tried global mi 9 vendor files but it boot loops.

I have stopped all rom flashing and settled in eu rom. No more flashing. Will try if Masik Rom available for Mi9
