my lock screen on my LG V60 no longer shows notifications or music controls since the last update. Model LMV600-TM Software V600TM30d, Android 12. Any ideas? I've checked all the settings, toggled off then on, rebooted and still not working. Any ideas?

I just changed from an earlier debloated version of the stock verizon ROM to power washed w/ the stock updated ED05 kernel. Since then I noticed that attempts to disable the keyguard (puzzle lock screen) are ignored. I had both a tasker task to turn on the screen and unlock automatically when plugged in, as well as a switchpro widget that turns off the keyguard, and neither of them are functional anymore.
Any help?
Thanks.

Update: Also, the quick reply functionality of chomp no longer works. It seems nothing can unlock my screen now?
Hi All
I am running CyanogenMod version - 12.1-20160529-NIGHTLY-klimwifi
Kernel version 3.4.105g766de8b
I have as you can tell by my heading an issue, my tablet after using the plex app decided to power off and would not restart until I tried turning it on in recovery mode. When it did turn on the lock screen did not display the usual text (swipe to unlock) and the notification drawer would not display or pull down.
I tried cycling it on and off a few times and alternating between turning it on in recovery or download mode but no response, eventually allowed me to access the notification drawer and by creating a new profile I could access everything again. I deleted this profile just to make sure and tried it again and discovered the if I hit the volume buttons a few times everything works fine the tablet though has become slower in its response.
Has anyone else come across this issue.
I have the al10 version non rooted with the latest non beta updates. The problem I have is that the screen does not timeout. Currently it's set to 30 second and changing it does not fix it. If I restart the device the timeout function starts working again but maybe after a day of use, the issue reoccurs.
Even if it's on the lock screen, it does not timeout. Now I could manually turn the screen off, but if I receive a message and it turns it on (lockscreen) it'll stay on which drains my battery.
I have already booted into recovery and wiped cache. Any other ideas besides having to constantly restart my phone?
Guys, I have an issue where after the screen is locked, the currently playing music keeps playing but the next song does not start. I can check that the device was in light doze and after turning on the screen, the songs resume. Even have disabled all power saving settings, disabled optimization for all apps, enabled Enhanced processing and even selected the option of "Keep Open" in the recent app options menu(press and hold on the app icon), still the next song does not start. Have also disabled data saver, enabled background activity and data use while data saver off, still does not help. Only when i enable the Always on Display then the songs keep playing. I have even factory reset the phone, done the reset all settings multiple time but to no avail. This is for all music apps. Also, the AOD has to be the always on one and not the tap to view for 10 seconds one. Just don't want the Always on Display and want the music to keep playing. What am I missing ?
Device is Samsung Note 10 + running on Android 11.
I've been documenting my struggles with my lock screen in another thread. But I just had a major breakthrough and didn't want this to get buried.
To recap, my lockscreen has been a buggy mess from day one. The fingerprint sensor barely works, the fingerprint icon randomly disappears, and the gray border that's supposed to appear around the fingerprint icon simply doesn't show up. The lockscreen doesn't light up when I pick up the phone either (it stays dimmed). Also, wallpapers don't show up on the lock screen, and the big ugly clock sometimes disappears or moves itself to the top-left.
I've tried just about everything to fix this. As a last-ditch effort, I added a new user profile only to find that the lockscreen works perfectly well for this new profile (but still not for my main one).
Here's my main profile with the unusable lockscreen:

So there's clearly some obscure bug that most people aren't experiencing here. I'd love to just figure it out so I can move on.
When I didn't have the "always on display" turned on, the phone was very consistant about turning on properly when I picked it up. I ran it this way for 3-4 days without any issues.
After reading some articles on the P6, I realized that it has an AOD and that it was turned off. So I turned the AOD on while leaving all the other settings set the same. At first, the finger print icon wouldn't appear consistantly, but that is because I had adjusted the animation scale settings in the Developer settings. Changing that back to stock fixed the issue with the finger print icon not showing up.
That beings said, I have experienced the same "unresponsive" screen many times over the last couple of days that I have had the AOD turned on. The screen stays dimmed (or even turned off if I pull the phone out of my pocket) and the finger print reader is inactive (even though the icon is displayed). The screen is suppose to turn on when I lift the phone up, but it doesn't always do it. When this happens, I have to either manually turn the screen on using the power button, or double tap the screen to wake it. This is clearly a bug in the system somewhere. I probably need to report it to Google, but hopefully it is fixed soon.
After spending way too long on this, I've determined that the bug occurs consistently with these specific settings (although it may also occur for similar ones):
Lock after screen timeout: 30 minutes (or anything high enough to prevent it from locking between tests)
Power button instantly locks: disabled
Lift to check phone: disabled
Tap to check phone: disabled
Always show time and info: enabled
Replication steps:
1) Enter the above settings
2) Press the Power button to go to the lockscreen
3) Set your phone down for a couple seconds
4) Pick your phone back up and try to use the fingerprint sensor
Result: The fingerprint sensor won't work the first time.
I think all the other issues I had were actually stemming from this one issue.
