Question System UI colors - Sony Xperia 1 IV

Hello, is it possible to change the colours within the UI, the light blue colour, (see attached image) on QS panel & Brightness slider etc?
Its a terrible colour & I what to change it to suit my theme.
Thanks

no. At least not without root. Let's hope that material you will be included in some future xperia updates,

Repainter works.

but needs root.....

Of course it needs root. Anything fun you can do with Android needs root.
I uninstalled it though, the free tier colour combinations are hideous and if you want vibrant colours you have to pay a subscription fee. No thanks.

Advanced Power Menu+ (APM+)

Development and support for this module has been discontinued!
This app requires Android 4.0+. Also, you must have root and Xposed module installed in order to use this app.
Advanced Power Menu+ is an Xposed Module which allows you to customize various aspects of your power menu. It works on a myriad of devices, including AOSP, Xperia, and TouchWiz ROMs.
Features
Customize menu items
Freely add, remove and reorder power menu items
Custom advanced reboot option - A dedicate first-level option for rebooting device, soft rebooting device, rebooting into recovery and bootloader
Screenshot function
Quick dial - call a predefined number directly from the power menu
Toggle mobile data and/or Wi-Fi from your power menu
Turn on flashlight (Torch) from your power menu
Anti-theft Helper
Note: Actual effect of anti-theft is NOT guaranteed.
Stop anyone from turning off your phone, enabling airplane mode, etc. when the device is locked by hiding any power menu items when the device is locked. In this way no one can stop device trackers like Android Device Manager from locating your phone by turning off the phone, disabling mobile data and so on(removable battery not taken into account)
Show a warning to deter thieves.
Fake Power Off - When you have this option enabled, trick your thieves by "apparently" turn off the phone, but the phone leaves running so you can still track the device (various options and strategies available for fine tuning the effect. Result may vary on different devices)
Password protection - Lock power menu items and/or the app itself with a password. Apart from thieves, it is also ideal when your phone is on display.
Theme
4 different set of icons to match the theme of your ROM. More coming soon.
Modify stock icons too!
High quality mdpi-xxhdpi icons
Screenshots
Refer to Google Play/Xposed Installer for more screenshots
Requirements
Xposed framework: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/xposed-installer-versions-changelog-t2714053
Root option (optional for some more "authentic" implementations of fake power off)
Compatibility
This module is targeted towards AOSP ROMs. Also tested for Xperia ROMs. Other manufacturer-specific custom ROMs should work well too, but compatibility varies from device for device. A nandroid backup is recommended before installing this module.

You want me to install and use an Xposed module (that can literally do anything), but you're forbidding me from checking it actually does what it's supposed to do (and not hooking into other apps to do who knows what).
If you don't want to open source your module, please do reconsider your EULA (though I doubt that's actually legally binding anywhere, unless you get your users to sign a written copy before installing your module).

Not allowing one to decompile the module is not my original intention. This is just a result of some templates. I'll delete this clause anyway.
And you can look for the legality of EULA on Wikipedia.
Hi, I see that you has removed the "do not buy donation package" since this update, does it means I can buy the package right now or should I still wait until the final version? What functions had added to the pro key?

Yes you can buy the items now.
I've tested the in-app billing according to Google's provided testing method (test purchases and static response)http://developer.android.com/google/play/billing/billing_testing.html. I've also done a real purchase using another Google account owned by me (that Test So in alpha testing group). The "do not buy donation package" is removed after completing the above tests.
Recently a few users have also bought the pro key (real purchases). And they have not reported back any problems. So I think you can buy the package right now.
If the buy button doesn't turn into "bought" then the transaction maybe problematic and you can ask for a refund. (EDIT: you may need to wait a while every time you open the dialog as it needs time to load the purchase status from Google Play)
And currently I haven't added any pro features! However I've already planned to add a few pro features in the future. So stay tuned.

Yes I set it in hkd
Each "token" costs HK$7.00 (it's the minimum price for HKD)
Google Play allows the developer to set separate prices for each currency, but I currently don't see the need to do so

Okay as it is cheaper to pay in HKD as 1 USD should equal to about 7.7HKD... [emoji23]
Three more feature request please...
1. Allow people to change the color of the icons and text(i heard that you're going to do that)
2. Allow people to replace logo with their own
3. Allow people to change the strings fully inside the app. For example replace "power off" with whatever you like. It would be very cool!
EDIT...
One more feature please...
4. Allow people to customize the color of the dialog boxes.
If those features are implemented, I can be very sure that this mod would be really cool and become a reason for people to root their phone!!

Today is the first anniversary of Advanced Power Menu!
Originally called Advanced Reboot Menu, the module individually was a very small module which only adds reboot option to the power menu. After that, the module gained increasing interest, and there was more feature requests. With your support, APM grows into a powerful xposed mod, and then a revamped and even more powerful APM+.
Without your input, APM would not have been so successful. So thank you all very much for your support and effort. Although I'll be quite busy, I'll certainly improve APM+ and make it even better.
Feel free to share your opinions of APM/APM+ here. If you like the module, you can show your gratitude by pressing thanks, or even consider a donation.
Once again, thank you all.

Yes you're right. I'm planning to do 1 and 3. But I'm a little bit sorry to tell you that 1 and 3 is intended to be pro features (for 1, it's a pro feature to pick a color you like from a hex color picker. It's completely free of charge to change the color of the icons to one of the predefined themes)
And as for 2, I wish to do it, but it seems to be a little bit more difficult to implement. I need to do some research first.
APM was one of my favourite modules when I was using stock Sony ROM. And now APM+ doing it's magic on a custom ROM (no other module managed to disable power menu on lock screen)
Thanks a lot. Great work!!

Must be rooted! Installs like a normal apk.
Very cool app and great for single hand use since it can launch pretty much anything and has all the actions you need.
Post some pics!
My color code for my pie.
#9c003340,#00000000,,,#d5008091,,
Almost matches the stock tw theme.
I am using this app on my old N7 2k13 back since KitKat forced that dumb separate navbar on us. Well, on the Tab S I disabled the capacitive buttons (hit them by accident all the time) and use LMT again in combination with the Home button.
Yeah, I'm always holding my tab with one hand watching videos or browsing so this is a must have for me! Pie was the only reason I ran Paranoid on some of my devises before LMT
Hi really like your color but prefer my pie opaque, what would I need to change in your code?

Once you paste the color code, all you need to do is move then 'alpha' bar all the way to the right on the normal and gradient colors. You don't need to do anything with the color code, it'll adjust it for you while saving the color!

[MOD][Xposed][8.1] ForceDarkModeOreo

Force Dark Mode for Android Oreo (8.1)
Google introduced Android's new WallpaperColors API for Android 8.1 in December 2017.
This module is for bypassing the API by returning always black color values to force system wide dark mode and to save your eyes of the light theme UI. Dark theme is automatically enabled when using dark wallpapers, but the problem is usually live wallpapers which must implement the API as they are dedicated applications and in control of the wallpaper rendering, otherwise system defaults to using light theme.
The module is really simple at first (version 1.0) as there's no options or user interface, but I accept feedback and help for future development when it's needed and/or wanted.
Requirements
Android 8.1 (API 27) or newer
Xposed Framework version 90 or newer
Usage
Download and enable module
Reboot.
Embrace the darkness.

This module enables global dark mode by fakeing wallpaper color. Every app that observes WallpaperColor API for theming (like System UI) are effected.
Settings app doesn't implement color theming, so it stays white.
I guess this won't work on Oreo 8.0, will it?
If so, do you have any other idea how to get rid of the sunglasses if using my phone in a dark room? Think it's kind of annoying that they switched from dark grey to nearly white
Is it possible to implement the exact opposite? (Option to force light mode when a dark wallpaper is on)?

No, dark theme was implemented on Android 8.1 by original Android developers. I'm not responsible for the actual theme and this module is for force enabling it.
Read the first post.
Edit: You could check if Android Oify has this feature.

Hi'yall
First of all thanks for the mod it would be great.
It truly enables the dark mode even on the app drawer. Which is being missed by the next dark theme forcer app. But this makes fb messenger, the full version (orca) crash as soon as i try to open a chat thread. Remove the mod and it is fine... Not enough to disable it...
Have u guys felt this or is it only for me?
Btw i am on:
Xiaomi redmi note 4 mido
Los 15 straight from lineage.
Magisk latest
Xposed sdk 27
I install it and enable it in xposed but my n960f seems nothing happened.
Updates Incoming (some day)
Because of a number of the feature requests in this thread, I'm planning to do a big upgrade and add compability for modern (eg. Android 10) versions in the future. The plan is to add support for users that aren't using Xposed and fix bugs that has risen from Android updates. That would include stock Android users and Magisk users or other mod framework users, if and where possible.
Feature Requests
Don't expect for the upgrade to come too soon, but I promise that I'll continue working on this project when I can. I have really to tight schedule so just hang a bit and submit bug reports and / or feature requests.
For proper tickets visit the GitHub repository's issues page and add the features you want there.

Well. The module is made for Android Oreo 8.1, so I don't see why it wouldn't work. I haven't tested it with other than stock Nexus 5x, but the changes are made for AOSP.
Report back if you can't get it to work. I'm happy to help if you got any issues. I will not guarantee that I will make any updates since this is kind of forgotten and "left as is" project of mine.

Question Are there any ROMs that fix the android 12 ugly UI back to something like android 11?

Title says it all, I hate the bubble toggles that take up the entire screen and require multiple taps. I'm familiar with rooting, and flashing just curious what ROMs are available to help fix this. Thank you in advance!
To the best of my recollection, none as the UI elements are baked into the source code. To go back to the Android 11 UI I think you would need to use an Android 11 ROM, none of which exist for the P6.
Aosp mods does but u lose icon name. It's great to have circle icons again
Use Nova launcher and you can change the look of a lot of the elements. No root needed.

The UI involves more than just the notification shade, which wasn't mentioned. Could have been more specific.
Hope you find a solution.

Well, the OP did mention bubble toggles in his opening post. Agreed that being more specific would have helped. Thank you for the reminder about what kind of work it takes to mod the UI, as I haven't done it in years, especially with Substratum making it painless.
why couldn't someone build android 11 for the pixel 6? any reason it not possible?
I guess the OP is talking about the ugly quick settings with large tiles that take up space and requires multiple clicks to adjust internet and other settings.
The product design of software is the worst I have seen.
Nova launcher cannot alter the quick settings.

Well since I use the notification shade as designed - connection toggles excepted - my mind must be going.

Android 13 colors. I dont like them

How is it that custom colors become a thing where it give us the end users the ability to select colors but they are pre defined based on the wallpaper that is selected.. Way to bork creativity. After install a12 on my pixal 4a 5g I'd thought the install was corrupt due to the weird janky off white I'd suddenly started seeing across the ui. Love the live wallpaper though, static effect doesn't make much sense..
Anyway is there a method to physically select the ascent colors on root android. Free,, I know kdrag0n has an app and I'd purchase it but I don't want to make a patron account nor do I want to purchase through google
