Question Got Sand inside the hindge - Oppo Find N

Unfortunately I have managed to get some sand inside the hindge and under the main screen of my Oppo Find N.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can fix it? The screen had dead pixels and I can feel the same under the screen.
I have written an email to support but they told me to go to a service centers in China ((

Disassemble and clean... sand is hard and quite abrasive.

[Q] TG01 Digitizer problem

On my tg01 my screen does not work on the right upper corner, about 20% of the screen size. If i bend the phone, dragging the corners upwards or downwards, the screen start to work as i should for a small period of time. I must bend it very often, I'm afraid to brake it.
Does anyone know how to safe open the tg01?
What type of screwdriver should I buy?
Is there any tutorial with pictures?
Can I fix by myself the digitizer or I must replace the whole LCD?
Any tested suggestion will be hardly appreciated! Thank you!
Our TG01 has 4 Triwing screwdrivers under the battery cover, i bought a full set of these (sizes 1 - 4) but found none of them to fit so before we can open it up we need to find a triwing screwdriver or bit that fits. I think the best bet is to try one of those nintendo ds or wii triwing screwdrivers to see if those fit, i've seen loads on ebay. Keep meaning to buy one myself to try. If you manage to get those triwings off im guessing you'll next need a torx set usually sizes 5 - 10 will do for phones but you may be better off getting a full set. As for guides / tutorials on dissasembling i had a look myself but couldnt find anything.
Best of luck to you and if you manage to find a triwing that fits please share with the rest of us ;-).
Orange service is the answer
my tg01 got a new imei. the problem was the mother board, not the digitizer. they changed it in orange service. now i test the device to see if it works ok. my old dragon was network free, this one is orange locked.

[Q] Is it possible to replace front glass without replacing the whole screen?

Hi. I have a problem with a minor crack on the front glass near the "go back" button. (I've marked it with red line on this picture: http://i51.tinypic.com/10rpybl.jpg )
So my question is what is the cheapest way to fix it? I have been thinking about SGP Glass but I don't like how it looks, however if there is no option to replace just a front glass, I will consider it.
i have the same question,
Is it passable to separate outer glass and LCD ?
on ebay you can find only glass, no connectors, that means it should be passable to separate them, does anyone tried to do so?
I would like to know that also. Anybody has experience with that?
it is possible, i have the same problem...but ideally you should use a special tool to seperate the digitiser (the actual touchscreen bit) from the glass.
and you'll risk breaking your working touchscreen if it goes wrong..
if the screen functions and the crack isn't that big...and if you can't afford to go the whole way and replace the lot....i wouldn't bother (i'm not and i have a huge spider like crack all over my phone.)
I dont think so. Mostly the Touscreen is bound to the Display.
Watch this Video around 2:45. You will see that he nearly destroyes the glass.

But i cant also explain to myself why there are only "glass" sold on ebay
Glass Frame
hi everyone
to answer all your questions YES its possible but in-order to do so you'll have install a copy of the original glass which comes in full meaning the other half the your phone
this has happened to me, my phone slipped from my hand and fall to the floor the glass was shattered so i went to my friend a mobile phone reaper man and got the glass changed only and its was not that bad although there was no samsung logo i chose to install a glass copy because the price of the original is almost half the price of a new I9100
i hope this helps

That is exactly what I need to do.... Replace the glass only! I already have the glass but need to figure out how to replace it without damaging the digitizer.
Maybe your friend can help?
The whole glass/digitizer is very expensive!
Please help!

This could affect the touch sensitivity badly. If the repair is too pricy for you, use a screen protector so you won't get cuts and save money for repair.

[Q] Regarding the Bezel

Hello,
I just bought the vibrant; however, the bezel is slightly cracked. I wanted to replace it, but every dismembering video of the phone I checked removes the motherboard. Is there any way in which I can remove the bezel without messing with the motherboard, screen, or any other components around it?
Also, the battery cover is scratched. I wanted to buy the replacement cover but there is one available for the i9000 not the t959. I read that it will fit, but I just wanted to confirm it.
I apologize if I sound like a noob or posted this in the wrong section. I spent 3 hours searching for an answer, but found nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Please? Any help would be appreciated.
I don't think you really have an option. After looking at some screen repair guides for the Vibrant it appears the bezel has a panel that goes under the soft keys (see attached image). Also, I've never had my phone get damaged so I never have had to tinker with my physical device. What you could do is buy a case that covers the front bezel like the one I use. It's about 5$ and will hide your bezel + protect it. That's all I can suggest, hope this helps...
Also, not sure about the i9000 back cover working on the Vibrant but here is a brand new back cover you can buy for the vibrant for about 6$.
The only way to replace the bezel is to remove the motherboard. Also, I use i9000 covers for my vibrant. They work beautifully. (I have a chrome one one! ^.^)

Thanks for the help guys. All the electronics I have don't have a single scratch on them, literally, I baby them. I bought this from craigslist; however, I didn't see the scratch during that time. I am very irritated atm.................regardless, thanks for the help.
I was wondering, If I buy a bezel, would somebody be willing to replace it for me? Obviously, I will pay you for the job. If yes, I would greatly appreciate that. Please send me a private message if interested.

[Q] Paper bits stuck in lower gap between screen and bezel

I tried cleaning the dust from in between my I9300's screen and bezel with a paper and got 2 bits of paper stuck in there. I've tried everything but can't seem to get them out for the life of it. It actually looks like they've gone under the screen? Is that even possible? I'm dreading the sight of my phone now because I'm very OCD about such stuff. Also, the dust doesn't seem to want to go with paper or a tooth brush? What's up with that?
ANY help would be highly appreciated.
Thank you!
My first suggestion is don't listen to anyone that suggests using sticky tape, this will leave sticky residue.
You could try cutting the bits of paper away with razor blade, but really I think a measure of perspective is needed here.
Have you tried a blast of compressed air to try clearing dust?
Also I suspect that the bonding between screen layers doesn't extent to the very edges, and so it may be possible that the dust has got between the layers at the very edges.
Most important though is to try and focus on something else more joyous and appreciate your luck in simple being able to afford to own such a device.
Indeed. I am thankful. However, I would really want this fixed.
Doesn't blowing air send the dust under the screen?
Thanks.
If your not happy and can live without your phone for a week send it off to be repaired.
My suffers from the same bad dust problem around the edges, I intend after the New Year to get it sent off to be sorted, not because the dust actually bother me much, more because of it resale value when it comes to the time to sell it on.
S1 & the S2 never suffered this problem, but there seems to be a few S3's that do.
Edit
Also if you do manage get shut of it it will only return again.

[Q] Drove over my Z ultra! :'( new screen?

It has a crack on the screen that made the touch screen stop working the other parts of the phone seem to be working. Is this just a replacement digitizer or a full LCD? The picture looks fine. I am hearing that it's hard to get the digitizer separated from the LCD screen? Aliexpress or ebay a good place to buy a replacement screen?
dafuk did u just do?? jesus ....
Uhm ..if you are not able to use warranty to sent it to repair. Make up a good story etc etc etc
Then start with taking it apart. Use a hairdryer or a hot air gun and circle around the back and then open the device.
There are official guides out there. Use them.

replaced my screen (with digitizer) a few months ago. i would strongly recommend buying screen with digitizer!
first had a sharp display now have a aou.
no problems. its actually quit easy to do. you just need some patience. dont forget to buy the adhesive. you may want to buy a opening tool (some vendors on ebay sell them with the display).
i didnt and used a box cutter but as a result i had a lot of tiny nasty glass pieces flying around (already removed the original foil on the display).
otherwise watch the guides on youtube. most of them are missing a step or two for disassembling so you may want to watch more then one guide.
