Hi!
I tried installing both the Nippon GSI version (Pixel 5) and the official Android 13 GSI on my A105FN, and no dice. Tried flashing the Eureka kernel as well, and nothing.
Also tried installing OctaviOS, then wiping System, Data, Cache, Dalvik then installing the GSI.
I've probably reinstalled the stock firmware like 15 times today, without any success.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there something I'm missing?
Here are my steps:
1. Reboot to TWRP
2. Format Data & reboot back to TWRP
3. Wipe Dalvik, Cache, Data, System
4. Flash DM Verity
4. Flash GSI (as System Image)
5. Flash Eureka kernel (tried both Enforcing and Permissive)
as from today, no more gsi thing. roms are released on telegram and sourcedorge by eureka team if anyone interested in instaibg android 13 in 2023

Hello there,
I have successfully flashed custom recovery (TWRP 3.0) into my Leagoo Alfa 1. (it has stock rom and kernel)
Whenever I flash supersu.zip via TWRP, wipe cache, dalvik-cache, data and reboot system, my phone optimizes apps and boots up.
Then after like 10 seconds it reboots for no reason and phone get stuck on bootloop at logo.
Re-wiping cache did not work.
There are no tools or custom roms for this device.
Why is it happening and how can I solve this issue?
help?
I flashed Lineage OS 14.1 and now the phone is now stuck in TWRP.
I have looked at various forums, tried to use some of the mentioned scripts (using adb and the TWRP terminal), re-flashed the ROM, wiped (Dalvik/ART Cache, System, Cache, Data etc) and still no luck.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can fix my phone? Any help would be much appreciated.
flash another rom. use Mados.
You are on stock partition layout, are you? If you are coming from madOS, then you first have to flash stock rom.
Otherwise if you are in TWRP update it to TWRP 3.2.1-0 (Download),
put LineageOS 14.1 on your device (Download),
reboot to newest TWRP, wipe System, Data, Cache, Dalvik/Art-Cache and flash LineageOS with GApps (arm64, 7.1, nano) and if you want root flash newest Magisk too.
Hope that it works.
Can anyone please guide me, how to dirty flash ota updates of pixel experience? What steps need to be taken and in which order?
I flashed the pixel experience first time in the following order
1. ) Unlocked bootloader
2.) installed twrp
3,) Wiped data
4.) Flashed dfe zip
5.)Flashed rom
Booted
but I really need help in installing new update.
For a dirty install of an update, all you have to do is boot into TWRP and install the new ROM zip, then flash the DFE zip, then reboot into the system. You can wipe the cache and dalvik cache after installing the zips, but i dont think it is nesessary.
I was using Havoc OS 2.2 Pie Based Official Rom In My Mido (Redmi Note 4) Which Was Working Fine
Then I Clean Flashed The Dot OS 3.0
Followed All Steps For Flashing
Wiped Everything Except Internal Storage
After Flashing Dot OS 3.0 And Nano Gapps.
Started Getting Error Android Setup And Weather Provider Keeps Stopping.
Tried Flashing Many Times Getting Same Error
Then I Again Flashed The Havoc OS Now Getting Error Even With Havoc OS Which I Was Using Previously
Was Using Red Wolf Recovery
Now Orange Fox Recovery
Try to delete Android folder on your internal memory
Try to download latest gapps for PIE
Wipe vendor + data + system + cache + dalvik, flash rom + gapps, reboot

The same problem persists with my device as well, the same redmi note 4. I installed pixel experience and then was facing some issue in the rom so thought to reinstall it and then the same problem aroused, i tried corvusOS and WaveOS but same, android setup keeps stopping. Mind it, all the roms I flashed were android 11.
Hi there,
I've reinstalled my Lineage OS in May and have recently installed the latest upgrade. Today, I was using my phone just fine before a subway trip, then after it was stuck in a boot loop (lineage OS circles). My guess is that I accidentally restarted it.
What is the procedure to repair the phone without loosing the data?
I tried:
- Reinstalling recovery, lineage, MindTheGApps in that order
- Wiping the cache partition, wiping the dalvik cache
So far I have not seen any progress. Am I missing something?
I really want to avoid wiping my data as I just set the phone up two months ago.
Did you try dirty flashing the ROM zip by only Wiping the System partition but not Data? I use NikGApps and its not necessary to reflash it during a dirty flash but I flash the latest GApps build in any case. I pretty much use crDroid exclusively and dirty flashing works reliably. Not encrypted though.
Ok, so I did the following
Action -- What I think it does
Install TWRP recovery via fastboot -- to selectively wipe partitions
Wipe System -- to remove system files from the previous update
Wipe Cache & Dalvik cache -- to remove cache files that have previously been written on startup
Install lineage os -- to install a clean OS
Install MindTheGapps -- to install the Google subsystem
System reboot
Files used:
twrp-3.6.2_9-0-beryllium.img
lineage-19.1-20220618-nightly-beryllium-signed.zip
MindTheGapps-12.1.0-arm64-20220605_112439.zip
Again with:
lineage-19.1-20220716-recovery-beryllium.img
lineage-19.1-20220716-nightly-beryllium-signed.zip
MindTheGapps-12.1.0-arm64-20220605_112439.zip
Still caught in the boot loop.
I feel a bit lost here.
I did nothing special. Just installed the newest Lineage OS from the GUI and then apparently accidentally restarted it (or it crashed). This should be a common use case. I would expect there to be a guide or wiki that explains and solves this. But from my own Google searches I mostly see recommendations in the line of try wiping and reinstalling.
I am pretty sure, my data is encrypted. Does this mean I am screwed? (i.e., all not backup-ed data is lost?) Was flashing a new Lineage OS & GApps the step that doomed me?
Before the bootloop did you have TWRP installed instead of LOS recovery? Flashing the OTA update via TWRP can be problematic.
I had recovery installed. I reinstalled the Image from Lineage recovery. After this didn't work I tried it with TWRP.
Did you try flashing the build you were using before the bootloop occurred? No clue otherwise how to resolve this. Hopefully someone else can help you out.
Yes, first I tried installing only MindTheGapps, then lineageOS (last version I had) + MindTheGapps. And I tried a number of recent releases.
I also tried the most recent version and now I cannot install earlier versions anymore: "Current SPL: 2022-07-05 Target SPL: 2022-06-05 this is considered a downgrade".
I gave up. Reinstalled everything. Lost a ton of messages for which I did not have the right backup.
Depressing. Nothing I did was special. So I can expect this to happen anytime. I will improve my backup. But still, in the long term I need to find something that is reliable.
Thanks @amn1987 for the suggestions.
Use Swift Backup for backing up apps and their data, SMS, call logs etc. on a regular basis. Works very reliably. You can backup messages to Google Drive as well. Probably can schedule the backups.
