Did you manage to get it flashed to English? I like to know as well. I bought from a Chinese website and it arrived in Chinese firmware. Using it outside China, it doesn't have the blood pressure function enabled (my main reason for buying it). It does not have Alexa as well. I don't understand half the texts. The vibration is so weak I missed all my workout goal notifications and morning alarms even after I customised the vibration patterns. I need to flash to Global firmware at the very least to lower my increased blood pressure from buying it.

Hello,
I've just receive the new Amazfit PACE 2 Stratos only with chinesse language.
Unfortunately, I used unknowingly the English firmware of PACE 1 and now the buttons and touch screen does not work.
Do you know if we can find a ROM for PACE 2 in English (or other language)
Thanks a lot !
As far as I have seen, the earliest claim for an English release is March.
It would however be possible MAYBE if you were able to dump the firmware to start translating based on that, as well as helping ports to the original Pace
Thanks for yours informations
I unfortunately do not save the original chinesse firmware, so it does not work properly, it only displays the time.
Pavel Zeldin from the "Global Huami Amazfit Pace Smartwatch Group" Facebook group is currently working on implementing the Stratos Fimware. Maybe he can help you!
Greetings Volker
well, i'm just testing it ( PZ is me ), there are a lot more pro devs involved in this, and in the not so far future, the Smartwatch 2 will be Enlishfied
@1immortal Pls send me Super Avante watch face. It should be as an app.

hello,
I think we dont need to wait too much, there are devs already working on chinese stratos porting.
One of them already extract the rom and he is adapting it to the amazfit pace, I think soon they will find a way to translate stratos in english. things are moving.....
regards
Is it OK to purchase Amazfit 2 Chinese version now?
I plan to buy Chinese version now. It is possible to convert it to English firmware in this case, right?
Stratos is still chinese version only [emoji19]

update 2.0.10.0
Hi there!
Has anyone tried the update 2.0.10.0 yet?!?!?!
I will try now. Thanks for info.
Hi, does anyone know of a reputable place I can buy a global version of the Stratos 3 elite, I can't seem to find one anywhere? Not even on eBay?
Is it released globally yet?
Cheers in advance
It seems that nobody knows.. on many websites they state that it will be released with the global version but you can find the watch on Amazon but not the Elite version. I think it's just bad customer support from Amazfit and they just released a couple of the non-elite version to see how things work, quality assurance made by the customer.
Can't recommend
I've had a couple watches from them and all of them have had major flaws and problems, my advice is to avoid this brand by any means, there is no quality control or support whatsoever, if you have problems you're on your own.
Thanks for your reply. I have the Stratos 2 and love it. Had it about 18 months now and no issues whatsoever.
Everything connected with Xiaomi I've found to be excellent

I had a pace for 3 years and it's very good for the price. Had problems but nothing severe.
Bought a stratos 3 for waterproof and better gps and fully regret. Amazfit launched a lot of smart watches in the last year and they have a lot of problems. They have more devices than the ability to mature the firmware.
Keep your stratos 2 and be happy with it.
the elite version is not available yet

No they don't unfortunately. It's very random when you get notifications. Sometimes it works for a few hours then they just stop. Then they start again randomly.
I sold the Chinese model and got the Global model today. Global rom is so much better, all notifications works.
Do we have any info is this device coming to Europe ?? Or where to buy in china ?
tx
I don't think it's will come to eu (read that meny time on internet)
I bought mine on TradingShenzhen
Delivered less than 2 weeks
700€ ?? Well, that is close to asus zenfone 9. Hard to choose
I also bought mine at TradingShenzhen. Took just under 2 weeks to arrive.
How's the experience on Xiaomi 12S? I'm planning to get one too.
Issue I found so far with the Chinese ROM
1. Android auto - communication error 22, previously worked with my old phone ( thinking to flash to xiaomi eu rom)
2. Android home - casting to Chromecast, tried once didn't work
3. Whatsapps - choppy video when sharing with others. I think that's a Whatsapp issue
Otherwise it's been very good

According to some information, 12s series are only available in China, because the Leica authorization is currently only open for Chinese. Leijun says that the next generation of flagship will enter the global market.
Maybe you can try to buy it on Taobao (a Chinese online shopping platform), some of the shops support overseas delivery.

If you're not like Chinese and plan on using this phone as a daily driver than you are probably out of luck as this phone does not sell out of China. Even if you managed to get hold of it warranty and other benefits would not work outside of China.
If you are like me who simply wants to try out Chinese hardware and flash Custom roms than I suggest you wait a bit for devs who manage to get their hands on this device or when Xiaomi releases enough code for custom rom developers for them to churn out a good aosp-like rom.
Of course there is still the issue of this device being Chinese-only so non-Chinese custom rom devs would not pay much attention to this device.
The latest device that supports a mainstream AOSP custom rom (I regard LineageOS and pixelexperience as mainstream) is the Mi11, and that has been out for two years now.
You of course can choose to use the stock Chinese rom, With all the Mi bloatware and ads, other Chinese bloatware, Play services bugs, and you would have to sideload the Play Store.
With the money you are paying for this phone (and the added shipping fee to ship outside China) along with the fact that warranty (or even general) support is only in China (which means if you run into issues with your phone you would have to send it back in China to fix the issues) I suggest you look for a different phone that is officially sold and supported in your region.
I have been thinking about buying a Lenovo Legion y70, and the truth is that I have several questions.
The first is that if the cell phone allows the transmission of screen and sound in the discord?
Also, what is more recommended? Buy a version with the global rom installed on aliexpress, or buy it new and sealed and install it myself?
And also how is the experience with this cell phone? Is it recommended or are there better options?

1. Yeah why wouldn't it? You can do this on any android phone.
2. There is no global rom version. Some sellers off to install google play for you since it doesn't come with it. Either option is fine, but if you don't know how to do it and are going to have trouble figuring it out, having the seller do it will be more convenient, but otherwise it's not too hard to do. Keep in mind you are still using the CN rom, which while it does have English, and other languages, will still have the typical chinese rom bloat.
3. Mine hasn't arrived yet so I cant speak from experience, but if your budget isn't more than 300ish USD, you won't find anything with better hardware. However, this doesn't make it the best option, unless you don't mind being stuck on the chinese rom with no future updates. I think its worth spending the extra for a phone with a good global rom, especially if your carrier is supported (a lot of the alternative options didn't support my carrier), but I personally couldn't afford it which is why I've purchased one of these. If your carrier supports it, I think the Realme GT Neo 5 SE, and Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Turbo are better options. They cost around 330-340 USD, have similar performance, better body weight/size, and much better software. Only thing they're really missing is dc dimming, and good frequency bands/carrier support.
I have a discord server for Legion Y70 information, and discussion here https://discord.gg/r5VMszTGVr, look in the #interested-buyers channel for more info.
