I am trying to unlock my phone, but me unlock doesnt want to log in, when I try it with my normal login it is stuck on "Checking for security issues", when I try the QR code, it promts me to re-login, then gets stuck in a loading animation. Same problem on 2 pcs. XiaoMi tool v2 also doesnt work.
Typical xiaomi servers . You have to wait, but I won't tell you how much. I remember that there was a problem like this for a few weeks, but it was possible to login using the QR code.

I'm not able to use MIUI anymore because of the inability to enter my mi account's password.
So a month ago, I created a new mi account by using my phone number cuz i was not able to unlock my bootloader officially. I then did a factory reset but now whenever i start my phone, it asks for Mi account verification password... So even when i enter the password, it shows incorrect password and i cant get past this part so I'm stuck at this startup screen and cant use my phone at all. I even tried resetting my account password but it says "You've exceeded the number of verification attempts allowed within 24 hours." even after waiting for 24 hours before another attempt. It still shows the same error after a month. I think the reason is not verifying the new number after creating mi account.
I would like to add that I've tried contacting Xiaomi customer service quite a few times but they were of no use so I flashed an early MIUI firmware and i was able to access my phone but it was showing no IMEI number so I unofficially unlocked my bootloader and installed CM13. I'm now on LOS14.1 but wanna switch back to MIUI cuz of camera quality. So is there any way that I can use MIUI ever again?
Please help
Try this. Take out your SIM card and don't enable WiFi at the setup screen. It should bypass the account login page.

I tried that as well but it seems that this mi account thing registers itself with the IMEI number so no matter what I do, it asks for the password in the startup.

I really don't know how Xiaomi expect you to login through their system without any SIM/data or WiFi connection.

Thanks. I'll give it a try. Don't have Wi-Fi right now so I'll have to wait for few days I guess.
One question though: After flashing with the oldest firmware, I lose IMEI so do I need to update through Wi-Fi and then create a new mi account?

Just unlocked the device and the device restarted but i'm confused what to do on this screen?
First option seems to require a phone number, but i don't have a xiaomi phone and im not sure i assigned my phone number to the mi account.
not sure what the wifi option does... it gives me a qr code but it doesn't seem to do anything from my note 9, besides change wifi?
Any help would be super, thanks!
nvm: first option was asking for your miui password...
Asks for your account.. doesnt have to br phone number, xiaomi accounts can also use email.. in my case it asked only password i think.
u just need enter your password without internet. Pass! :good:
Please help me actived the pocophone by bypassing the mi account:angel:
You can't. The whole idea of the account is also the protection of the phone. Reset your password.
if u unloked the phone simply use a non MIUI rom...
Oh man that happen to me once ( on my Xiaomi markw ) till now i cant get through it, even i submit unlock to i.mi.com get scan for invoice, locked code and the box imei still i cant unlock it, i request about 5th :crying:
Okay, I dont know what I'm doing wrong but I cant get into the phone. Here is what I did, I installed the MIUI 11 vs 11.0.8 and when I turned on the phone, it asks me to verify the account using MI account. so I type my password and theyre asking for the code sent to me via sms. But I cant access my sms from there. I tried resend several time and it happens the same every time. What do I do?
Hey folks,
my girlfriend just sold her P6 to a work friend and I wiped the device and thought "thats it". (I even removed the device from the Google Account!)
Sadly thats not it
The phone wants to have a/the? PIN of the device. We never set any PIN (which the google account confirms). What PIN is the device referring to?! Its not the lock-pin she normally used.
Nevertheless the device allows for a recovery via phone number and/or the old google account. We tried that and the P6 even lists the Name of my girlfriend and she gets a login notificiation on her new Pixel 7. But after entering the Password the P6 just say "an error occured, try again." (Ein Fehler ist aufgetreten)
But it doenst matter what we try or how often. We get always back to that screen and into the "an error occured".
So basically we/she are stuck. Any chance I can fix it with some ADB command or anything (dunno if the developer options are even switched on).
Thanks
Bastian
did you try reinstall the stock firmware?
there could be a few different pins
P.U.K is an acronym for Pin Unlock Key
Some carriers also put a SIM PUK on your SIM card when they sell you the SIM card
SIM Network Unlock Pin (NUP) is a code used to unlock an Android phone or iPhone from its original carrier so that it may be used on other carriers
picture of the error might help

During setup, the unit asking for the pin refers to the screen lock pin or password that was used, and no other. You can try 0000 and see if that works, but it likely won't. If the error persists, contact Google and explain it to them. Only don't be surprised if they can't help you.
The only ways to fix this are as follows: 1) contact Google as mentioned, since there is an error in the process, or 2) attempt to unlock the bootloader. If you can successfully unlock the bootloader, then FRP should not kick in the next time the unit is started. If neither option is available, then ADB will not help you here, as by design Google makes it so FRP cannot be bypassed in so simple a manner.

Ok thanks, I'll contact Google.
There has been one PIN and never any else and this doesn't work.
