You will need to open the device and short the test points.

Hi! I´m trying to short the test point in a A02s but the pcb looks different to the one shown in the picture and I don't know what are the test points in this one. I made sure that is a A02s. Can you pleas help me? TIA

Thankyou for uploading the image of the PCB, Can you please upload a picture with back Camera's removed from the main board?
There might be some test points beneath the Camera Strip.
Sometimes for a different hardware variant the test point are different.

I cannot find the test points to this motherboard without physical access to it.
Also this motherboard is different from what we have in India.
Do you have a digital multimeter?

[TOOL] Possible fix to bricked devices.

I'll make it short. I read that some Qualcomm devices get to recover through the installation/flashing of the bootloader from the external SD (the physical SD Card).
So I'd like you to try out the image I've done and see if something changes in your device. This one should include the first four partitions which are required to get the system up.
DON'T TRY IT IN A WORKING PHONE IF YOU AREN'T DUMB, it shouldn't work, but if I were you, I wouldn't try at a first place.
This is the command I used: dd if=/dev/block/bootdevice/mmcblk0 of=/sdcard/test.img count=42572
Count is a combination of the blocks from the first four partitions.
Download: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=817906626617957400
MD5: 6c7903c47f5cd86e2c1bb10266d2671d
Put it right in the root of your external SD.
If its not working, you can also try this:

There isn't a real big deal. This just flashes from byte 0 to the end of this image on the flash memory.
The procedure is pretty simple.
Take off the battery.
Take off the SD card.
Plug it in a computer.
Format to FAT32 if you didn't.
Put the file on the root of the memory, without any other file.
Download Win32 Disk Imager
Flash loader.img to your sdcard.
Unplug.
Put back on phone.
Put battery and try to turn it on.

One more question @facuarmo (sorry about that)... How do we use that command "dd if=/dev/block/bootdevice/mmcblk0 of=/sdcard/test.img count=42572", the info "MD5: 6c7903c47f5cd86e2c1bb10266d2671d" has which use for?

You don't need to use that command. It's just a way to show and be open about how I managed to get that image.
The MD5 is used to verify if the download has been successful ad it's just an optional step.

According to this thread (see translation below) this is cause you've had a bootloader whose version is greater than the one you're tryna install. You must wait till Motorola posts last Nougat "soak test" bootloader.
http://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=938478
If the program shows the message FAILED (blank-flash:sdl-transfer-image:sdl-hello:invalid HDLC frame) it's okay, it's just that the bootloader version isn't compatible [...]

Holy shiz! You can't just do it right from another device through MTP. The SD card must be physically connected to the computer through an internal or USB adapter.

It is inside firmware already by Motorola itself: fastboot_harpia_vzw_oem_vzw_user_6.0.1_MPIS24.241-2.35-1-17_17_release-keys-cid2_vzw.tar.gz.gz
This firmware is available publicly on all known Motorola firmware sites.

Same here dead, black screen, not led but i can flash it with mi flasher by using the patched firehose 660. Flashing goes to 100% but the phone still dead.
http://www.mediafire.com/file/yh1qpgsb5f6o386/firehose_660-66X-636-63X.zip
But that patch is to pass the team to MI6x
You unlock the bootloader with MIUlock, and then, again to MI8lite, to be able to flash using ADB or MIflash.
Do this and you will see.
It gives me an error because of that, I have to return it to MI8lite. That is the doubt. We continue studying. If anyone knows any help ...

GUIDE EDL POINTS and TOOL (no fake points)

Hi , here's how i managed to start edl on my bricked Poco X3
- The true points are hidden by the usb map , and NOT at the place mentionned in many "putaclic" web pages.
- This place make it really harder to connect than in other know devices.
- Here is my solution :
01 remove cover ..
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",

"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
now remove green screws on the top+orange screw in order to remove plastic cover and access mother board.
02 unplug power map (in red) + usb map (in green)
03 now you see test points (in green) and fakes ones (in red)
04 make a tool using aluminium or coper paper and adhesive
05 place the tool in order to contact points like this :
06 reconnect usb map
you will have to press with your favorite nail to get edl start
Thx and Credits:
@mahajant99 (XDA and telegram) for found the points
Myself for the tool and method without remove mother board

For my personal tips, I would avoid flashing custom ROMs and stick with the stock one until at least a stable version of recovery and ROM had been released. I had 4 devices prior to this present Poco X3 and none of them I had hard bricked. Only bootloops.
Anybody now about THE edl point for note 9 pro is? I test it from pictures om Google but it didnt work
Thank you very much for this helpful guide. I hope I do not need it. Very deceptive of people to publish false EDL points. Thanks for that tip ??

By which software can we flash the phone in edl point mode?
So what do you do after that? What did you do to recover the phone? What software? What rom? Please explain more, I'm sure more people will get stuck there...

Hi, i have the same problem. Phone is dead, only recognized by the Qualcomm EDL driver, but i don't know how to use their software and what files i need. Any help would be nice.
Hi,
I have a Poco X3 with a Locked Bootloader and is Bricked. Can someone please guide me on how to unbrick it or unlock the bootloader. I've tried the EDL method and it works but I don't know what to do after that. Do I keep the aluminium foil in and then flash it?, or press the power button? or something else? Any help is appreciated with steps. I don't wanna lose this phone so I hope someone can help me out. Thank you!!
By any chance do you happen to know edl points for Motorola edge 20

probably about HMD Device Kit? or maybe about hoping that that ROM file will eventually give us the answer to something even bigger...
either way, I'm not the OP, so... I don't know.

Got it, my MTK loader wouldn't recognise the files (nor it recognises the phone once started).
Thanks for the share, but I have no use to it, nor I have an up-to-date knowledge (or tools) to test it

Your phone does not have a MTK chipset.
Is it Nokia X30 or a different phone?

And nor will it be useful if your phone is currently on a version newer than what's posted. Downgrading a locked bl device from hmd is not allowed. It will refuse to boot.

by the way, I've successfully rooted and unlocked my X10, go read my guide.
Also, I doubt that unlocking your X10's bootloader would be that easy...
