FRP LOCK with SAMSUNG ACCOUNT - Galaxy S6 Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I HARD RESET my Old Samsung S6 EDGE and wipe cache partion as well (from boot menu) and now I m stuck at FRP Lock. I used the exact Samsung user/password but it cant log me into, instead it just reverts to existing screen. I can easily login to Samsung account on web with this id/pass but not in mobile Why is it not letting me in with the correct user/password? It doesnt give any error either, it just goes back to earlier login screen and/or do nothing.

Looks like it was somehow corrupted. It may be a one time glitch such as a SEU or a hardware failure.
In the future delete the Google account first, then do the factory reset in settings rather than off the boot menu... to add an extra margin of safety.
FRP is a menace... Google keeps piling on the security junk making the devices a true pain to use, less reliable and more inefficient.
Fixing it. The fixes on the internet or take it to a Samsung Experience center at a Best buy.

Thank u very much bro, I managed to get to the phone setting by some FRP Unlock App, then I factory reset the phone again from android settings but it works the same way again. Do u think Flashing the mobile will be the last resort (I dont wanna do this, since I wanna keep the original official stock rom). I can get to setting but not the home with FRP Unlock App. Problem is the Samsung Account lock screen keeps coming and prevents everthing. How to disable this?

You're welcome.
XDA doesn't allow posting hacks for FRP even if I did know how to. I'm very careful to make sure it's never tripped. I've been locked out of a bios before over a corrupted password. It happens, best not to set one whenever possible. If you get into a boot loop on an Android and can't access safe mode or repair it then a boot menu factory reset is the only option. If the password then fails you're right were you are now.
The easiest(?) most secure way is if you can get Samsung to do it for you.

Exchange security policy preventing use of camera

I have been using the GS2 for 3 months now with no issue. This Saturday when I was out with some friends I tried to use the camera and couldn't get it to turn on and a line "security policy restricts the use of camera" popped up. I checked the Exchange Policy in my Exchange account and sure enough it was disallowed but it mysteriously went back to normal after 24 hours. I then checked with my company's IT and he said he didn't touch it at all over the weekend. However after hearing about it he then proceeded to turn off the use of camera as he felt this is a security threat. Now both my GS2 and Galaxy Tab's camera is inoperable. However, other phones that are connected to the same Exchange including HTC Android phones, Blackberry and iPhone are unaffected with their camera still working. My IT is convinced that the Samsung exchange client is the problem. Has anyone else has this problem? I love my GS2 but if I cannot use Exchange then I will have to force to use something else.
Have you solve this Issue??
I`m having the same problem with Tablet and Exchange. I will check exchange policies.
Easily overcome, there are modded apks which bypass the policy. Here's my version which I've modified.

I assume your rooted, just copy and paste the apk into system/app using a root explorer and change permissions to:

He is convinced the Samsung client is the problem because it is obeying the policy he enforced? Confused...
The problem are the other clients, that he consider a threat. If he was serious he should ban the other phones...

how can i remove remove this security? its also restricted "Mass Storage" "USB connection" and the "Camera".
I already did "Flashing PDA" , "Factory Reset" and also I tried JTAG. I killed it because I tried to flash some file. but now its revive again.
policy lock is still on the phone, it has sign of padlock on top of the screen.
i think EFS reset can remove this kind of lock.
Better and simple (but it took hours for me to find it):
- Your GN2 needs root
- With Root Explorer or Total Commander, delete all files into \efs\security (especially the ones regarding DMM...)
- Backup with Titanium Backup if you wish to recover your apps.
- Boot into Recovery (Vol Up + Home + On/off) - Wipe all Data/Factory Reset - Wipe Cache
Of course, this will erase all on your mobile... including each security policy that has been implemented: Camera, SD Card, Bluetooth, USB connection, ....
Deleting DMM... without wiping will leave the security policies unchanged as DMM is read first by the GN2 at booting, and then other system files are modified accordingly.

No device administrators but still can't disable pattern lock screen

EDITED: I think this is caused by a wifi certificate. I wonder it's not set as Device Administrator:

I've got a suggestion for another ROM-feature:
At ICS you always have to use a lock pattern or PIN to unlock the screen if you're using certificates for WiFi (etc. "eduroam" at university"). So is ist possible to use the standard ICS lock screen while using certificates?

Flash the ROM again, or do a full wipe.
EDIT: Or install another locker, like WidgetLocker!

It's a good idea but, unfortunately, doesn't work. After unlocking with WidgetLocker I have to unlock next with the pattern unlock, so no advantage here.

I had the same issue. I found that if I deleted my vpn credentials I was then able to disable screen lock.
Very happy this thread was here. It was bugging me that I didnt know why i couldnt disable the screen lock.
I had the same problem, and came digging.. Saw the VPN reference and was hoping that was it, but it wasn't... I had VPN installed, but had removed the account, so nothing there to fix.
It did make me think about certificates though. I went in and disabled a few I didn't recognize, and POOF, that solved the problem.
I'm having a very similar problem, only it came about a little differently. I had corporate ActiveSync e-mail installed on my HTC DNA running stock Android v4.1.1. My IT department recently implemented new policies that require screen lock, remote wipe, etc. When they rolled out these policies I accepted them, except the change failed when it said my device was incompatible with the Remote desktop policy. But this change didn't occur until after the other policies were set.
I switched to Touchdown which is working well.
However, the old ActiveSync policies in the core OS are still being enforced. This causes me to enter two PINs to check my email... one for the device and one for Touchdown.
I've completely removed the ActiveSync account from the Android mail app. And I don't have the Device Administrators option listed in the Security menu.
However, my screen lock option for NONE is still grey because it's set by administrator policy.
How can I fix this?

How to SIM Unlock an SGS3 with android 4.3 & root & code not working

Hi,
I have an Samsung Galaxy S3 I9300, unfortunately it is carrier locked to Telenor, and I have accidentally updated it to android 4.3, where the EFS version has changed.
I have already rooted it with Odin and CF-Auto-Root, but can't find any damn way to unlock it (don't even mention the "pay for code" sites, i'd rather crush this phone in my hand than pay a cent for unlocking it, free way is the only one to go)
Do you have any ideas? If you need any more information then just ask, I will tell anything you need.
Better crush it now and save yourself some time. Samsung changed the efs for a reason, that reason stops you unlocking it.

Hmm, I think I can make it, maybe not by unlocking it "illegally" but by asking the carrier (I know the person who has bought the phone locked, will ask him to call the carrier and ask for unlock code because he needs to go to another country where he cannot use his SIM card, these bastards need to respect their clients.
I still need to downgrade it to 4.1.2 tho, version 4.3 just sucks and i need to charge the phone 3 times a day if i want to use it normally, also everything is laggy and launching a few apps causes a crash to the menu very often.
I read that it is kinda troubled, because the bootloader changed and now wont allow to flash an older one, but I can flash stock 4.1.2 ROM which supports EFSv2 and that only the LTE version of SGS3 cannot be downgraded, is it right?
I attach a screen from Phone Info app, let me know if it is possible to safely downgrade to 4.1.2 and where should I head in order to do it.

I got the unlock code (NCK) from the carrier, but after trying it i got an "Network unlock unsuccessful" message...the phone is still locked and I have already tried unlocking it 2 times (first because I thought it was asking for SIM PIN lock, and now with that code which I'm 100% sure is correct but the phone is acting weird) and I'm kinda scared to try it again because it may get locked permanently (i think?) and I will need to pay for some defreeze code..
I searched a bit and found out that other people also had this problem, and they fixed it by doing this:
In order to successfully unlock the phone, this had to be done firstly:
1. Make sure that wifi and flight mode is turned off
2. Go to the Dial pad and dial *#197328640#
3. Click on number [1] UMTS > [1] Debug screen > [8] Phone Control > [6] NETWORK LOCK
4. You will see 3 options
5. Please click on number [1] Perso Sha256 INFO, the screen will change slightly
6. Please hit the MENU button then when the menu pops up please carefully hit BACK to return to the previous screen
7. Please click on number [2] Perso Sha256 ON, the screen will change again to a one line message
8. Restart the phone on the screen by holding the power button and click RESTART
9. Reattempt to enter the code
10. Now the phone is supposed to accept the unlock code.
Click to collapse
but the problem is that after dialing that code, all I get is "Not registered on network" error. I'm running stock ROM updated to 4.3 (from phone) but the phone is rooted, may this be the cause?
I will try calling that carrier later but im 100% sure they will just tell me to try again, and im also 100% sure that the code I entered was correct.
I am doing it the "legal" way and it also doesn't work, so is this damn phone just unlockable, even the carrier who locked it cannot do anything?
Edit
If nothing will work with that code then I will maybe try doing this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=50463614&postcount=7
however I'm not really positive about it, it will very likely fail. It's a complete bull**** that this phone cannot be unlocked even by the carrier who locked it...
Guys i have no idea, i've flashed stock 4.3 ROM from Telenor to unroot it and factory formatted the phone (from android recovery) but still after entering the code it says unsuccessful...Any damn ideas about this? I managed to get into the Network Lock menu from *#0011# and Key Input->Q0 but it just says MENU NOT EXIST current command is 186. Not even the legal way to do it works, so I'm just supposed to throw this phone away?...

facing the same problem on my s6 edge
Buddy did you figure out any solution for this...I've tried stock restore...data wipe...but nuthing worked
look in my twrp thread.. i wrote how it will work
no luck
Thanks Alex..I looked in your twrp thread...unfortunately even after logging into my Samsung account to disable reactivation lock..it still stays on ...
I hope there is another way of unlocking the bootloader or at least some other way for me to root the phone...im not too concerned with custom rom...just root
Cheers buddy
Odin to stock and don't sign into the Samsung account it will only activate once you sign in. So just don't sign in.
How would I do that..since everytime i odin it to stock it asks me to verify previous samsung account because of 'ireegular reset'..any advise????
Any luck with this issue.....im still unable to toggle reactivation lock...still unable to do any custom installations to the phone and unable to root...any help appreciated
Stupif $#%#$%$# Phone
I enabled reactivation lock, in order to use an app, or fingerprint or something i didnt even need and got rid of right away, forgot to turn it back off, rebooted the following week and WHAM, CUSTOM BINARY BLOCKED BY REACTIVATION LOCK Because of custom rom, ok fine, i will boot into twrp and load backup, nope, same blocked... alright, i will login my samsung account online w/ pc and disable it, CANT do that until phone loads some sort of OS, Let me dig deeper into samsung settings online.... Do you want to use 2 step verification? NO I DONT, but only option is OK lets do enable it! alright... so send me SMS to phone that I cant boot into? Ya ok, lets not... How about my LAND line?! ok... nope landline doesnt accept SMS's,, OK lets get TEXTNOW on the old iphone4s, sms received! yay... enter code,, Doesnt work... try again? nope, 4 times ur out.
Next step... Once I stop yelling and swearing, Odin mode a stock recovery, or stock rom....
Oh and my main pc with all the roms, odins, recoveries, apks, bypasses, etc wont bootup because malwarebytes scan seems to have raped all my USB ports/w10 usb drivers, so no mouse or keyboard will work (bios works fine, linux live distros all fine)

Though it would help anyone who would want to try and help if you provided some more information on the nature of the issue and phone.
For example knowing the disposition of the phone (how you got it, is it a demo/retail/company provided/etc), what kind of phone it is (snapdragon, exynos), model of the phone and how MDM was (or would have been) activated on the phone. MDM isn't there for no reason, and it would seem (reading what little I did on those Google Searches) the solutions would kinda seem too tailor towards the reason:
For example:
You work for a company (or of your own accord) that installed Mobile Device Management profiles
This is a demo unit from a store
You installed an application that configured MDM
You may have tried installing firmware (official, custom, unofficial, etc)
well i think im gonna keep using it as demo there is no help any where .exept the 120 usd to drop the file for parmanent remove of that demo .

Hi there. I had the same issue on my samsung Note 10.1 2014 edition I purchased as a demo unit. tried flashing stock ROM using ODIN with no effect and unable to factory reset. finally, this was how I was able to factory reset by tablet with all the retail settings including all the preinstalled videos and images gone.
1. Firstly, your device should be signed into your google account.
2.Enable find my phone in settings
3.Go to your google account (in the same device or different device).
4.Go to devices and select lost device
5.press "consider erasing" device
And Voila, the tablet was reset to stock android with no retail apps or data.
Hope this helps someone.
Thanks

Interesting
But I doubt this flaw will work on latest devices note 8, j7 pro,. Just to mention two of the devices I have got.
Also some MDM implementations will not allow you to enter settings menu.
