hidden menu - LG V60 ThinQ Questions & Answers

so the hidden menu on lg v60 has like a million options and weird abbreviations. I even saw one option that was "fake language" and when you click it it just to another page that says enable or disable. What does that do?
also has anyone gone through all the options and explained what they all do???
or what is a way to get better service ??which is my main interest. I know I can do RAT selection and force 5g but what about carrier aggregation and the other options. I would like to figure out a way around deprioritization. if thats possible

How to modify quick access menu on android 2.42?

When you swing your finger down on android 2.42 you see that well known notifications menu. However there is a new tab called "Quick Access".
Devs dropped there what they imagine would be useful (their imagination always stops in a half way).
So is there any possibility to edit this menu?
I'm looking in the configuration menus but I can't find anything.
Thanks.

LG Hidden Menu

There is an app in /system/app that implicates there is a hidden menu in the phone. Well I did some digging and here is what I have come up with.
Dialing 3845#*970# brings up the menu for us with tons of diagnostic tools and radio controllers. I believe for the ones who have wanted to turn off LTE, this is where it will be done at!

Just thought I would share this with you all. There is a post a little bit about it on the Sprint forum, but thought i'd post it here too.
For those wanting to try to log it into 4G only try
Service Menu > WCDMA-Only > Modem Settings > RAT Selection > then select one of those, if one doesn't work try the other.
Hidden menu on AT&T LG Optimus G is 3845#*970#
Bleh thought it saved...i did the star lol

[Q] Unlock menus locked by Verizon

Hi,
I'm from UK and was I was lucky enough to win a Galaxy S4 following a recent visit to SanFran. They posted it over to me when I returned and I've since been trying to get it working with my O2 (UK) sim card.
Most things work ok except I cannot change the SMS message center - because the menu just doesn't doesn't exist.
I don't have a simple button for enabling / disabling Wifi - and a few other minor issues.
I ahve rooted it and have enabled access to the hidden system menus but I don't see the option anywhere. I would like to keep the stock touchwiz ROM at this stage because I'm pretty happy with it. How do I enable all these menus?
Thanks,
Colly

To which menus are you referring? The Hidden dialer options?

The menus (or menu options) I can't see but want to see include the SMS message center menu option, the wifi toggle in notification area, the autocorrect menu, the blocking mode menu.
I also want to get rid of the "Non-Verizon SIM" notification.
I thought I would be able to get access to these features via the hidden system menus (e.g. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2303905 ) or via dialler service menus (e.g. http://androidforums.com/samsung-ga...unlocking-jelly-bean-service-modes-found.html ).
Do I just need to install a custom ROM? Is there a Touchwiz ROM out there that is pretty much standard but has ALL menus and features enabled?

You could use Safestrap and install Hyperdrive RLS12 on the device. It is Twiz based so you can keep all of your S4 features while fixing the wifi toggle and not installing the Verizon software that you can't use anyway.

few options I've found

So I found a few options. I was originally looking for launcher options to add Google swipe to right for news feed. I believe it's called discover. Not to sure. I found the hidden menu on the LG V20.
However, I came across a few cool things like the recents tab. I just don't know how to enable it. Perhaps someone who knows how these things work can show me?
Also has anyone successfully hidden the time in the right hand corner? I use system ui turner, after enabling options that I like, if I turn off the screen, the options no longer stick.

I found this in the service menu, what is it?

Anybody know what this is? It will let me turn it on, but I don't know what it is.
Not exactly the answer you were looking for here.
Although I don't have the answer for you, but could you help me with any link or instruction to get into secret or service menu ?
For hidden menu try (for Verizon Wireless ##228378 (+ send)
Or do you just mean turn on developer options menu? To enable Developer Options, go to About phone in Settings, then tap Build number seven times.
