You can install ANX camera which is identical to the stock MIUI camera but you need to root for that
thanks it ok batery after 10 hours is 91 %
Works great, fast and smooth. Battery life is great too. No bugs noticed so far, except VoLTE not working. It was working in Project Elixir

Updating PixelPlusUI from 3.9 to 3.10 which seems to be the last version before it got discontinued, in your phone, go to settings, system, update, download the update, once its done downloading, do not install it, close settings, hold the power button tap advanced => recovery, in recovery go to flash, go back in a directory and find the folder data/System Update, inside there you'll find a zip file called PixePlusUI_v3.10_something something.zip, flash that file without wiping anything, when it's done, go back and then go to wipe, tap advanced wipe, select only Dalvik/ART Cache and Cache so you don't lose any data. reboot, Done! Majority of the features are the same, but this is based on Android 13 and has slightly less customization options. But you still get unlimited Google Photos backup and stuff
I tried to flash it, but it doesn't seem to work in my device, here are the steps I took -
I first flashed in PixelPlusUI_4.1 based on Android 12.0.
It works fine.
Then I flashed in PixelPlusUI_5.0 based on Android 13 via TWRP. unfortunately, it got stuck on the Redmi logo screen at boot and then repeated the process.
I checked the /sdcard directory and found it empty.
My device is a Xiaomi Redmi 10X 4G released in mainland China with the device codename merlin, and I thought this version of PixelPlusUI should also work for my device, but it does not.
I would appreciate if someone could help me with this issue.
TWRP won't decrypt my partitions even after the rom is installed, so I can't flash anything through it, gotta use adb. I'm using the recommended twrp img
I have a bug after installing it. I am not able to make or receive calls after the installation. Please suggest some solution.
Do I have to separately install gapps? If so, how should I do that?

First attempt and I ran into this error.
E1001: Failed to update system image.
Any ideas why ?
The abort is when flasing to system partition and I can't see a reason why it should fail.

Sorry for all the noise I've created. This experience does remind me that there are certain best practices recommended for a reason. In my case, it was a corrupt download and I should have validated the file checksums first. Sometimes being lazy has a price to pay.
I've successfully been able to flash the zip after redonwloading it.
Can senior member checkout this rom.
This rom is uploading GBs of data in background and when i check in data usage there is no record of that. Also no installed app ( chrome , photos playstore etc ) is using the data

Impressions are a personal thing. I hope my view match to yours. That said, from my usage so far, I have been quite impressed with the ROM overall. It is fluid and checks on all the items on my list. Coming from MIUI, there are some things I miss, like Dual Apps and Call Recording. But these are MIUI specific features. Other than that, this is a perfect ROM.
Many thanks to the maintainer @lopster70 who's done an awesome job on it and the project Project Elixir in general.
I just hope that this ROM does not get discontinued by the project or the device maintainer. I have high hopes that that wouldn't happen given `miatoll` is a combined device tree comprising of multiple devices.

for the record, I haven't noticed any such activity. I would refrain from generalizing with any such statement without first doing a thorough check.
I have version 1.1 , is it okay to dirty flash to 1.3? I don't have time right now to set up from scratch
Edit : Android 12 encrypts everything so fresh install after all

Oh okay , i got it. So i have to format data first and flash the rom after then. Everything is clear. Thank you for answer quickly. İ will use this rom as soon as I can. İ don't like the dark mode on PE. İt's not dark , it is more like gray. İ want to have full black dark mode. Phone screen is AMOLED and i want to experience it with real dark mode. Not gray i hope Ppui has real dark mode.
Anyone can test with android auto replying to a phone call and having flashlight pulse enabled ?
It makes the flashlight ring pulse unstoppable even if you reply and talk at the call...had to reboot.
Other than that i have had one standby silent death.
And one glitch with no homescreen launcher quickly resolved with a random gesture...
I find the rom good on battery (both idle and screen on)
Much more responsive than PE

I can confirm about the sleep bug... notification led keeps working but phone does not wake up. Happened 3 times while I was driving and the phone was providing wireless AA.
Another time the screen frozed half rotated while waking up the phone from sleep ... Even with the power button I was just turning off and on the display with the screen still frozen
Can the search bar at the bottom of homescreen be removed?

Hello, I have some questions.
-Will I be able to flash with 12.5.4Mi?
-Will updates come through the update points in the firmware?

Greetings, this is the first ever rom i have flashed in my merlin, and so far so good! it works well, does what it is intended to. Almost everything is expected to work as the description suggests. Although i have gotten a few drawbacks, such as the camera seems to have degraded unlike the stock rom, and there is a bug in the phone caller in which it force stops out of nowhere whenever you access it. But it functions when someone is calling you. There is also this bug where com.mediatek.ims forcefully stops. It doesn't seem to affect the system entirely but i do think that it is somehow related to stock phone caller. So far, it is one of the best roms that i have flashed even tho its just the first time. 9/10 overall
SIR I FLASHED THE PIXELPLUSUI 4.6 BUT STILL HAS THE SAME BUG AS THE PREVIOUS ONE EVERY TIME THE SCREEN TURNS ON IT WILL FREEZE AND RESTART SOMETIMES WHEN I TYPE MY PIN PASSWORD IT FREEZES ALSO IS THERE ANY FIX FOR THIS SIR

simply go to recovery factory reset, wipe cache, dalvik, system, vendor partitions and then flash the rom/ you can sideload it too via adb. Let me know if you face any errors

I just updated to 4.7 from 4.6 and I can confirm that there is a significant performance boost! The menus and overall System UI is smoother; Subway Surfers does not lag every time you make a move; and YouTube no longer lags when trying to display videos that are 720p60/1080p60 (Even 1440p60 is working mostly smoothly)!
I'd recommend everyone to try this build out, it'll help with many of the problems you're having. Update does not require you to lose your existing files/settings, although I noticed that I couldn't update from v4.6 using the built in OTA and so I needed to flash it on my own using adb sideload
Just installed v4.7, been using it for a few hours and everything seems to be working. There is a slight lag in general system navigation but is mostly smooth running. Hopefully the next update makes it more responsive.
Update : I flashed this firmware through ADB sideload and now lags have disappeared, full OS runs super smooth. No complaints.

Yesterday I went from zephyrus A13/oos12fw back to oos11fw (without MSM tool) and flashed Elixir A13 on my oneplus8T without any problems. So far I haven't found any big problems. DT doesn't always work, but I've noticed this with other A13 builds as well. I'm looking forward to new builds of Elixir soon .
Nice ROM, i like it a lot, cant wait for more updates!
Some bugs i faced : fingerprint sensor on the AOD doesn't always works, even it shows "press firmly on sensor" but no light from reader comes to read finger.
missing features from Essence panel.

Hello,I am currently using Project Elixir on my OnePlus 9R and I love it ....Till now it's one of the best ROM that I have personally used.
But I am facing some battery drainage issue and mainly the most important problem is that the " Usb Options " is not working for my OnePlus device ....It shows all the options when connected via USB with my pc but all the options is in grey can't select any of it no file transfer or anything else....
Plz help me fix this

Hello All,
I have been using this ROM for about a week and wanted to share some details on its performance and bugs.
Firstly, ROM is stable and good to go for daily use even though its in BETA. Performance is good, no massive frame drops noticed and overall pretty smooth. Battery life is a strong point as it seems to be performing better than the Android 12 based ROMS while using similar apps.
The Issues/ Bugs:
1. The quick settings tiles sometimes stop working, i.e if you enable/disable wifi or mobile data, it won't actually do anything and sometimes does not respond at all. A restart of the system UI fixes the issues. Happens occasionally but I do notice it once in 2-3 days.
2. The camera access privacy feature sometimes does not turn back on even though it shows as 'on' in the settings toggle and quick tiles but the camera fails to open without restart. This does not happen automatically but since I had enabled/ disabled few times so I noticed it.
Overall a very solid ROM, I hope the devs continue working on it and these small issues get ironed out.

- Download Project-Elixir ROM zip, boot.img, vendor_boot.img and dtbo.img.
- Reboot into Fastboot.
- Flash boot using: "fastboot flash boot_ab *bootname.img*.
- Flash vendor_boot using: "fastboot flash vendor_boot_ab *vendor_bootname.img*.
- Flash dtbo using: "fastboot flash dtbo *dtbo.img*.
- Reboot to recovery.
- As soon as the Android Image shows up on the screen hold down the Power key for a couple of seconds.
- While you holding the Power button quickly press the Volume Up key.
- In recovery, format data with Factory Reset
- Sideload the zip with Apply Update: adb sideload <ROM zip file>
- Reboot and enjoy.

I have seen the screenshots of ProjectElixir and they show configuration options that are not available in this rom, do you plan to incorporate them later? There is one that I find especially useful and I had in PixelExperience which is to adjust the brightness from the status bar, would it be possible to include it?
