You have provided too little information to answer you.
Do you have access to the device via USB?
When connected to the charger, is the device charging (it should be warmer in certain areas)?
Did you remove the SIM and microSD before testing?
Did you flood, freeze, overheat, bump the device?

It has freezed a couple months ago and it doesn't do anything not feeling warm when charging battery. Battery is full because when we measure it with a multimeter the voltage is high. removed everything even battery

Update devices is warming up while charging stil no response

Try pressing HOME + DOWN VOL + Power. HOLD until the device restarts.
If this doesn't do anything, try charging with a different charger/cable just in case.

Tried everything device does not feel warm while charging there are no signs of life. maybe the custom rom was too heavy for the device that killed it with the heat.

[Q] HELP! Atrix does not power on!

Ok so I was at work listening to music when my phone froze. Pulled the battery, which was only at about 85%, and tried to restart. And, nothing. No green light, no dual core screen. Tried four different chargers, including OEM Motorola charger, and tried hooking up to my home PC. Only thing that happens is when I hook up to the PC without the battery in the green light comes on. Power button still doesn't turn the phone on. Just turns off the light. I tried to search, but the closest I found was people stuck at the dual core screen or people who didn't realise their batteries were dead. If it helps, I'm unlocked, rooted, and running GingerMod 2.3.6. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
Sam issue
I am having the same issue with my wife's phone. We both have Atrixes and I have tried swapping batteries and her battery works fine in my phone. I still can't get it to start up. No green light when plugged into the charger but a solid green when plugged into usb on my PC. How did you end up solving your issue?
I got this problem once. To fix, pull battery out, plug in wall charger to phone (without battery), should boot to the battery with question mark icon, plug battery back in.
I work at a cell phone repair store , and from reading your symptoms I think you might have an issue with the flex cable running your LCD. In the atrix if you drop it there is a possibility of shaking the flex cable off your board, and its a matter of micro soldering or just connecting the cable. I DO NOT suggest doing it yourself. If you want it done professionally call my work. 6053350411

I solved this problem with wall charger
Will anyone here elaborate how to fix it again?
If I plug it in wall charger, no response and no light.
If I plug it in USB, green lights on without battery, no light with battery.
In any case, pressing the power button cannot power on the device.
Please help. Thanks.
Sounds to me like your battery is having issues. Maybe try getting a new battery?
Thanks for your quick reply. I have actually got a new battery already. Still the same behaviour.
Then I can only assume it's the phone. Perhaps the charging circuit. In any case, sorry but I have nothing to recommend. :dunno:
If the plugging it into the wall without a battery in it didnt work... then try waiting for the phone to boot (assuming that it still is and the LCD is disconnected) and swipe where the unlock button normally is, pressing volume up or down, or perhaps try ghosting to adb and run adb devices in the command line... or simply try calling it lol. Also a good piece of information to get... does the backlight come on? If you can prove that the phone is in fact running, then it is most likely the lcd cable as someone said...

Thanks for your advice. I didn't drop the phone before it went to "no-response" status. I just put it on a HD dock for charging and the next day it doesn't boot anymore. I have put in HD dock for charging for a few weeks already.
My phone doesn't boot at all. I don't see any backlight or any special response. Or It does something that I don't know. I tried to plug into USB after pressed the button. If it's on, the computer should detect a device, right?
Any ideas are welcomed, i will try all.

Dead Device?

Searched around and there doesn't seem to be a fix? Not sure. Anyway, here are the details:
- Rogers, NOT rooted, running the latest update (6.0 I think?). Was working fine all day yesterday. Turned it off last night before bed, and plugged it in.
This morning, it wouldn't power on. No button combination to get to recovery / download mode is working. I've tried multiple cables with no luck. One thing that DOES work - is wireless charging. The phone doesn't react as if it's charging (no LED, screen doesn't activate), but the wireless charger reacts as if it is charging, and the phone gets warm as normal.
Any ideas?

Hold power and down for 20 seconds does it boot to safe mode?
Nope, doesn't power on in any form.
Does it respond to the charger?

No, the led doesn't light up at all. The wireless charger does respond though - and the battery seems to heat up on the phone. But no other indication that the phone is charging.

Do you still have warranty? If yes, get it exchanged. If not, maybe try to open the back, unplug the battery and look for any sign of damage or burn. Maybe try plugging it in without the battery or go to a repair shop that can do that for you. Seems like you already tried all other things, that came to my mind.

Try to do the download mode combination vol down + home + power for 20 seconds. Then press vol up then plug into odin. See if it picks it up? It could be just dead screen/board
Thanks both for the replies! Yeah, the phone is out of warranty (bought it July 2015...grr). I haven't tried loading it with Odin - I will try that soon. I ended up getting a new phone so at least I'm not without a device, but if I can get the S6 repaired then at least I can sell it to recover some lost dollars. Thanks!!

Poco overcharged overnight

hi guys i plugged my phone in original EU wallcharger at 9pm with battery status 51%, unplugged it at 1:30am(after 4.5hours) after that when pressing power button it was showing poco f1 logo + discharged battery logo at the same time it blinks and shutdown
now is completely dead zero reaction for any keys combination
Can i try do anything or should send it on warranty?
I haven't heard of this happening with an F1 before, but it happened to my old Moto g5. I suggest you leave it discharged for a while to fully run down then plug it in with the phone powered down for 3hours or so.
See if it will power on then
With the g5 I read that some battery protection feature was prone to triggering - with time it would reset
Good luck!
Try recharging it again, use different cable+wall plug.
Try powering on whilst plugged in to charger to check what's happening.
If not improving then it's obviously not normal, maybe a battery failure. Try to backup files if possible and get replacement under warranty.

Are you sure you turned ON the switch after plugging the charger. It happened to me as well. After leaving the device in charge for an hour, I realized I didn't even turn on the switch from the main board.

Yes. So what we do is, we first insert the charger in the plug and then we turn on the switch which is located just beside the plug point. The plug point will only start passing electricity once we turn on the switch.
Any update?
Completely dead....
All solutions didnt work, thanks for help guys.

It needs a fair amount of current during boot up, a charger may not supply enough.
Batteries last 1-3 years. I just look at replacing them as part of normal maintenance.
Get it out of there before it fails... any swelling is an Li failure which can cause severe damage.
hey thanks for the info
I tried to start from stock using Rescue tool from motorola
everything went normal but now i tried to boot up and nothing happens even with the charger plug in
any help thanks
I forgot to mention if I leave it alone for a while sometimes it turn on but won't go passed Motorola
Any ideas what to do?
Thanks

Try replacing the battery, then go from there.
It may be a dead end but you need to eliminate it as the cause. You could also check it's voltage after a failed boot to get an idea of it's condition.
Fully charge it first... and don't short it out while measuring it. Measure before and right after boot attempt with no charger.
4.3 volts is about 100%
3.9 volts is about 70%
3.5 volts is about 20%
Since it's a no load reading at 100% it should be near 4.3 volts. After the attempt if it drops below 4 volts it's likely toast.
Thanks
But isn't the display supposed to turn on when I plug in the charger
Not even the display shows anything..

Probably time to have it examined. May be a loose connector, a C-port or a mobo failure.
Or may be from a bad flash...

Try a hard reboot. Disconnect/reconnect the battery if needed. Inspect it's contacts if you do and all other ribbon cable connections... make sure nothing slipped by.

same results as before except for the fist boot when i installed new battery
something i noticed when in fastboot mode when i have it connected to charger with no battery connected where it says :

but it shuts off i believe because the battery is not connected

Not for sure it sounds like either the C port pcb or mobo is bad.
Any indication the battery is charging ie heat when on the charger?

POCO M3 Pro 5g not booting up after unexpected shutdown. It does not charge as well

I was using my phone scrolling on Facebook then it suddenly shuts down. After that I tried to boot it but after holding the power button for 15 secs It shows that its out of battery. but I know my battery life was at 98% cause I just finished charging.
1 day has passed since.
Here's what It tried so far but failed:
I charge my phone but the charging screen does not appear. but it only shows the empty battery screen.
Tried to hard reset by holding the power button and volume down.
Drain the battery for 1 day then booting it.
Boot it while charging.
Hard reset while charging.
Tried to charge it for up to 2hrs then boot it.
Can someone tell me what's the the problem and how I can fix it?
Possible battery or mobo failure.
Maybe a loose connector.

The last thing you want to do is hand a repair shop a torn down phone.
A correct diagnosis can save a lot of time and trouble.
does it connect usb, if yes which is the deviceID of the usb connection (Vendor ID + Product ID)?
