Following the instructions given in this excellent video
I successfully managed to upgrade wifeys old Lenovo B50 laptop ( CPU: AMD A6 -6310, RAM: 8GB ) running Windows 10 Pro - what in eyes of Microsoft is an incompatible computer - to Windows 11 22H2. It only requires to download the ISO from Microsoft and to run a 1457-lines script!

When Remix OS Beta launched a day ago, i tried installing to my hard drive and get this:
Code:
find --set-root --ignore-floppies /menu.lst
error 15:File Not Found
Press any key to continue . . .
My PC Specs are:
HP Pavilion G7-1338DX
Intel Core i3-2350M (2nd gen Sandy Bridge)
8 GB RAM
Intel HD Graphics 3000
Windows 8.1 Pro
If possible, please find a method to fix. I really enjoyed Remix OS until this happened. And I don't want it installed on my flash drive because of it's speeds.
I use the old USB installation method with new beta .ISO on USB flash drive and copy to hard-disk .then Use easyBCD to add remix boot menu... Work fine now.
Hey, I got a 2nd hand IBM T30 from a friend, I've never used any OS apart from Windows. ( )
I'd like to install Remix OS on this computer, But have no Idea how to do it, I never used Bios and I'm not familiar with those things.
I was hoping someone could guide me through the process via either chat or videochat.
I already have the Remix OS's .zip on both my USB and the T30.
many thanks.
Recommended system requirements
2 GHz dual core processor or better
2 GB RAM
Minimum 8 GB of free hard drive space
Internet access is helpful
Try the instructions in below link if it satisfies

I don't think it will run.. if i remember correctly
The pentium's with M in them...dont have SSE3 support
*something Android x86 needs
** the is a custom made Android KitKat without the need for sse3 (Google it)
I also doubt.. that you laptop supports, booting from usb stick
*You could use.. plop bootmanager.. to boot the usb stick (but its probably usb v1 slow)
**if you wish to try it... use the 32bit version
Anyway...just try it... and tell us the result
Hi,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra (Snapdragon 865).I have successfully managed to install and run Windows XP Professional 64-Bit and Xubuntu 18.04 i686 (32-Bit) on my phone with Limbo PC Emulator.
It runs without any issues but it is very slow as Limbo can only use a single core of my 8 core phone. I can't use KVM to use all 8 cores because I want to run x86 or x64 OS and not any arm OS (KVM only works if my device is of the same architecture as the emulated guest).
I just want to run Windows 10 (32 or 64 bit) on my phone with native performance (If possible). Is this possible or have my dreams gone too far? I am ready to even root my phone (or even to risk soft or even hard bricking my phone).
Thanks A Lot (in advance)
@DeveloperWithBrains
With regards to run Windows 10 in Limbo emulator:
Set
CPU-cores to 4
RAM to at least 1 GB ( if 32bit ) and/or to at least 2 GB ( if 64bit )

Can you share how to run it
Explain the full process for me because I want to migrate my system window 10 to window 11.
If your computer supports Windows 11 (you can check it using "Windows PC Health Check App").

You can upgrade using Windows Update. But if you are asking it here, i think you should not doing it by yourself... because you can make some mistakes with your system.
You need UEFI 64 bit Processor and TPM And (PC than support Windows 11)

And also intel cpu greater than 8th gen or Ryzen 3 (3rd gen or up) / Ryzen 5+ (2nd gen or up)
Yes.
I've had it running on my 2600k but didn't like it and went back to 10. Rufus is your friend. To hard finding drivers when I did it. January when I tried. Planning on waiting a couple more builds then trying it again. I mainly want Android Subsystem so I don't have to emulate
If you don't have the hardware to run it, there is a good build called ghost spectre. It's what I use and it's great.
Hi all! My PC has Intel i7-7700k that is not supported to run windows 11 according to their list. Is it possible install and use it without bugs or it's better to upgrade my system now to new CPU?
FYI:

To install Windows 11 22H2 on unsupported hardware, use the Registry workaround with a USB or ISO file, or use the Microsoft workaround.

Yes ,it`s possible to install Win 11, although it comes without warranty that it`ll work flawlessly. Exotic hardware components may lack driver support.

My Sager NP9876 gaming laptop (which I bought in 2017) has an i7-7700K, it's running Windows 11 right now, and quite smoothly too. All my Win10 drivers installed fine on 11, including the Intel chipset driver (which directly interfaces with the CPU and other critical components). But @chrysopra is right, no compatibility/support guarantees. Try 11 first, do a clean install (not upgrade install). If it doesn't run good, you may need a newer CPU.
It's never required to upgrade CPU.
There is a Microsoft-approved hack that should instantly allow you to install Windows 11 on an unsupported processor:
Bypass the CPU check by editing the Windows Registry
Example of an according .REG file
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\PCHC]
"UpgradeEligibility"=dword:00000001
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup\LabConfig]
"BypassCPUCheck"=dword:00000001

and reboot PC afterwards.
Or - much easier and less risky IMO -
Pass related configuration params to Setup.exe

Thank you, installed fresh eleven and testing it now.
just Google for Windows 11 22H2 RUFUS .. the ISO burning method is far much easier for CLEAN install rather than tweaking REGISTRY
Here’s the whole process from start to finish in three easy steps.
1) Download the Windows 11 ISO
2) Edit the Windows Registry to bypass the CPU check
3) Open the ISO in Windows Explorer and launch setup
Hope You Find This Useful,
Peter
