DisplayLink problems. - Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite Questions & Answers

hello good morning colleagues
I hope you can help me with this problem.
Since the same company DisplayLink could not do it.
They were very attentive and asked me for various things, I sent screenshots, videos and logcat.
DisplayLink is a physical product
https://www.amazon.com/-/en/Universal-adapter-Displaylink-compatible-screens/dp/B01CSG7TUC
syncs with an app with the same name
(DisplayLink presenter)
I connect the device via OTG
Simple and with usb hub and charging
I will leave the problem here so that you can visualize what I will explain to you.
1. download Displaylink presenter on my s10 lite
2. Connect my USB hub adapter
3. Connect my charger to the usb hub.
4. Connect Displaylink to the USB hub.
once my S10 detects the DisplayLink, I get a notification on my screen, it asks if I want to start screen recording.
I accept the notification.
up to here all good. the image and audio is on my television. in high definition
I start watching videos or emulators to play.
Within minutes, the image starts to stutter, the audio starts to cut out, and the fps drop from 60 to 20 fps.
But if I open the app again the image returns to normal..
but then the problem repeats when the application left it in the background without closing.
I found out when I have the Displaylink presenter app in split screen with an emulator (any app)
the problem never appears, the screen renders fine, the problem is that when one minimizes Displaylink after 5 minutes it starts crashing.
The Displaylink Support
they told me that
Delete the logcat using ADB.
Here I leave what they asked me.
Firstly we would like you to connect your phone to a PC and clear the log with "adb logcat -c"; then connect the dock and reproduce the issue; then connect a PC again and save the log with "adb logcat -d > logcat.txt". We want to see if there are any system messages that might be relevant.
I hope someone can tell me what is going on. I leave the logcat of what happened in 5 minutes while using Displaylink
(In those 5 minutes the error occurred and I saved the logcat)
Thank you

I withdraw from the s10 lite community.
now I will be in the community s20 FE 5g
There is not much going on for this s20 variant.
Thanks for the help in this section.

[Q] Misterious car dock (car home) icon when cable connected?

Dear Folks!
There is an annoing problem where I need your experience!
I use CM10.1. Some time after fresh flashing, this issue comes over and over again.
When I plug my phone to charge, car dock icon appears in the notification bar.
(I don't have car dock, phone has never sit in car dock candle!)
This icon shows and hides randomly and my phone reboots sometimes.
I don't know why is it happening.
I don't have car dock. I use only a simple USB cable with adaptor.
I tried many roms before, and other cable too, doesn't work.
Please help me, if you can!
* Edit 1 *
I mentioned this icon as "car dock" but it's name is "car home".
* Edit 2 *
Last night I have experienced this issue I found the only way to charge my phone. This method very simple. Restart S3 to recovery mode (TWRP). In recovery mode, phone will charge without problems (w/o reboot and freeze). Morning I disconnected my phone, restarted - afterwards I haven't got this charging problem again! I'm testing now.
Other forum says, you just have to clean microUSB socket. My phone was clear, but it could be a solution too.
Can you just post it one screenshot with this "car dock icon" ? TY

This is exactly what I want to do. But this issue not comes over since morning. I try to rebbot and plug the device on charger and USB cables. I don't know why, but it is now stable. I must wait until it comes over again. I am ready for it, installed screenshot app and logcat.
I just found an external image where you can see that icon too. That is the third icon on the screenshot.

Cant connect to Samsung Smart Led Lamp (GB9000), how to reset/bypass

Hi, i bought a Samsung smart led lamp, that connects using Bluetooth Low energy and MESH network to control color temperature and on/off with android app,( which haven't been updated since last year) it seems like Samsung suddenly killed this project, with no news about it, its a great and useful smart led lamp but the app is not working properly, i had problems pairing in first place as app kept crashing but after i got it to work there was no problems, until i updated my s5 from 5.0 to 5.1
after that the app loops between searching and re requesting connection to device, and every time it loops the lamp dims to show a connection attempt, but nothing else happens, so i cant get to menu, where is a option to re-initialize the lamp, ( which doesn't seem to working as well) there is no buttons on the lamp and no info about "manual reset", i tried a fresh install , a different phone and phone with kitkat, but all just crash and loop, also when i try to pair using Bluetooth menu it gives me a error: incorrect pin or password, but it doesn't ask for one, i tried the "forcestop bt share" etc but nothing seems to work, also no stop form Samsung and the email address they give in app page in play store is not in use.
also the log of crash points to : source method: FindViewUnlocked and stack trace starts with: "java.lang.illegalArgumentExpection:View=android.widget.FrameLayout{fe9f3fd V.E.... .....I. o,o-960,192} not attached to window manager"
So now for the real question: is there a way to manually reset the lamp or bypass the pin/password?
sorry if wrong subforum or etc

S9+ screen stays black, not turning on

Hello XDA!
today the screen on my Galaxy S9+ G965F/DS suddenly stopped working. I can hear sounds while it turns on and while its on if i tap on something, LED is sometimes blinking blue while on, red while charging and green if charged. But the screen stays black no matter what i do.
Tried: Soft reset, with USB connected and not connected. Booting into recovery and odin-mod.
Connected to PC i see s9+ in explorer, while in odin-mod i see the device showing in that mod too.
Unrooted and untoched firmware.
Before I send this device to repair, or try to repair it by myself i would like to hear some suggestions what else i could try before opening dat device.
Cheers and thanks to everyone in advance! :fingers-crossed:
If the screen isn't working in download-mode, there is nothing you can do. Of course, you can open the phone and try to fix the problem, but then you will lose your warranty. The best would be, if you bring it to your operator, or the shop, where you buyed it. The repair should also be free, because you havn't root your phone.
Try to backup your data over the PC. You can also try to start the device, plug it into the charger, and leave it for at least 24 hours. Then it should backup your data to the Samsung cloud.
restarted in recovery and connected phone to pc and found it on adb

@profi_fahrer not afraid to loose warranty since its samsung and yeah everything that i need is already backed up.
potentially clear back incoming
update: another thing i noticed is that haptic feedback/response is like lagging and coming a bit later then it normaly would
Update:
Got myself an USB type c to HDMI adapter to check if gpu-unit is working... and it is.
So atm I am thinking about opening the device and looking into the problem.
As far as I understand this, failure could be in the display flex cable. Or the display itself. But since its an AMOLED and Pixels are drawn separately from each other..
Checked all sensors, touch, fingerprint reader, all 3 cameras.. Everything is working as should. So weird anyway.

Using TikTok on Your Laptop

Using TikTok on Your Laptop
Scrolling through your TikTok feed can be a fun and whimsical escape from daily stress and hassle. However, holding a phone for an extended period of time can harm your posture, and cause discomfort. Fortunately, Huawei phone and laptop users can now enjoy TikTok on their laptops, for healthier and more comfortable viewing.
First enable NFC on your phone.

Then tap the NFC area on your unlocked phone against the NFC tag on the laptop.
Your phone will vibrate and display a dialog box asking to confirm the connection. Confirm the connection on your phone, then do so on your laptop.
Your phone screen will appear on your laptop instantaneously, as if by magic, and you'll be able to navigate within phone apps with newfound ease, thanks to your laptop's mouse.
From there, you can open TikTok on your laptop, to view and scroll through your feed to your heart's content – or keep it on in the background while you're getting some work done, directly replying to phone messages on the laptop, or even dragging and dropping files between the phone and your laptop!

Now you can also use tiktok downloader tool for downloading tiktok videos without watermark on our laptop.
Is it like replica of mobile to laptop and using the Tiktok on Replica Screen?
Do we need to install any tird party app to run?

I agree, surfing on TikTok using a laptop is very comfortable and doesn't tire our bodies.

Using a Wired Connection to Enable Multi-screen Collaboration with EMUI 10.1

Using a Wired Connection to Enable Multi-screen Collaboration with EMUI 10.1
The release of P40 series phone has come with the unveiling of a new and improved Multi-screen Collaboration in EMUI 10.1. The new feature allows users to communicate via phone apps, from a laptop, with the benefit of the laptop's camera and speaker, and open phone files directly with the laptop programs.
Today, we are going to introduce a new method for connecting your phone and laptop, for easy access to Multi-screen Collaboration.
Connecting a phone and laptop has traditionally been achieved through three different methods: tapping, scanning a QR code, and placing the phone close to the laptop. Although wireless connections are most convenient, they also require extra steps to initiate. For example, using the tap to connect feature, requires tap the NFC area on your phone against the Huawei Share icon or Magic-link icon on the laptop. Scanning the QR code to connect or placing the phone near the laptop to connect, both require first opening the PC Manager program.
To further simplify cross-device connections, EMUI 10.1 has introduced an all-new wired connection, which only requires a standard USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 cable to initiate.

After connecting the phone and laptop with the cable, a dialog box will pop up on the phone, asking you whether you'd like to connect the devices using Multi-screen Collaboration. Simply confirm the connections to have the phone screen appear instantaneously on the laptop. Could hardly be easier, right?
Better yet, you can even charge your devices during Multi-screen Collaboration, which means that you'll never have to worry about losing the connection when you go to charge your phone.
