Hey there.
I have a X96Q TV-Box connected to a 4k-TV.
No matter if I set to 4k in the settings,
wm size gives me 1280x720.
If I set the size manually with
wm size 1920x1080
the resolution on the tv changes but
wm size gives me
Physical size: 1280x720
Override size: 1920x1080
Whats the problem here? I tried diferent Screens/TV but the result is the same.
Thanks

Hi All,
I currently own a viewsonic vpad 10s tablet. It's currently on 1024x600.. is it possible to have a software hack or other to change the resolution to 1280x like the xoom?
The short answer is no.
The longer answer is...kind of.

OK, and now the even longer answer.
There is no way to increase the resolution to 1280 x 800. Our display is an AU OPTRONICS B101AW06. Look it up on the net & you'll find max resolution is 1024 x 600. What BK553 is speaking about is a change in text DPI. You can see this in Windows where you can change the DPI. Manufacturers normally set the DPI to give the user the best readability but not necessarily the highest DPI. If you change the DPI, text & icons will become smaller (or larger depending on if you increase or decrease the DPI). To see what effect LCDDensity Changer may have, see the attached picture. Icons are smaller & text is smaller, giving the illusion of higher resolution. Notice how the backbround is the same while the text & icons are smaller.
Again, you can not change the resolution...videos, pictures etc will always displayed at a max resolution of 1024 x 600.
By the way, check this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=864338&highlight=lcd and you will see that atleast in Dec 2010 there used to be a field in build.prop that you could change to change the DPI. I looked for it in mine (I'm running Calkulin+Clemsyn Combo v6) and that field no longer appears.

I use blade and spare parts to tweak the dpi. don't think you can get up to 1280 with any software though.
Hello everyone.
I couldn't find any answers related to the the screen resolution change of Bluestacks for Windows.
With changing registry entries it is possible to change the size to greater resolutions, for example FHD 1920x1080...
BUT:
Window and full screen will use FHD but the content is STRETCHED from a smaller resolution with gives text and some graphics an unsharp view.
Is it anyhow possible to get a REAL resolution change without stretching?
BR
No answers?

Hi,
Sorry for my bad english.
I use Remix OS on a gigabyte Bace-3150 Barbone
With 1920 * 1080, Remix OS runs very well.
The whole must now run on an IIyama 86 "TouchScreen with UHD.
With 3840 * 2160, the image becomes very small and slow.
Where can I change the resolution in the Remix OS?
1920 × 1080
2560 × 1440
3200 × 1800
thx bye
ProjektC
OK Ok, I've found it now
Wm size 1920x1080
Is the DPI set correctly?
Is this the right way ?
Hello,
I have a minor annoyance with my monitor on Remix Os for pc. I have searched but could not find anything for fixing this.
My native aspect ratio for my monitor is 5:4 but it supports 16:9 (on all resolutions except one which is 5:4 native unfortunately)
When I change the resolution on remix I get a HUGE letterbox effect where the picture is merely a race stripe down the middle. The native aspect ratio warps images just enough to bother me. I would love to fix this because it is a multitouch monitor. On Windows and Linux I have the option to select out of a list my monitor supports. (1280x1024 5:4, 1920x1080 16:9) On Android/remix I manually input them but I can't find anywhere to change the aspect ratio. Would anyone know how to change this?
Any help would be appreciated
Hi,
Im trying to setup a X96 mini to my liking. I connected it directly to a 24" 16:10 monitor. Im not aiming to play movies or anything like that, but want to display music sheets as pdf via the adobe reader app in 16:10 ratio.
It seems the box always forces a 16:9 ratio, as this is what the monitor is showing (FHD). I was able to change the resolution via a command prompt app. I tried different resolutions like 1920x1200, 1280x800 or even 1920x1080, but anything different then 1280x720 squeezes the image to non-fullscreen. I wouldnt mind a lower resoultion, but atm I have no idea how to output a 16:10 resolution at all.
Any ideas are highly appreciated, thanks!
