Mi redmi note 9s got stuck on black screen while capturing photo, it almost week passed it's not turning on. But when ever i used charger white led blinks only although during stucking to black screen it was 80% percent charge.
First try to reboot your device if it is bricked by try to do some unstable thing on it then wiping all data will be the last option

so my battery was fully empty now.. i even pressed the power button 100 times after the battery was empty, to make sure all current is out of the phone.
plugged in charger... after 10 seconds phone start itself (after viewing the picture of empty battery) and elephone logo shows short and then back to showing picture of empty batterie cycle. After some minutes, and battery is loaded a little bit, elephone logo cycles again.
So rest in piece my p9000, i can nothing, i cant do anything from my pc because its only starting for like 5 seconds, i cant shut it down because of that and i cant get in factory mode
i am so pissed right now
just wanted to install the new update, everything worked fine like all the times before that and now my phone is ready for the trashcan.
Is there any way to reset the software without getting in factory mode?

the phone turns on and off in a cycle of 5 seconds, so that wont work
and i cant stop that cycle.
even if battery is 0% (i even press power button many times so really its drained out). If i recharge it, the cycle starts again without me doing anything. The Power button is not broken or something. it all began after i started new ota update and the phone rebooted like "mkitty" has the same problem it seems
Same for me, I have no idea how to restart my phone. And i dont want to loose all data I have on it.
have you tried to hold the volume up and power at the same time during the restart process to try and force recovery?

Hello,
Yes . I have tried that.
I have a list of options that come up on the screen.
I have tried them apart from the wipe data/factory reset.
But it is still the same result.
Thank you for help.
Any more ideas?

It said something about wifi and audio update. I followed the instructions as per a previous update (which worked OK). I never took notice of any version numbers etc.
I have all I need to flash a new rom to the bricked phone but when I connect the off phone to my pc the usb not recognised comes up and I cannot flash the rom to the phone. and yes I have the mediatek vcom drivres install. Why did I buy a Chinese phone elephone p9000 please stay well away from it. on paper is a great phone but in reality does not perform in any sense, battery only lasts 7 hours if I was lucky camera crap, gps works most of the time all that ram and power and t struggles with some videos o dear god. never again. now I cannot even read what I have on the sd cos is formatted for the phone.

Its actually a great phone. Do you have twrp installed and can you get access to it? You could always boot into twrp transfer over the ROM and install it from there. If you have installed the vcom drivers then when the USB not recognized alert pops up. Go to settings and device manager. Right click the unknown device and click let me pick driver. You should be able to install it from there
The only thing I can suggest is to take the back panel of and unplug the battery. There videos on how to do this if you search YouTube or the forum. Effectively you perform a hard reset of the phone.
If and when you do get it working just twrp installed and do a backup of the whole phone working before performing any future upgrades or Rom changes. Its just better safe then sorry.
thenk you very much for that
The problem is that when I connect the phone on the off to the pc starts again the cycling through the elephone logo so the pc sees the phone for a few seconds in which does not recognises it and then is like the phone goes off until the next cycle so no time to go to device manager and install manually. but thank you for the comment.
removing the battery will void the warranty. I had the phone only since may.
It's unlikely it really matters. Your phone seller not going to take it back or fix it for free just because it's bootlopping. Well they may so just ask them. If you can't get it into recovery then a battery disconnect or contact your seller are your options
thank you

I can get it into recovery mode but I haven't got any software install in the sd card to do a recovery that is why I thought my only option was the sp flashing tool and the room which I have

Well in that case all you need is a stock rom and yes just flash them with sp tools and it should start booting again. The fact you can get to recovery is a good sign.

sorry for all of this and thank you very much for your help but when I put the phone in recovery mode by pressing the down volume and power key and connect the phone to the pc it is not recognized by the pc so I can't flash the room
Got this Xiaomi from gearbest with miui 8.2, y unlock bootloader, install twrp and flash to miui 8.5 stable. Everything was fine, almost a week since i flash, install apps, wifi, calls, youtube, charge everything seems ok. But today he was no showing me nothing on screen, black, sounds and the system to be fine because i can hear when i touch icons or setting etc. I restart and turn off nothing, one time show me logo mui but just once. I try to enter bootloader menu and twrp as well and black screen still present. On the fastboot cmd menu it appears, but no screen, even i turn off and charge to see if the battery shows and nothing, it charge but not shows the icon.
Is a problem of factory or software (flash twrp)?

If software was the cause, it will be easily fix after resetting/clean flashing.
Since the phone still detecting from PC, use this to format/clean flash your device through fastboot and see if it fix.
On the other hand, those problems you've indicated seems to be a serious hardware issue (LCD/Display related one). Still got that warranty? ye? You could bring the phone to nearest xiaomi service centre and have it checked.
hello everyone,
my redmi note 3 pro special (kate) with locked bootloader and always original roms (never modified) has been stopped for about 2 years due to inactivity, but before it had always worked great!
wednesday I tried to turn on my kate.
the device went into continuous bootloop. whereupon I tried to enter fastboot, activate edl and flash with miflash a whole series of roms, from the last, to 9.6, 9.5, 6.7 and all those that can still be found, but always with the same disappointing result: the device makes the first start (sometimes forcing it with a restart because it remained enchanted for hours in the initial animation after the "mi" logo), but immediately during the initial configuration of the so returns to restart without allowing use.
whereupon, I decide to open the back of the redmi and disconnect the battery overnight, in the hope that this could solve any problems.
but unfortunately nothing...
after yet another flash and I start, I can't even start this morning: when I press the power button the fixed initial logo "mi" starts, goes off and starts again ... I'm practically in infinite bootloop ...
I only need the kate as a forklift, but I would be sorry to have to throw it away completely.
does anyone have a suggestion to get out of this troubles?

Hi guys, today I flahsed xiaomi.eu rom for this device, everything was great until I had to reboot
After I did so the Redmi logo appears for a second or less and then it just turns off by itself
If I connect the charger or PC it keeps spawning the Redmi logo as (I believe) it tried to display the battery icon logo
I can't get into fastboot or recovery as it shuts down so fast. And I can't seem to keep it for at least 5 seconds to get in bootloop
Here's a video
If anybody has a fix I'd really appreciate and if there is a price let me know (but under 7$ please, otherway I could just message a guy selling EDL Fixes)

When trying to enter the fastboot or bootloader mode manually, with the pressing the power button and vol less, does it do the same?
I don't see the padlock on the boot, did you unlock the bootloader before flashing it?

Hi, my Xiaomi Redmi 8a got stuck on the boot log after about 2 years and hard reset didn't help and flashing the firmware didn't help either. I recommend taking the phone to a repair shop.
