Bypassed detected root, but now Banking Apps See ist again - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Good morning,
so I just rooted this phone and then proceeded forward to get SafetyNet and Google Play protection.
Some Banking Apps still detected root and I couldnt usw them, but after hiding Magick, installing Zygisk, checked them in this block list, and installed Shamiko, everything worked, bypassed all.
Then I installed other root Apps, modules like LSPposed (hid it), uninstalled System-Apps and wanted to usw Banking again.
Some still work, Apps like Netflix also, but the three hardest detecting Banking Apps dont anymore.
I uninstalled the modules, root Apps etc. again, unhid and hid again Magisk, de- and rechecked them in this blocking list but they still detect root now.
What to do?

Install shamiko first of all. This hides lsposed and leat the modules work. Secondly make sure you have zygisk enabled and had rebooted and set the dentist to include your banking app.

Hide Magisk, RootCloak alt.?

Hello, I just flashed a ROM that allowed me to utilize Magisk but it's very new to me. Is there a way to hide root with Magisk from certain apps that block rooted phones? I have Xposed installed but RootCloak doesn't seem to work, I tried checking Hide Magisk in the settings but no luck. I'm trying to use Vudu's disc to digital option, which seems to kick an error when root's detected. I got around this with RootCloak on my last ROM, I'm hoping there's an alternative. Thanks in advance.
Magisk hide should work for banking apps now. Please update and see.

Uninstall Xposed first, then update Magisk.
Safetynet detects Xposed, that's why you won't be able to use banking apps when Xposed is installed.

S-pushTAN still detects root, even with magisk hide

Hello!
I recently activated Online Banking for my Bankaccount. They use pushTAN with their own build app. I used xposed and SuperSU, but decided to flash a new ROM with only magisk. My current device is the Huawei P8lite with OmniROM and magisk 13.3. My device passes SafetyNET and it says certified at the Play Store. I checked magisk hide for the pushTAN app and the normal Sparkasse app. The Sparkasse app works, but it still says that my device is rooted. The pushTAN app however wont start. It says, that the app was closed and opens a website in chrome saying that my device is unsecure because I have root. I just flashed this ROM and I have no other root requiring apps installed. I've uploaded both apps to my G-Drive, so maybe someone can look and see why it still sees root. the pushTAN app is more important.
pushTAN.apk
Sparkasse.apk
Soo, I used the phone of my brother now. After getting my TAN I was able to set up the normal Sparkassen App. It works fine. But the pushTAN app still doesn't work on my device. I tried another different ROM now, but still no difference.
Any news on that?
I have the exact same problem. Axon 7 here, rooted via Magisk. Magisk is set to "hide" from pushTAN app and also "hide from various detections" in settings.
pushTAN crashes and redirects to a webpage hinting that i have rooted my device.
Same issue for me :/ once i run Magisk-uninstaller pushtan app works immediately
I can approve: it works if you temporarly uninstall magisk, without? uninstalling the root patch.
Other way would be to install s-pushtan into an emulator on your PC, like this:
Download S-pushTAN on PC with MEmu
Download S-pushTAN on PC with MEmu Android Emulator. Enjoy playing on big screen. pushTAN is the correct procedure for anyone who wants to make mobile banking.
www.memuplay.com
But, I would NOT trust a download that packs app and emulator into a single package. This massively increases the likelyhood of a special hack applied that spies on s-pushtan. I recommend finding any plain Android emulator then install S-pushtan from Play store. This might be more difficult, though.
Would be a joke if it really worked, since S-pushtan is all about using different devices for login and transaction authorization. This would be broken if you use an emulator on your PC. So it would make the transaction even more insecure than a rooted phone.
I'll have a look if there is an official, viable alternative to s-pushtan.

Magisk

Hello friends I installed and rooted my phone by magisk, but some apps like Samsung pass, secure folder, Samsung flow don't work on my phone now. it says your phone is rooted the app not run for security reasons. I checked the app in magisk hide but the apps still not work, any suggestions?
on Magisk setting click " Hide Magisk Manager "
also add the apps that detect root on "Magisk Hide"
also you can try downloading Magisk Module that hide being rooted it might work

Banking apps issues

I recently unlocked my bootloader and flashed the latest xiaomi.eu MIUI 12 stable rom for my pocophone and flashed magisk for root access as well. Everything was fine and dandy untill i attempted to open my banking app, it greeted me with a messege saying that i don't have minimum security even though my phone passes all safetynet tests, i don't know where the problem is and i wish to solve it without having to switch back to stock.
Please help.
Have u tried renaming magisk manager and hiding it from banking apps. Worked for me.

Use magisk hide and hide it from your banking apps. If that doesn't work, hide it from google apps too.

Google Pay "Phone does not meet security requirements" despite passing SafetyNet check

I have a rooted (magisk 24.3) Nord N10 5G, I have enabled zygota and installed the safetynet fix from github.
Using "yet another safetynet checker" app, my phone went from fail to pass in both SafetyNet checks.
I've also installed Snapchat and verified that it works (supposedly it shouldn't if you don't pass safetynet?).
However, Google Pay says "Phone does not meet security requirements"
So... is there any way to make it work?

Make sure you have Magisk Props Config, Universal Safetynet fix, and if those don't work try Shamiko https://t.me/magiskalpha
Download the latest Release.zip from telegram and install through Magisk. Then you'll have to enable the Denylist in the settings and then select Google Pay app and all your Google services and apps etc. Afterwards untick the "enforce denylist" since Shamiko will enforce your denylist now. Shamiko uses the Magisk list I believe but you must have it disabled after you're done selecting your apps like I said above.

Thank you.
For some reason, it did not occur to me that I should Denylist the Google apps. After I've added GPay to the list, it now passes all security checks., and I don't need any props config or Shamiko, just the Safetynet fix is enough!

Okay I'm pleased to hear you've fixed it. Essentially, you'd only need Shamiko if you're having problems with certain apps like bank apps and things of that nature. Glad you can use GPay now. Enjoy your phone.
Is anyone one else having any issues getting GPay to work on the latest 11.0.10 security patch by chance?
I think I may have just done something out of order. I have 2 Nord N10 5Gs, one is on 11.0.0 and working fine, and I'm trying to setup the other one on 11.0.10 ... and I'm currently having issues.
I actually am able to get safetynet to pass the checks fine, but sometimes GPay seems to still insist that the "Phone does not meet security requirements". I even have zygisk enabled and GPay and services blocked.
One thing though, Google Play Services never stays checked in the Deny List for me. Does anyone else experience this too?
In general, it seems that with the latest security patch, i have to freeze the Magisk app otherwise several apps seem to detect it now, even with zygisk, hide, and renaming the magisk app package.
EDIT: The answer was too simple. MagiskHidePropsConfig, and spoof a valid device profile.
