Srcreenshot quick launch changed from opening in gallery to opening in Canon print. Infuriating. I cannot find how to change it back to opening in gallery in any settings (screenshot or print).

If you don't use the Canon Print app, try if you can turn it off.

Consider using the recommended on XDA, MiXplorer with the appropriate plug-in and forget about the gallery forever.
Personally, I use a tandem of Total Commander (Developer version) and an old version of QuickPic 3.6.2.

This still isn't helping me change that Canon Print has taken over the launch after a screenshot.

Despite my sincerest intentions, I have not been able to change the settings in Canon Print to take control of the display of the Screenshots folder in the Gallery.
Maybe in the app settings you need to delete the Gallery data to refresh its settings
in per app advanced settings, clear defaults

i've found app at the market, which creates a shortcut of 3d gallery which se had hidden. Also it's possible to do it with launcher pro or whatever other launcher.
Works fine ,but when i'm trying to launch camera shortcut which is located at the top right corner of 3d gallery it crashes. Any ideas?
P.S. is it possible to install mediascape on x8?

How to refresh 3d gallery, if I move or delete files via sd explorer, 3d gallery won't update. Only way to refresh gallery is to restart phone. Any other way?

How to unmount/mount without having backcover opened?
EDIT: Found better solution. Just rescan sd with app from the market.
But it's also pretty annoying. Any more ideas?
For me it is updated automatically, but I delete through 3D-gallery, and to a picture box through a cable usb

Actually, it is updated automatically for me too. If I download a pic, it appears in the gallery without a re-scan.
This is a really cool app, it looks awsome... too bad that it takes a while to load, and that it doesnt support one finger zoom from X8 gallery app.

Can u upload apk of the version which u r using?
Maybe my gallery isn't updating because i've ticked that default app for viewing pictures is 3d gallery?

I simply lay down images on a flash card, I disconnect usb, I start 3d-galery from the menu, some seconds it think, and everything, the loaded images appear there, without phone reboot
Some1 who has properly working 3dgallery apk, share it.

It should start in whatever mode you were on when you last exited the app. At least, it does for me on a stock ROM.
Yes it is. If you are using custom luncher like Apex you can do like this. Add (Same way like adding widget)-> shortcut -> action -> camera -> video camera. And you should get icon on your desktop that will directly open video camera. There are at last few launchers that have such possibility, I know Apex for sure, because I checked it while before good luck

Only Microsoft Camera is shown as a "Default camera app" option.

It does not work on HTC 8x. That's for sure. It may be a different story on Lumias, not sure.

Can someone port the Scrolling Screen Capture feature over from the N5 to the N4?
also is it possible to Port the Double Tap to open the Camera while Screen is off/with a secure Lockscreen from the N5/S6 to the N4? I don't want to use Home2 Button.

I too wanna port of an app called "Smart Select"【https://youtu.be/OWcAeMXUuS4】 in Samsung S8 which can capture a small rectangular portion, capture in different shapes (predefined or using lasso tool), LONG CAPTURE and a GIF CAPTURE with various pro editing options.

The scrolling capture is available by just update your Smart select apk. I'm using 2.0.53 version and it works pretty well. It also will add the gif capture feature. And if you want to scroll capture without taking out s pen to capture with Screen Write, just enable the setting in Display>Enable Edit After Capture. If the option not available, just edit in system/etc/floating_feature and find line with Edit After Capture and change the word FALSE to TRUE
Note: You need to update the Smart select first.

I am using v2.0.55 and there is no scrolling capture feature.... Or do we mean different things...? I mean for example a long screenshot, a screenshot made by scrolling down and capuring everything on the way.

I'm Looking for an app which can detect.screenshot capture (or can take screenshot itself by a quick seeings tile) and automatically open the edit section with doodle, crop and share.
Flashed custom rom on my RN3 and missing this feature from miui.

Problem about this port is it doesn't open the markup page by default (we need to share to markup), which I want but I know is probably not possible by only a port. Probably some magisk module can do it.
Also a share action is must for this kind of app, so that I don't need to open gallery and search for it.
I'm currently using this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=pro.capture.screenshot I use the same method of sharing the screenshot to this app, editing the photo and sharing to whatever app. This app works better and has more feature than the Google port.
Though I wanted a more "integrated" one.
