Sooooo a while back I really screwed up my OnePlus N20 5G (CPH2459). Currently, it will turn on, but after one try at the OnePlus logo it reboots to recovery. I can get it to go into fastboot mode but ADB doesn't detect it.
It was rooted using Magisk.
My first question is, does anyone have the full firmware for CPH2459?
And...
What can I do to get ADB to recognize the phone so I can flash the firmware?
Ok yes I'm using the red cable
I was using the driver's from the website.
I was trying to use rom2box.
I tried.
ADB won't recognize it because of the problem if not booting past the logo and going straight into recovery. Fastboot didn't recognize in that mode either.
Everything leads back to my issue of needing firmware for the CPH2459 model.
I figure if I just flash stock it'll be fine, right? But I can't find full stock...
I know adb and fastboot are different. But I'm in fastboot mode right now and I can't get the phone to show up. Also when I hold only the power button, it vibrates, shows the OnePlus logo restarts on its own, vibrates again, shows the OnePlus logo again, then loads ColorOS Recovery

Hey guys,
So really in need of a little help. My OnePlus X started acting strange when it refused to take charge when it was booted into OS (Lineage). However, I noticed that if the phone was off, it would boot immediately upon connecting a cable. So it seemed as if nothing was wrong with the port or the cable (tried various cables and chargers). A little more digging revealed that the phone charges in Fastboot mode. Anyway, I decided to factory reset it and for some reason it was stuck in a boot loop.
I then tried to restore back to stock using Mega Unbrick Guide which worked in the past. Now my problem is that its stuck in fastboot, wont boot into the OS. I can boot to the recovery and fastboot. In recovery when I choose Install from local, i get no browser to search the SD for zip files, nor does the phone detect for me to use adb sideload.
Any ideas as to why this is so?
Thanks!
I'm currently having issue with my phone, Redmi Note 3 Pro Kenzo(snapdragon 650) charged my phone overnight after completely drained it and the next morning i realized that it's on boot loop.
I tried dozens of method since the past 72 hours, none of them works. My phone run on stock miui 8 rom, didn't turn on the dev mode/debugging so basically just a pure stock out of the box phone with 0 tweaks.
It loops without the android logo below it. Just the MI logo in the middle of the screen and it reboot every 10-15 seconds or so.
I am able to run on fastboot mode (volume down+power on button) then i hook it up to my computer, used a patch to boot it on EDL mode and flash the stock fastboot rom using MiFlash and it states that i have successfully flash the rom on the phone. But when i turn it on, it loops on the MI logo again..
Tried dozens of method, flashed the emmc file and etc but none of them works.
Even mod on xiaomi forum gave up on me and ended up saying that i've roasted my logic board lol
But I read a thread on someone who had the same problem with mine but he have unlock his bootloader and get his phone back to life by flashing the twrp recovery.
When i try to hook up my phone with command prompt, running on fastboot mode it detects my phone when use the "fastboot devices" but when i use the "adb" command it stated that my computer didn't detect my device.
any thoughts?
rlly need some help here guys :/
Lg g5 dead while ota update installation.
Everything I plug in a charger or press power button, lg logo appears and then a black screen with an error on top left corner.
After 1-2 seconds phone would restart and goes through this never ending loop.
Phnoe does boot into the recovery mode and except that I'm not sure about anything.
Got it checked at multiple locations but still no luck.
Had this phone laying around for over a year now in same condition.
Don't know what can be done.
Please help!
I'm not sure about the model number but in the inside of back door and on the charging port brick it says Ls992.
hmmm... if i were you, i will just go to flash TWRP recovery and then i custom rom OR even stock rom. I mean, your rom seems completely vanished, so just go to the many guides there are out there, to unlock bootloader, and flash TWRP and a rom
You can probably still boot it into fastboot or download mode, you could try flashing TWRP recovery in fastboot, or the stock firmware .KDZ in download mode.
Yes, fortunately you are only soft bricked. You can boot into download mode and reflash with lgup.
Dear Community,
I am a real noob when it comes to Android, flashing ROM, root and so on.
I got a Oneplus here where supposedly root rights are on it and another ROM.
Current problem, as soon as I turn it on it hangs when booting. (Bootloop - red dot with 2 running white dots)
I already tried it with power + volume+. Unfortunately unsuccessful.
Is it correct when I press Power + Volume- that you get into fastboot?
I can't get into the recovery mode either.
I would like to get the device running, but without root rights, OEM lock and the Oxygen OS from Oneplus.
So far my attempts to get it running have been unsuccessful.
Update: after 4h in the bootloop, it booted successfully. *yeah*
So how i can see, if the phone is rooted and how can i lock it?
I tried it with adb, i can find the phone with adb devices.
Then adb reboot fastboot, after that i tried to find it with fastboot devices but then he finds nothing more. the drivers are installed. also fastboot oem lock doesnt work, because the phone is not found.
A strange problem. I flashed 18.1 and it seems to work (I can boot into a minimal system) but now I can't get into TWRP Recovery even though I used it to flash 18.1 in the first place. The phone powers up fine but when I hold down Vol- and power, it does not boot into TWRP but boots into Lineagos. If I try ADB, then it sees the phone but it's offline and I've tried all the tricks to get it back online.
I also notice that when the android on his back is displayed, then Download Mode at the bottom is indicating Disabled.
Any ideas, or is it completely stuffed?
