Best Way to Remove Pre-installed Apps?

Hey Guys.
So as I have said in title, what is the best way to remove some of the apps that were included with the phone? Specifically I wish remove CoPilot trial, the outdated Facebook app and the outdated Windows Live apps.
I searched the boards but I didn't really find what I was looking for. Thanks guys.
The only way now is to flash a custom ROM. Someone may come up with a differentsolution some day, but not yet.

[Q] Application Lock

Hello all,
I just recently upgraded to a Lumia 800 from an E51 and N8. With Symbian I was able to lock any application that I wanted to keep private. I've heard that Android has something similar that allows you to hide apps. I have searched Google for about 1 week with no success. I've also searched this forum but perhaps the keywords I chose were not accurate.
Is there a similar application for the Windows Mobile phones?
My apologies if this has been answered before.

Stef unfortunately there is no such application for Windows Phone yet, and I doubt there will be one as this would involve changes to the system files that would make it far more complicated than it is on Android and Symbian.
This is due to Windows Phone being much more 'closed' than either of the above two operating systems, which are both open source...
That's unfortunate. Thank you very much though!

WA+ & GBWA being detected as Android/Agent.AP

Hi Guys,
I was thinking of installing WA+ or GBWA because of the cool features that they have, what's the difference between them btw?, in my s7 but I get a notification that they are not safe to install because of this-
https://home.mcafee.com/VirusInfo/VirusProfile.aspx?key=9609498
Now I know that a virus cannot technically harm a phone's OS. But I am worried about WA+ or GBWA sending stuff to remote servers/numbers in the background as mentioned in the link. Is there any way/app to stop these kinda apps sending info in the background to the servers/numbers and work as intended for non rooted phones?
Thanks
Any help?
Bump.

Disable package APK does disable services?

Hi everyone!
First of all, sorry for my bad English..
My question is: if I disable a package, do I disable all related services?
I'll explain better: if I disable the svoice APK, do I also disable the dependant services? I'm using root uninstall, which under the APK details list also the services..

The related services should not be disabled since other apps may be dependent on them as well.
Just disabling the app should be enough. What disabling does is prevents the app from launching and the device acts as if it weren't there.
I hope I had explained this okay via text...
Good Luck!

ok, that was what i was thinking.. but! let's say there is a service that an app uses, but it starts independetly (eg at startup) and it uses resources.. one of the many, the "protection" service of samsung galaxy s7, which is used by the app itself, but starts even if the app is not used.
in that case, should be better to use a specific app for shut down services?
