Hi there, it's the first time ever I'm creating a new thread. Pardon me if I mess up. I have two cell phones, one is Nokia 5230 pretty old feature phone which I'm using for the company and my personnal phone, which is a Note 2.
In addition of this, I'm using Sync in my car, obviously.
I'd like to have both phones connected to Sync but that's not possible at the same time. I had an earpiece which did that, but my car doesn't.
Now I'd like to control my Nokia remotely with my Note 2 the same way my Sync controls my Note 2 (place call, answer call, forward the voice). I'd like to use my Nokia only to have a line.
I know computers can do that (I could have my laptop control my Note 2 and getting the voice) so I'm quite sure my Note 2 could do the same with my Nokia 5230. On top of that, I'd really like my Note 2 to get the calls of my Nokia and redirect them to my Sync, this would be heaven!!
I'd like to avoid rooting my Note 2 but I could root it if necessary. I'm not a noob and I did the search to find one prog (Bluetooth remote control (lite) by ShakeJ) which is not working for me. He couldn't connect to my Nokia
If someone has a solution, he/she's my angel!!

Can someone assist me in seeing if this phone has built in support for Work Profiles (required for Android for Work using Google's MDM)? Google has an app that will tell you if the phone supports Work Profiles. Trying to find a device that is dual sim, with LTE ability with either sim (obviously only one at a time), that also has support for Android for Work. The Zenfone 2 supports it, but only has LTE ability on one sim. The Zenfone 2 Laser has LTE on both sims, but doesn't support Work Profiles. I've discovered the P8 Lite does support it via the Marshmallow beta, but I'd rather get this device.
Google's app in the Play Store to use to test is: Test DPC. You would only need to proceed through the setup to where you either get a message saying the phone doesn't support work profiles, or stop at the place where the next step is "Encrypt." If you get to the latter place, the phone supports Work Profiles -- at this point you can just cancel out and no setup or changes will take place.
If you aren't familiar with Android for work: http://arstechnica.com/information-t...es-to-android/
Appreciate any help.

Thanks so much for checking that on your phones. One more question -- if you have experience using dual sim on this phone, what is the behavior of when an MMS is send to the sim that is not set for LTE? Is it the normal behavior of getting an sms notification with download button (then pressing download, which makes to phone switch to the other sim)? If it works something like this, that will be all the info I need to make the decision to buy the Honor 5x
Again, appreciate you using your time to assist me.

Honor 5X supports dual standby, so you can receive calls and texts on both numbers.
The Dual SIM Management settings let you pick the primary card for 4G/3G, default mobile data, default calls/messages for 3rd party apps, and call forwarding settings.
Thanks. I've not used a Dual Standby devices before (or DSDA device for that matter). If an MMS (something that requires data) comes in on the line that I don't have data enabled for, does a notification still come through to let me know a MMS is waiting"? My understanding is that this is how it works on a DSDA device (Zenfone 2 Laser, for example), but want to make sure DSDS works similarly (apart from not being able to take calls on both sims at the same time).
Hello,
I have an issue with my redmi note 4 (global version). I used an app, hidden settings apk to try and adjust the band so I could use another network on it. Now my sim 1 has stopped working ever since and the app has no way of resetting to default. Please is there a way I can resolve this and get my phone working again.
Hello,
It will be very useful to add the anti lost feature like on Mi Band 2 (without using alarm option which drain phone battery).
You may answer "it does not have hardware support for such feature".
But of course that it is possible by firmware ! , as far as today when the Mi band 4 looses the connection, it displays a"Bluetooth" icon. You (skilled developer) have just to use this icon to trig a message and vibration, by adding this in Mi Band 4 custom Firmware:
IF Bluetooth icon displayed during "x" seconds THEN
vibrate;
display " connection lost"
End IF
Is there anyone who can do that on a custom frimaware ?
You might have more luck on geekdoing.com forum, they provide custom firmwares for Mi Band 2 and 3. Though there seem to be no custom firmware for MB4 as of now (and maybe never will).
no but maybe you can do it with Tasker. I'm waiting for my MB4 to be delivered and I'll try as soon I'll get it.
Hi there,
as i can see there will be the Xiaomi Mi Band 5 Global Version with NFC and the Xiaomi Amazfit X has also NFC included, but it should be not aviable outside China.
" the NFC feature will not be activated for oversea users even for later batches due to its complications upon verifications. "
Is there a way to activate it anyway?
The NFC hardware is in the watch, so whats the reason why its not possible to use?
