There's a built in tool for screen recording on Samsung Galaxy phones. Using the s-pen there's a button on the recording toolbar for showing a pointer instead of the very small and almost invisible circle, when hovering the s pen without touching the screen. I was at first happy since I'm recording howto guides. But I don't find it useful since the pointer turnes into the standard small almost invincible circle when hovering a link or a button. Very confusing and it looks unprofessional. Also it's not consistent between apps. I don't need the pointer to change on mouse over. And if it changes, I want it to be visible and with the same style. Is there a workaround for this? I already tried Good lock s-pen settings app but with the same on mouse over result. In the Galaxy app store it looks like I want it to: The pointer does not change on pointer over button.

Thanks! I just installed it and am liking it a lot! One thing that could be better would be more/custom gestures; I really like swiping in from the right, but it can hinder simple touch presses on the right-side of the screen

Looking for an android keyboard that has a wide spacebar. If you look at a decent physical PC keyboard or typewriter, the spacebar will be ~ 75% of the keyboard width.
Android keyboards are half of that. They sacrifice the spacebar so that they can shoehorn in more extraneous keys. That works okay if you only type with your thumbs, but if you have any touch typing skills it just leads to constant typos from hitting adjacent keys beside the narrow spacebar.
One could adapt to a narrow spacebar.. but that would build badit habits that impair your typing on PC keyboards. I am looking for an on screen keyboard that has a much wider spacebar. Or even better.. does anyone have an idea what code specifies key sizing (to mod an existing keyboard)
Any ideas?

Have you tried Swype? It's the only keyboard I use, across several devices and learning to do it is not that hard and it is very fast

Link to app on Google Play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.myscript.smartnote
This looks like a very promising note taking app. Watch the video on their Google Play site.
Unfortunately, it is showing as incompatible to the Note 10.1 (2014). I have contacted the developer, and I suggest you do the same to nudge them.
[Edit] Play store installation is working now. Their support team is awesome, and respond very promptly.
Yes, promising but some things to be ironed out including sync across devices and conversion of handwriting to type. Main advantage I found over a note is the resizing and merging of paragraphs.
Btw, installed fine on my Note 10.1 2014. Had some problems after installation as the ink kept vanishing. Was resolved by turning off forced GPU rendering under developer options.
Conversion of hand writing to type font is working fine for me. You need to activate it on the panel where you select pen color.
I wish there is an option to turn off pressure sensitivity when hand writing. Also, the option of disabling the two touch buttons by the home key would be nice.
Hi, can anyone help with this?
Is there a way to disable/re-program the search key on a Chromebook?
My son is autistic and we use the Chromebook for his schooling using a supervised user. We use this to allow him to use specific websites only.
But he constantly presses the search key which slows everything down when we are working with him.
Thanks
How to disable the search key in ChromeOS/Chromebook
Bottom right: Settings (gear) -> Device (section) -> Keyboard Settings.
Use the pulldown menu to change or disable the functionality of the special keys. I switched it to caps lock, for example. Though here you can see it disabled:

Thanks,

Should say Duel Screen.
You can have it that way in lanscape mode only
You have to click here on the keyboard and it will appear in the second screen
