If you want to record videos regularly, gimbal is a 'must have' buy. For 140 Euro you'll get semi-profi looking footages. I love this.
My own experience:

Software Stabilization in P20 Pro is quite good, but only 30 FPS and its flickering sometimes. Gimbal allows you to record 4K / Full HD 60fps with Stabilization.
I still think the hardware is very capable to add EIS to 4k videos
Some comparison if you are looking for a vlogging / travel camera
Xiaomi K20 Pro with its larger sensor
DJI Osmo Action:
Which one do you prefer
48MP Main camera stabilization is not as good as the 13MP wide angle
I'm going to show the common strength and weaknesses of these two, and help you decide which is best for you.
So let's start with similarities :
- USB Type C 2.0
- OLED screen
- HDR10 compatible
- In-screen FP scanner
- Wide, ultrawide, and telephoto lens (48, 13, 8mp)
- Front and back glass design
- Same band compatibilities
- Widevine L1 (global)
- UFS 2.1 Storage
- NFC
- Google Pay
- Fast charge capable
- Bluetooth 5.0
etc. etc.
Now the differences (I'm going to try to make it as short as possible) :
Mi 9T - , Mi 9 SE -
1- 6.39" screen , 5.97" screen
2- Amoled screen , Samsung Amoled screen
3- 4000mah battery , 3070mah battery
4- Sony IMX582 sensor , Sony IMX586 sensor
5- 4K30 with EIS , 4K30 without EIS
6- 1080p up to 960fps , 1080p up to 120fps
7- f/2.2 front camera , f/2.0 front camera
8- Pop-up camera , Dot notch camera/display
9- No support for PD fast charging , Supports PD fast charging
10- Less sensors , More sensors
11- SD 730 , SD 712
12- 8nm processor , 10nm processor
13- 3.5mm jack , no 3.5 jack
Description :
1, 5, 8, 11, 13 are self-explanatory.
2. The Mi 9 SE has a better display than the Mi 9T. It's probably an in-house made Xiaomi amoled screen on the 9T. Therefore, the SE should have better colours and contrast.
3. Despite the 9T having a bigger battery, the SE seems to be able to keep up with the 9T in a few testings on Youtube, maybe the SE will average few hours less than the 9T. So the battery shouldn't be a huge deal, unless you're a heavy gamer go for the 9T.
4. From my research, the 582 can only be recorded up to 4K30, that's all I could fine. However, I've seen a few videos showing a slightly softer image in detail compared to the 586. This is more noticeable in low light, but different image processing could have a play in this scenario.
6. I have no idea why the 9T can record 960fps at 1080p. The SD 730 on Qualcomm's site states that it can record up to 120fps at 1080p and 240fps at 720p (no information about the SD 712). So I don't see why the SE wouldn't be able to record 1080p960.
7. In theory, the SE should produce better selfies than the 9T, especially at low light, but image processing plays a major role here.
9. It's hard for me to explain, just google it XD
10. The SE has more sensors than the 9T for navigation and whatnot. FYI, the SE has an IR blaster where the 9T lacks.
12. A lower nm process results in better performance and better battery life. So the 9T has a lower battery consumption than the SE.
Research is all done by me. Information that I've gathered are from the following sites :
mi.com/global (for spec comparison)
youtube.com (camera and image performance, battery performance)
qualcomm.com (processor specs)
google.com (for definitions and explanations)

Hmm... I think you missed the main point of an Mi 9 SE owner:
0. SIZE: Mi 9T >> Mi 9 SE, which is the best relatively compact Android with best price/value ratio
1.-13. mostly similar
Winner is Mi 9 SE. If you prefer oven pans -> Mi 9T
mi9se more sexy and compact
Hi guys. I've been looking at phones for a while. Cause I needed a new phone.
Mi A3 is my first priority. Mi A3 has a 48mp sony imx586 sensor on main camera.
Xiaomi mi9t has almost the same sensor too (imx582 (only difference is 4k fps rating) )
I examined and compared the camera of mi a3 and mi9t. and some other phones which has imx586 or imx582 sensor. I see an obvious difference quality. What could be the reason of this difference and can i do something for improve MI A3 camera quality as good as MI9T?
And there is an other difference too. Slow motion recording. Mia3 can record 240fps video at 720p and Mi9T can record 960fps video at 720p and 1080p. why this difference stems.
After all if I used wrong words for this thread I am sorry for my English.
Mi 9t front camera is awful.
586 and 582 are same sensors, 582 just has better videos features. As far as camera quality goes mi9t has sd 730 and mia3 has sd 665, there is a image processor in mobile soc's and the one on sd 730 is better, means it will process the images better. Although the main thing that differs in photos in colors and dynamic range which is highly controlled by software so as mi9t is expensive its software processing is better but better software processing can also be achieved on mi a3 by installing google camera, as of now we don't have any mia3 specific google cam but soon we will get it hopefully.

okay I get it. This is because of proccessor. Does this mean that google camera is more stable than stock camera as processing photos? Because result photos are better than stock camera.
