Hi my oneplus nord 2 pac man edition has the stock Android 12 / DN2103_11_C.12How can I install the twrp to flash the new a13 Roms like derpfest?
Is there a way to do this without a windows pc?
Thx looking forward to try new roms.
yes its possible, first install the latest version of framaroot here https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/root-framaroot-a-one-click-apk-to-root-some-devices.2130276/
then on top select install supersu and at the bottom there will be 3 options of rooting, try all of the until one works, after roting install the twrp app here https://dl.twrp.me/twrpapp/me.twrp.twrpapp-26.apk.html
and then when you have rooted and installed the twrp app, agree to everything in the twrp app and its important to select use wirh root permissions, then you will have three options, select file to flash, flash to recovery, flash to boot, click on select file to flash, then select the twrp for a12, and flash to recovery, then reboot to recovery and boom you have twrp, if flash to recovery doesnt work try flash to boot.

Helo friends, I am new to redmi note 3 (sd). I officially unlocked the boot loader. I updated my device to 7.3.2 using miflash. I tried to install TWRP. I flashed the TWRP img and modified img. I tried to enter TWRP by pressing vol+ & power button. BUT no recovery was found . Simply Phone with cable image is showing in display. I followed all the steps carefully. I tried Cofface version and also the latest one.
Somebody please guide me step by step procedure to install TWRP. Somebody have the proper modified image for 7.3.2??? If yes means please give me the link.
In 7.1.8 i was able to get the TWRP. Is there any way to update to miui 7.3.2 by TWRP from 7.1.8
MIUI overwrites your recovery, disable it with the ALKA recovery, which can be found in Santosh's thread.
Here is what I did, to make TWRP workable, and it's very easy, no pc needed.
1. Install flashify
2. Install twrp with flashify but do not reboot yet
3. copy alka twrp to your phone
4. when it's done reboot your phone in flashify (right corner, reboot to recovery)
5. make system r/w (you will lose ota but screw it..., no other way to make twrp permanent on the phone)
6. flash alka update
7. reboot in twrp -> system
8. TWRP will give you a pop-up which tells you that you would like to disable the stock recovery, and just simply allow it to do it.
9. boom, done
Thanks bro!!!!!!!
Now i got both root and recovery on 7.3.2

Simple steps:
1. Go in fastboot mode.
2. Flash official twrp.
3. Boot in recovery.
4. Flash supersu zip.
5. Reboot your phone.
And yeah, allow modification to system partition when asked in recovery. The only downside of the official recovery is that it will be replaced by the stock recovery on boot. No prob, you can flash it again. No need to flash custom cooked boot image or something.
To keep recovery forever:
In system partition, there will be a file next to build.prop, named something like recovery-boot-bak or something, delete it and then flash twrp and this time it will stay.

After flashing for ex. Resurrection Remix (or any other custom rom) the device asks whether it should leave an old recovery or not. Flashing official miui zip doesn't touch the recovery at all.
So it's not necessary to delete any files (regarding my experience).

I want to go to Stock MiUi Room
Please Tell me how to!!
My phone is a Pocophone not Poco F1(is there any difference?) Global Edition
I'm curious about how you managed to flash a custom ROM but now you don't know how to flash the stock one ???
Follow this guide dude
just download the RECOVERY ROM from
https://forum.xda-developers.com/poco-f1/how-to/xiaomi-poco-f1-unlock-bootloader-custom-t3839405
and flash it via TWRP !
and you are DONE
wana root?
- after flashing ROM, reboot, signin , settle and then come back in twrp and flash magisk19 and reboot
why?
in my xperience the setup wizard takes forever to signin to google if you flash magisk,, i have no explaination why! but it happens with me many times !
The method described above will lock my boot loader again?

I don't know but flashing via mi flash tool can clean all + lock boot loader , it's an easy process .
For this process all you need is mi flash tool + latest miui build+ universal adb drivers .
it would be best to flash xiaomi.eu rom via twrp. No hassle with bootloader, recovery etc
If you want to go back to stock ROM you have two options. First one is via installing stock ROM from recovery and the second one is via fastboot mode. If you search MIUI firmware on chrome and then you have to open the first site. Then search POCO F1 and you will get the ROMs for recovery and fastboot mode. Then follow the instruction on "Munchy" youtube channel.
To install Stock Rom download the recovery Rom and the latest Magisk.zip
Boot to TWRP click install and select the recovery rom then hit add zip and select magisk.zip and swipe to install.
You are done twrp will remain there along with root.
Hi,
I was running:
Unlocked, TRWP and magisk on most actual version, beryllium-9.5.6-9.0-vendor-firmware, lineage-16.0-20190506-nightly-beryllium-signed
Today I started an OTA Lineage Update, but my Poco is now stuck in fastboot mode!
When I start minaml adb and type "fastboot continue", Lineage OS will boot normally. The TRWP-App Icon disappeared, but I can still start the TRWP-App via Google Play.
I copied all zips necessary for a clean new install onto my SD-Card, but I cannot boot into TRWP Recovery any more!
I downloaded the All in one tool, it connects: ADB device Ready. But I just don't know what to do for a clean new install.
Please help a newbie, I don't want to brick my Poco any further. I found a few threads that OTA Updates do not work that reliable, but I haven't figured out a solution.
Best regards
If I understand correctly, the Lineage OTA Update wiped the recovery Partition with TRWP?
That would explain why I cannot boot anymore to recovery.
As I remember I have been using OTA Updates in the past working fine. How should I update Lineage in the future? Always clean install? And how to backup all my data then, nandroid?
Should I now use the All in one tool to Flash TRWP again to recovery? How? Use "Recovery Flasher and Root" -> TRWP and check "Root after flash"?

Get the TWRP recovery image on to your pc, together with vendor/firmware zip for at least 2019-05-23. fastboot boot [TWRP recovery img] to boot the recovery, copy the vendor/firmware file over with adb, flash it with TWRP and reboot. If all goes well, great. If it doesn't, well...
Hi, I am unsure what you refer to by "TWRP recovery image", do you refer to "twrp-3.3.0-0-beryllium.img" or to some kind of backup image?
I have the "beryllium-9.5.23-9.0-vendor-firmware.img" on both, sd-card and PC now. I just do not know how to flash TWRP with the All in one tool, either by
Recovery -> Recovery Flasher and Root -> select recovery -> twrp-3.3.0-0-beryllium.img [and check the box "Root after Flash"]
or
Miscellaneous -> Advanced Options -> fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.3.0-0-beryllium.img
I just guess the first Option (Recovery)

twrp-3.3.0-0-beryllium.img is what I was referring to. Boot it with the command I gave. The vendor-firmware is a zip file, not an img file. You need to flash that after booting TWRP.
Sent from my POCO F1 using XDA Labs
yes, vendor is of course zip not img.
Thank you for helping me!
I was using the all in one tool to Flash TWRP again with the Checkbox "root" activated, booted recovery and went though a whole new clean install, device is running fine again.
I am Kind of afraid to touch the OTA update Option ever again. Seems that when updating via OTA, one Need to still checkout compatibility of all other zips and TWRP Version etc.
So the effort is the same to do a clean install with all updated.
hello,
so I was just wondering is it safe to flash MIUI 10 global rom with twrp? I know that it will probably replace the twrp with stock recovery, but it is easily fixed. I had to restore old backup and right now I'm on MIUI beta rom but with beta roms being shut down starting from 1st july, I just want to convert to the latest MIUI global rom which is avilable here on thier offical site and it is called Version: V10.3.4.0.PEJMIXM (MIUI10)
so again my question:
1. is it safe to flash this rom with TWRP?
2. will i need fastboot zip file if I choose to flash with TWRP?
3. or can I just download the normal zip and flash it through local update feature? please take note that twrp is installed on my phone
so that's all.. thanks for your time:good:

No,I recommend downloading the full (recovery) rom and flashing it in twrp, and then flashing the 'Disable Force Encryption' zip and later magisk if needed.., wipe dalvik cache & reboot
This way you don't lose twrp or anything else on your phone

Hi ethanks for your reply. What do you mean by full rom? Does twrp allow flashing miui global roms just like any other custom roms?

Of course it does..
I'm talking about the full rom also called as recovery rom (Example :-
https://en.miui.com/getrom-355.html?m=yes&mobile=2
Visit this link to see the latest miui stable & beta ROMs for Poco f1, both of them are full ROMs aka recovery ROMs of the latest miui for Poco f1
1) I assume you have already unlocked bootloader etc..
First you have to have the essential files i.e the rom zip file you want to install, disable Force Encryption zip file, Magisk zip file (All files links will be available in the main Poco f1 thread)
2) Next you boot into twrp (Power + volume up button)
Next select install, navigate to the downloaded rom zip file and swipe to flash (DONT reboot after flash, click back)
3) Now again select install & now flash the disable Force Encryption zip file (This is very important & should be done during every rom flashing)
4) Next go back & flash Magisk for root
5) Wipe dalvik cache and reboot

Did you flash stable rom ?
And did you erase the data or internal storage?
I am on beta as well and have unlocked bootloader and twrp & magisk installed with Force encryption Disabled.
I want to switch to 10.3.5.0 Stable ROM.
But I don't know whether to erase Data partition or not.

1) Use migrate app from play store to take a backup of current phone app data, the backup is stored in a flashable zip format
2) Next boot to twrp, choose wipe and select davlik, cache, system, data later follow my steps in my previous comment to flash new rom
3) Set up phone etc, Make sure Magisk is installed properly
4) Next boot into twrp & flash the migrate zip file located in migrate folder, reboot after flashing, you will get a notification about migrate backup once rebooted, open it and restore everything or select choose to restore for selective restore of data
