Hard to explain so I've watched pictures to show what i mean.
Why is everything displayed so large with this phone? I've turned text size and the screen zoom all the way down but everything is still huge.
Photo comparison is Asus ROG Phone 6 pro left, s23u right. Look how much more info i can get on the Asus. Both phones have same screen size 6.8". Both phones running same resolution as well.
Is there something I'm missing? Or some other way to decrease the display size?

Try slight higher DPI from developer settings
Enable Developer Options (Settings, about phone, software information, tap build number 7 times). Scroll to minimum width. Try 470 or 484 dp.
That worked. To get the best match i set it to 500 and text size level 2.
Did you try the option Zoom in on Display (free translation) under display settings?

Do you mean "screen zoom"? If so, yes. I have it set to minimum.

So I am currently using a submicron wall paper and circle launcher as my main screen. I am also using Launcher pro and a 3x3 screen set up so that I have three columns and three rows in which apps can appear on as I need no more. (Screen shots included). Now if you see my circle in the middle is ever so slightly off and this, well it pisses me off to be frank. So does anyone know how to fix this?

Secondly if I try to go into landscape orientation everything, and I mean everything is all wonky! So that my center doesn't line up, my widgets are all off and its just bad! Is there a fix to make it look like its in portrait mode, as in the design and widgets overlay on the same parts or do I just have to suffer??
Landscape Picture:
I took the image file straight from here and used the 800x480 I believe
If you need any more info please do not hesitate to ask!
I appreciate all the help
how many home screens are you using? The image may not be oriented correctly because it is stretching it to fit the entire span...
Just a guess. Not all screens are designed to work in landscape mode or you might need to change the number of rows/columns in your landscape setting to give the widget space.
Hello. Before the Lollipop upgrade, I was able to set an alert when I reached a preset level of mobile data usage. While I can now see the graph for data usage, I no longer see a way to set the alert. Does anyone know how to set this?
MT2L03, EMUI 3.1
It should be in the settings, on the graph itself. I don't remember if Huawei changed it on EMUI though.

Hi ScoobSTi. You are correct for standard lollypop but Huawei appears to have changed it a bit. The graph is still there but the options to set the alert is gone. It's a pretty graph though. :-/
I can't find how to set it but I still get a warning over 2gb. Next time I get it I will see if I can find the setting on the screen that pops up.
Here are the pics that it exists, but for the life of me I cannot find how to access them. I don't know if they defaulted over somehow from JB cause I don't remember setting the limit on LP.
ok this worked for me to be able to find it and edit the settings.

Many thanks! That worked.
No Problem I wonder if this could just be an edit in the build.prop
Hi!
Is there a way to adjust the screen colours in some convenient way (maybe Huawei-style?). I don't mind installing ROMs, applications with root access.
EU version.
Thanks

Tried it, but that does not change the color temperature (at least I did not got it done).
Has anyone tried CF.lumen with the G5? (or is that a no brainer?)
THX
You should aware that stock kernel does not allow changing color settings with normal ways(CF.lumem, KCAL).
If you want that, try using a modified kernel that supports these functions(asgard or mk2000 kernel).
Hi everyone, I'm a new mem here and I tried to fit the screen with my monitor, but it's hard. So i want to aks everyone my problem.
First, my default DPI is 160 and my resolution is 1024x768, but my monitor is 1920x1080, so i want to change but there are some problems here:
- When change my DPI by "wm density 125" in terminal by Alt+F1, the screen become like below picture:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
You can see the icon size is good, but the wallpaper is terrible. I cannot set any picture to full screen wallpaper.
- But more terrible than that, when i change my resolution by command "wm size 1920x1080", the screen come to be like this
You can see red border is my actual screen of my monitor, and green area is the screen of remix os, and blue area is 2 big black area and I can move my mouse to that and every app just full screen at the green area.
It makes me do not know how to work with that, anyone know how to solve this problme? Very thanks so much

I find out now that is between the screen and the glass, I increase and decrease image, but numbers don't move, is 208 on soft red. Thanks
There appears to be an odd purple mark in the lower right... no red... but I'm starting to see red.
You taking screen shots?
You need to take an picture of the screen with a camera not screen shot to show a imprinted number...
Thanks I will do that, also appears more small numbers under, I suppose that is the reference of the display.
Is that "burn-in" perhaps?!
OLEDs don't burn in per se but high brightness, statically still areas can wear faster and their pixels are then become dimmer than surrounding ones.
