Soo..
Basically I don't have my PC with me and I flashed a rom which replaced my recovery(ofox) with it's own. Now I am facing issues with 5g(as it's not workin'-_- in the current rom) and I can't flash my stock miui or any other rom due to this) I have an other phone (Galaxy J2 Pro) and I wanted to flash twrp or ofox using this J2 Pro on my Mi 11x pro (Haydn) but when I use any app (such as bugjaeger) to flash it using adb sideload or fastboot but it doesn't detect my phone as the J2 pro can't access my phone but my phone every time access that phone (for ex as if My mi 11x pro is PC and J2 gets charged from it and I can access it's storage). I just want opposite for it and want the J2 pro to control my phone. I really hope XDAians would help Mee.
Well I don't have that much practical knowledge (weeps*)

Eventhough I have done a lot of search in samsung galaxy J2 ACE (G532G),couldn't find a single forum ,post, tutorial in name of J2 ACE..There are rooting tutorials only available for J2 PRIME (G532G),which is a similar ROM variant.I have tried many of J2 Prime tutorials and end up in bootloop/boot lock screen. So requesting XDA developers to help me in creating prerooted firmware.I have added stock roms's google drive link.
Its a stock ROM of J2ACE .I downloaded it after i got into bootloop .Flashed in my J2ACE mobile ,verified working good.

Any developer kindly use above ROM and create a prerooted ROM.As without root ,the stock marshmallow 6.0.1 ROM filled with bloatwares of samsung ,which are memory eaters.I got left only 500mb,if I add any four or five apps, out of 8GB internal memory.SD card also write protected.I couldnt install and use whatsapp, bcz I end up in exhausting free memory to 50mb.
Please ,any help greatly appreciated by few thousand users of J2 ACE out there.
Below are J2prime G532G tutorials ,I have gone through.I request other J2ACE holders not to give them try.If you have tried them accidentally and ended up in bootloop or boot lock screen,Kindly use ROM from above drive link and flash it with ODIN.

There is people out there saying use Z3x Box to unlock Boot Lock screen .But it does cost 10,000 Indian currencies ,more price than that of J2 ACE mobile price. Also there is 'no box' version of Z3x samsung tool v24.3 available over internet ,which unfortunately doesnt support G532G Unlocking. There is no latest version of Z3x tool 27.00 without Box available so far.No local unlocking vendors/service centers, i could find in south indian cities around me.So Pre-Rooted ROM is the only hope of People buying Middle end budget phone Samsung Galaxy J2 ACE(G532G).
How can a noob like me tell the difference btw sm-g532g and sm-g532g? J2 Ace (my phone) claims to be model sm-g532g, how do I tell the difference?

For rooting samsung j2 ace-
- First Install the rom which you have provided(yes i have rooted samsung j2 ace by your rom)
- After installing rom, Make sure you dont download any ota update from samsung (very Important)
- Boot your phone into download mode, and flash the twrp recovery. (you can search on google for that and if still you dont get it comment back i will give you download link)
- This time you will see that you phone doesnt go in boot lock (Yellow warning appears but not red one)
- Now boot into recovery by ADB and you will have twrp recovery
- Now flash super-su zip

Sir,kindly post me the TWRP file ..thanks in advance..
2 methods for TWRP + root
I am using the stock ROM you so kindly have made available.
The first method I have tried with success is "EASY-G532-TWRP+ROOT-NEW". There are an exe file and an MP4 file in the folder. You only need to have Samsung USB drivers installed on your PC. Connect your phone to your PC - normal mode. Play the media file for instructions. Your phone will be rooted witin

The second method is quite simple.
- flash TWRP via Odin
- in recovery mode, flash SuperSU and then no-verity-no-encrypt.
Done.

Hello i have Xiaomi Note 5 and i have a fake rom that i wanna get rid of and replace it with the real one
I wanna go to edl mode by shorting those 2 pins and flashing global rom from their fastboot site (since they do not offer china roms anymore).
My problem is that i read that xiaomi disabled edl mode with android 8.1 and i have 8.1 so will it work with the current firmware?
Am i going to be able to flash anything or im stuck here forever?
I bought RN 4 Mediatek with the cheapest deal, 4/46, Its still usable, n i forgot to do overall check coz its cheap
The issues :
1. i cant log on my Mi Account, coz everytime i do that, the notif 'getting security info' shows, n it never stop
2. I cant update apps in playstore. I can install new apps from apkpure site but it need to reboot
3. Everytime after reboot, a 'wait for debugger to attach' notif slways shows, n its related to Mi Find Device
So i assumed this RN 4 is Bricked n now i need HELP to UNBRICK it n i wish someone know also the test point. Coz like i used to unbrick other Mi phones, flashing via test point can fix all software issue
PLEASE HELP
T.I.A
First of all it's technically not bricked but considering that it's a cheap deal that probably means it's used and I hope you got the MI account that can unlock this phone, been long since I used miui on my note 4 so I dunno what happenes if you don't have it
but anyway here are some tips
1- if the device is unlocked try wiping all user data through the miui recovery (or if it has other recovery like twrp)
2- if the device isn't but you can still access fastboot then you might be able to erase the user data using
[fastboot erase userdata]
That's ocourse that means you need fastboot on your PC Abd also the device USB drivers
3- if that's still not working you might need to actua flash a stock ROM using MiFlash tool, while you're at it look for "deep flash" cause in my case just flashing in fastboot mode had so many troubles, but in download mode it went perfect
PS: I entered the download mode on my note 4 through fastboot code that I really can't remember right now, try this before resorting to short circuiting your device for download mode
So, have anyone tried Android 12 on haydn?
Note : Works with K40 Pro as well thanks to @makiothekid

Wanna try it?
Here's Android 12 (AOSP)
Here's the guide from XDA Developers
UNLOCK YOUR BOOTLOADER
MIGHT BRICK YOUR PHONE SO DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK
How to flash Android 12 betaThe Android 12 beta ROM comes in the form of a .tgz extension, commonly referred to as a Fastboot ROM. To flash this ROM, you also need to have a Windows PC and phone with an unlocked bootloader. Instructions to unlock the bootloader of your phone can be found on your device’s subforums on XDA.
To flash the downloaded file, follow the instructions below:
Download the MiFlash Tool on your PC that can be found here. After downloading, extract the tool and install it. It is also advised to have ADB and Fastboot installed.
Reboot your phone into Download mode by powering it off and then pressing both the Power and Volume Down buttons together.
Connect your phone to the computer using the USB cable.
Download the Fastboot ROM .tgz file and extract it and make sure you remember the extract location, as you will need to paste the address into MiFlash Tool. Make sure there are no spaces in the extract location path.
Run MiFlash Tool on your PC and in the address bar within the tool, paste the extract location from Step 4.
Click “Refresh” within MiFlash and the app should automatically recognize your device.
Click “Run” within MiFlash to flash the ROM file to the device.
The progress bar within MiFlash will turn green, which indicates that the ROM was successfully installed. Your device should boot automatically to the new version.

Can i flash it on my K40 Pro?
Edit1: Just flash it on K40 Pro/Mi 11i. Lack of features compare official Pixel Devices.
No new quick setting menu, can't change accent colors, icon shape and fonts. Change can't screen framerate to 122hz. But it's a clean firmware compare with MIUI.
I can recommend this for people refer stock firmware over MIUI or want to review and send it to google.
I can't not recommend to flash in this stage, if it's your main devices. Nothing happen to my device though, just a precaution
Edit2: Successfully rooted without any problem.
Edit3: Magisk can be install but not work yet. Battery seem to be way better than Stock MIUI

For your 1st point, it's just Android 12 rom for our device in order to test the compatibility, don't expect it will have Pixel's exclusive features. #3 surprise me, and Xiaomi should feel embarrassing about that.

About #3 12 hours at work and i still have 68% of juice left.
note about battery life.. I'm seeing about the same longevity compared to MIUI with MIUI optimisations turned off. couldn't quite understand why it drained so quickly with optimisations on
bit disappointed we're not seeing the fancy new ui in this version of the beta for the 11i
