Question Bing Sort by Date - Windows 11

First of all, please note that there is a difference between 'filter' by date and 'sort' by date. I am fully aware of how to filter by the date, but would like to sort by date with videos in bing. I am trying to embed videos of a specific search term into a web based home page I am working on and have them sorted by date. I am not partial to bing, but have found that most other search engines don't allow their results to be embedded. So bing or another search engine with videos, as long as it can be embedded, would work. Any help would be appreciated.

What has Bing ( a search engine ) to do with Windows 11 OS this forum is dedicated to?

I'm using a windows 11 operating system on the computer I'm trying to get it working on. It was either this or 'Apps and Games'. Neither of which felt like it was a great fit for it as it's a browser and not a typical app. Either way, still trying to figure out how to do this.

With that said from earlier. Is there a better forum for this post? And really it's a search engine and not a browser that I am asking about, so even less of a definitive of a topic as it does that same regardless of what operating system or browser you are using.

[Q] Are WM roms available now for it?

I'just love windows mobile features, the way I lookup in dictionary while surfing the web with non-Chinese pages, the ability to handle word, excel docs, etc..
The simple question is as the thread title.
Hope for answers, thanks.
you must not know that there is only one developer for the streak.... so in short answer no, at least not yet. head on to the android development section and see for yourself

You do know that you can do those things with the Android OS?
You can have a window or tab open to a dictionary site while you browse or use a long press on the home key to switch to a dictionary program that's running.
You can edit MS Office docs with QuickOffice (included on the phone with 2.2) or Documents to Go.
Have to agree with marvin there
i have not come across anything i used to do on WM that i cannot do on Android

[Q] Application shortcut with command line parameters

Hi.
I always had windows mobile devices in the past, and like you must know, the old good windows mobile no longer exist... Microsoft killed it.
So I switched to Android. I really like android, The way it works is pretty the same than windows mobile with file browser, files system(Not like the Iphone without any way to deal with a file at all), .APK install like the .CAB on WM...
One think that I loved on WM is how easy it was to make shortcut by yourself, even with parameters. As example, it was easy to create a shortcut to Coreplayer to play an HTTP stream when simply clicking on it.
Like: "coreplayer.exe my_teststreamDOTcom : portNumber"
I searched a lot over internet and forums all over there, and I can't see any solution like this on android.
I'm pretty sure that you can do it with some application like ANYCUT or BETTERCUT or also "MANUAL INTENT SHORTCUT" But I have not find any documentation or example to how to do this.
Any of you having the same problem or found a method to do this?
Thanks!!
Cedric

Did those apps work?
It's been a few months since he asked, I doubt if he's checking the thread regularly. He's probably found some answer or workaround, since November. I posted the answer mostly because this thread will pop up in internet searches, and it will be able to help others find the answer quickly, too.
Good lookin out pimpin.

[Q] My app idea!

Hello!
I just started a new youtube channel called OfficialGameDubstep and our goal is to get people to listen to dubstep and have our songs published on there!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qrEnONDt8nc
Now i came up with this idea of making a app that shows ALL our videos in a rss feed way like a list and a little thumbnail next to it and you can click it and wath the video.
Now my question is (Never made an app before...) How and what program('s) should i use???
Why don't you make a website mobile-friendly in html5 ? This way it will work on different devices and resolution (iOS/Android/..) without even installing anything !
If you know html and php, that's a gooood start already.
Sencha touch is a framework that might help you, but there are even tons of tutorial on html5 out there.
If you don't want to stick to youtube, I can point you to soundcloud (also have html5 support)
If you like dubstep, please consider this and this also
expanding on what ell3 suggested, you can use phonegap to turn html5 into native apps for android, ios, bada, webos, sybmian, etc.
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks

Sencha Touch is one option, but have you taken a look at Davinci Studio? It's a dev tool similar to Sencha, but based on HTML5. It also has a jQuery framework...so it's pretty universal and a lot of devs can get the hang of it pretty fast. You can download it for free at their site and ask them questions and stuff on their forum.
Have a look at http://jquerymobile.com/
I use this framework for my mobile device pages.

Request : Google googles modification

Can somebody modify the application google googles and instead of searching the web to search to the photos I had to a mobile folder.
For example in a folder in my mobile I have 1000 photos with some items , so when I take a photo to search for a similar photo in this local folder and not to the google’s database
I think that the comparison between the pictures is not done by your phone, but by the google servers. The goggles app just sends the picture to the servers, so what you want can't be easily done...
Yes propably you are right,
Do you know where can I upload the photos so the Google goggles will be able to find it
I see what you want to do, but this would be very difficult. You need your pictures uploaded somewhere, it is not important where, but then google has to index them and this takes time. Also, you need some other pages linking to yours, because this is how Google's pagerank algorithm works (this is a simplification, of course).
And in my experience, except for flat things, like pictures or books, Google Goggles response is not very good.
Probably your best option is to set up a computer with some image recognition software, and then start a web server on that computer where you can upload your pictures and get your response. You could use something like neuroph (http://neuroph.sourceforge.net/image_recognition.html) .
As you can imagine, this is not something that can be done in a day.
Maybe someone else can give you more ideas.
Good luck.
thanks for the information, finally is more difficult than my first thought

Search Tools / Advanced search on Google Now / Search

For years I've been frustrated with Google Search / Google Now on my various android phone / tablets. How do you enable or take advantage of the search tools / advanced search when using the google search and/or google now app? It does not exist! How many years must go by before this is fixed? Example;
If I choose to look up an event that occurred in the PAST MONTH but say there are a lot of hits for a similar event from this PAST WEEK or PAST YEAR, i cannot refine my search with SEARCH TOOLS because there is no option in the app or using the widget. So I either quickly use google now or the widget and then get bombarded with irrelevant results, or i have to open a browser and then go to google.com then search, then click more, then click search tools, the set it to past month. Does anyone else see how inefficient and annoying this is since we are using android operating systems made by google? Does anyone have any shortcuts or ways to do this without taking a bunch of steps? thanks
50 views and no one knows? Is this in the wrong forum? I figured it was Android related. I searched for an answer but got nothing.
I found your thread looking for answers to the same questions. This is probably the single most annoying thing about android mobile devices. I do almost everything online with my tablet, and it's beyond frustrating to need to go to my laptop for searches. First world problems, I suppose.
Bump for change
