Question Just got a Pixel 6 today - cant bootloader unlock - Google Pixel 6

Hello. Ive been around awhile, not new account but coudlnt get my login info right. Sorry about that. Soooooo... I purchased a Pixel 6 via Amazon listed as unlocked / renewed. I fully charged it and booted it up. Its running Android 12 currently (not 13), and its model is: GB7N6 .
After enabling developer mode, OEM Unlock is indeed greyed out and unchangeable. Isnt model GB7N6, running Android 12, specifically compatible for bootloacker unlock?

Does it say anything underneath the toggle? On my 6A it shows as "carrier locked" and wion't let me turn it on.

Underneath, it says "Connect to the internet or contact your carrier". Currently on wifi. Have not switched yet from my iphone to this one (was hoping to have it flashed with a custom rom etc beforehand)

@bleedingoutward Can you put the imei into an IMEI lookup? It might be an unlocked Verizon phone (which cannot be bootloader unlocked)?
That message will show sometimes with Verizon Pixels

Its not Verizon. Model in settings is GB7N6.

@bleedingoutward
Ok, so it's T-Mobile (which will unlock). Can you try flashing 13 with Google's online flash tool and seeing if it unlocks from there?

From my understanding, wont that make it permamantly unable to be unlocked? I thought i read that about 13

No, 13 will not do that. 13 supports unlocking on Pixels (I'm sure about it).

Still no luck

Take a screenshot of about phone and dev options please?
And can you try putting a sim in it?

[Huawei G730-U10] Problems, problems and problems trying to use a custom recovery.

I have an "old" Huawei Ascend G730-U10 which has a terrible..... TERRIBLE stock ROM, starting from the general stability of applications and the system itself to the fact that this phone was released to be never, ever updated; so I want to install a custom ROM.
But since I'm doing it, there are over 9000 bugs and problems, and maybe the only thing that went almost right was rooting (except for the fact that I'm stuck with KingRoot since SuperSU refuses to install).
First of all, I couldn't even request the unlock code the usual way, since the code to bring up the Product ID didn't work and I had to contact Huawei directly.
After getting the code, I booted into the bootloader, did "fastboot oem unlock *code*" and... I don't even know if it worked! No message appeared and doing "fastboot oem get-bootinfo" returns "FAILED (remote: not support on security)".
After finding both a TWRP and a Clockworkmod build for this phone (the latter one is actually for G730-U00, I don't know if it would work), I tried doing "fastboot boot *path_to_recovery_image*", but that doesn't work either, as it just hangs on "downloading 'boot.img'..." without doing anything (last try I left it there for 20 minutes). I don't want to already flash the recovery directly since I want to test if it works and I don't want to brick the phone.
Can someone help me?

LG V10 locked to T_mobile

LG V10 TMO issue with unlock app
I have bought my LG V10 locked to T-Mobile last week from ebay and when I try to unlock it permanently through TMO unlock app it allways shows the message " Unlock Failed - Failure in Processing Request"-
I already reebooted, made hard reset 3 times but it doesn´t change.
Any ideas how to fix this?
I have upgraded to the latest Android Version.
I don´t know what can I do more.

Device can only be unlocked after it has been used on an active T-Mobile account for 40 consecutive days.
But How can it be unlocked, if there are no connection through TMO unlock app?
The app connects to a T-Mobile server to process the unlock. There is no other way to unlock the phone.
That I know. I already unlocked 3 or 4 LG V10 from TMO but the message was different when pressing Permanent Unlock. It showed Device Not eligible to Unlock. In this situation, it was easy to unlock it. But with this kind of error (Failure in Processing the request), I don´t know if it possible to unlock it... In several sites, the advice is to reboot or make hard reset and try again. I have done everything and the error message is still showing up when I choose permanent unlock.
Perhaps that one cannot be unlocked. If you search eBay for unlocks through the app, all the sellers expressly state their unlocks will not work if you receive that error message.
Hi I have a issue to help

Couldn't check Finde device status

Hi everyone.
1 - After my xiaomi redmi 3 Note Pro was in bootloop I flashed it with MIUI Global 8.1/ Stable 8.1.1.0
2 - At the first boot, when I had to sign in to my Mi Account, the phone started saying "Checking Find device status...", without letting me even try to sign in.

}
3 - So i tried to flash the phone again but it doesn't work now: with every image version and every MiFlash version I try in MiFlash says [error:"Flash tz error"]. I've seen that this probably happens because my bootloader is still locked.
4 - So I tried to unlock it with the standard procedure with MiFlashUnlock, and after all the procedure I received the message, but when I try to unlock it says: "Couldn't verify device, current account is different from the account info on the device". So I've seen that this is because I can't login into my account in the phone (see section 2).
5 - I noticed that I'm able to access the apps and the settings of the phone even if I'm in the mi account login screen (see section 2) holding the center button and going to google now and searching for settings or app names. I tried from the settings to reset the phone but it doesn't allow me since I'm not logged, I also tried to update the phone with the update app, but it doesn't let me.
Pls help
i got the same problem, anyone can help to solve this?

Stealth Brick

Hello. I have a Moto G4 Plus, still under warranty.
One evening, I go out with some friends, my phone is working normally.
In a bar I pull out my phone and try to look for an image on google, the phone starts to display some odd behaviour (the show all open apps screen kind of half fills the display with the browser filling the other half). I figure I'll forget about it and check later, I press power and put my phone in my pocket.
I wake up the next morning to a phone that won't boot, and this screen:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
When I try to put it into recovery mode, I get this screen:
Now I know that it says software status is 'Modified', but I swear, I have never modified this or any phone I have owned. I literally went out with friends one night with a working phone and returned with it in this state. I have tried going through official channels (Amazon won't replace it as they say the guarantee is with the manufacturer), it was sent to Motorola for repair but they refuse to repair it unless I pay 130 Euros, because they state it has been modified. I refused to pay that, and weeks of arguing with them that I have done nothing wrong went nowhere, so the brick has been returned to me.
I am trying to fix it myself, but it's proving very frustrating. Windows can't see the phone, despite me having installed Motorola Device Manager (which does see the backup Moto G3 I'm currently using, so that program is working correctly).
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The last version of Android where you could remotely change the device password if you got locked out of your phone was Kit Kat.
The only time I've heard of an update making the device stop recognizing the correct password is when a custom recovery is being used that can't properly decrypt data in which case the owner could boot back into TWRP and reformat the device memory.
In this case it sounds much more like somebody with a stolen phone trying to bypass the security set up by the legitimate owner.
As far as I know helping somebody do that still gets you banned from XDA.
If the OP here is the legitimate owner then there is probably a hardware problem with that phone and he should get it serviced under the warranty.
It's probably a script that's poorly written. Not necessarily the update.

I have some bad news for you, since your problem is (in fact) similar to this one : https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-20-pro/help/annoying-issue-mode-official-update-t3900123
There is a known issue with Huawei updates and any "password-lock" function
