So I tried to root my Xiaoxin pad 2022(TB128FU snapdragon 680 model) the usual way( adb + magisk) but after flashing the magisk patched img, my tablet kept bootlooping into fastboot. Im trying to fix this using QFIL but can't seem to find the stock firmware for my device online,. I tried using the Rescue software from lenovo itself but its own firmware for Lenovo Tab M10 Plus 3rd gen( the global version ) still wouldn't fix the bootloop. any help in finding this firmware is very much appreciated.

It seems your phone is made up of different varients where flashing stock filmware or flashing a custom rom could brick your phone. If it was me I would leave the phone as it is or try and get a refund.
Please don't post questions in the development section, I will ask a moderator to move your thread to the Q&A section which helps keep the threads clean and in order.

Stoned,
I too have a question. I have a note 8 (snapdragon) I bought of off amazon. It was with verizon but has since been unlocked as per Verizon. I am now with Pure Talk and having no issues with the service. I went from $ 160 a month for three phones sharing 6 gb to $60 a month with 1 2gb phone and 2 4 gb phones. Within a couple of months it would sometimes start and after booting through it would then black screen and require multiple restarts to work. It is either a overheat issue or a flubded OTA update (pre booting messages indicates such). The issue is that when I attempt to firmware flash it to XAA non carrier specific to get rid of the verizon bloatware, it wont take. I tried many versions of Odin and many different versions of firmware and it always gives the message of 0 succeeded/1 failed.
I wanted to flash stock firmware in the hopes it would fix these issues. I would install a custom rom, but am afraid to brick it as it is on REV 8 though the OTA updates. Do you have any insight? Thank you for your time, effort, and support.
I'm running this custom rom on my N9500 for almost 2 years. Why I can't find a Q port for this device

Problem is ive went through the process of applying it through odin but get the following error and not sure what is wrong, ive enabled USB debugging mode which is turned on and my phone is in downloading mode, is there another step involved to successfully flash this phone ?
Hi
I understand that the reason Odin failed may be because you used wrong (mismatched) firmware (i.e. it's not firmware for your A10S model. The following info should illustrate my point:
There are 2 similarly named models:
a) the Galaxy a10S series [Versions: SM-A107F/DS (Global); SM-A107M/DS (LATAM). Source https://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_a10s-9793.php], ..... and
b) the Galaxy A10 series [Versions: SM-A105F/DS, SM-A105FN/DS (Global); SM-A105G/DS (APAC); SM-A105M/DS (LATAM/Brazil). Source: https://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_a10-9580.php]
From the info you gave above, you have a phone in the SM-A107F series, but you have fed a firmware version for the SM105F series into Odin and flashed your phone. You have a A107F phone (as indicated in the Software information image above (Baseband version: A107F......). In contrast, the Odin image indicated that you used A105F firmware (in the BL button field, it showed 105FDDU6BUD1 .......). Additionally, your Attachment image should also confirm that indeed you had downloaded the 105FDDU6BUD1 firmware version and used it in Odin.
Redownload the correct firmware (one beginning with 107F .... and flash your phone again could solve your problem.
Best wishes

How were you able to modify the ramdisk and still get a bootable image? Every time I modify the boot image and repack it via magisk to reboots to fastboot when I switch it on. What are the base address, kernel offset and ramdisk offset for this thing?
If may I ask, what exactly did you mean by working. Just being cautious, already broke my device twice (once fixed it by service centre another time from a far far away shop)

• Back Up and rename img to flash
• MTP & ADB & Fastbootd

Hello, so I decided to try an root this junky phone I have which is a moxee m2160. I followed a guide on youtube, I unlocked the bootloader, then got magisk. I then created the patched-magisk.img then used my computer & fastboot to flash it too the device. I was pretty sure I had gotten it until I rebooted it an it booted back too the bootloader. I'll upload pics of my screen to show you where Im stuck. Am I able to fix the phone with my pc somehow? I probably should've gathered more info before I did it. Thanks for any answers in advance.

fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
Something like this part I forgot the part with the empty vbmeta or from stock. Search. Good luck more I don't can help. I read it only somewhere
I've done the same thing to this phone every option on that screen doesn't do anything just reboots to the same screen. Does anyone out there have this phone and have the stock ROM or anything at all that would help restore this phone. I found out it is made by KonnectOne it is a government assistance phone from Assurance Wireless and that is pretty much all I can come up with. Any assistance at all would help a noob like myself, learning as I go. Thanks.
Specs for this devices are here https://phonedady.com/moxee-m2160
Greetings members. The support team over at KonnectOne has granted my request for factory firmware for this smartphone. I am presently in the process of establishing a secure file transfer protocol with support to download the package. I will have it later this week if any members are in need of it

It's been officially released by the manufacturer, after weeks of haggling with KonnectONE's office of general counsel. Here's the link.

QFIL (Qualcomm Flash Image Loader)
Download Qualcomm Flash Image Loader (QFIL) - Qualcomm Tool
Download Qualcomm Flash Image Loader (QFIL) to flash stock firmware on Qualcomm based Smartphone and Tablets easily in few clicks.
androidmtk.com
You will find a how-to guide in the link I sent. You will need to install the Qualcomm EDL drivers and boot your phone into EDL mode in order to use QFIL. To boot into EDL, hold volume up and down simultaneously while connecting your phone and PC.
I will be posting a full QFIL guide this weekend.
Hello,
I've got all the ROM from sp flash tools, when I repack the folder where I unpacked everything gets a smaller size than the system.img file, when I repack, I also get a smaller size even that I use make_ext4fs with the correct size.
So when I flash the system.img the phone goes straight to bootloader and doesn't boot.
How can I fix this?
Also, I want to add system apps to the system.img, how can I do that?

Hi there! I am trying to learn the same thing as well! I feel down the rabbit hole a year ago trying to get "tools" to work, and was not successful, maybe someone can teach us.
I can however, share with you a theory of different way of doing what we are trying to do that might? work for you? Depends if you have working firmware or not.
If you are able to flash your firmware and then preinstall your apps, you can pull the partitions.
It seems not all the partitions are the same on each device, so you would have to poke around to figure out what all is what.
running command df - h in adb shell can give you some clues. If you are able to install magisk and watch it in twrp, it can give you another clue about your boot.img partition.
I have all the commands and stuff I worked out in this comment as well as what I have tried and worked out. Maybe this can work for us!
Just note your mmc blocks- what they actually are- is likely different than mine
Also maybe someone can elaborate more, I just learned how to do this yesterday and it worked for me to not bootloop with the modded boot.img, just trying to find the right partition for my system now.
Thanks for your answer, I'm gonna try that, but I can't get the new system.img to boot on the device, I'm using a basic device that doesn't have TWRP.
Also, when I flash the edited system.img the device doesn't boot, I think its because of the size, any clue to fix that?
I know there is a command with it, one of the tool kits that carries the individual exe or bins whatever os you are running had it in there but I cannot think what it was but it could capture the original file size and amend the new one, I remember manually doing it by hand and not with a all in one tool. Your line of thinking is right, maybe check out some of the old toolsets on here. That is likely where I found it.

It was something like this, I tried running these in cmd and reading their help files but I didn't see what I was looking for, but some toolset like this on this site has the exe or bin (if linux) you need
I used make_ext4fs but I'm still getting smaller size
