Hello, I am posting in Nova 3i section because I can't find a thread related to Huawei Nova 7i or Nova Series. Today, I did factory reset my phone and it wipes everything. Now, It's asking my password but I can't remember it. I think It's EMUI12, and I was able to search the entire internet on how to bypass but none of it seems working including the dload because I believe It's for EMUI10. Moreover, when I try dload, I get an error saying "UPDATE FAILED" using Flash Drive+OTG. Lastly, I wanted to try firmware software but they need payments. Anyone who can help me bypass the password is much appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, thanks for your response. Sorry about the confusion. My problem is the Huawei ID to clarify and not the gesture, pattern, or pin/password lock. Thanks anyway. I hope someone with knowledge can bypass this method this 2023 because the walkthrough in every site is really old and It's for EMUI11 and below.

Sorry about that!
Do you mean that you forgot your HUAWEI ID password? Is the linked phone number or email account still in use?

Hey guys, I have a little problem I tried to find the solution in other posts, but I didn't found it, so this is my last hope... I hope you can help me.
So I have an Asus Memo Pad HD7, and I rooted it using framaroot 1.9.3, then one day it appeared a firmware actualization in my notification bar, I updated NY android and then after some days I just wanted to check if the unroot option in the framaroot worked, well my mistake it worked to well, after I clicked I rebooted and them the supersu was gone and I had unrooted tablet again, but when I tried to root again it told me it was rooted and then after reboot it wasn't... I can't root it again
The weird part is that recently I made another firmware actualization and supersu appeared magically in my phone, I tried to start it, but it showed an error saying my phone was unrooted... then I uninstalled supersu and tried to root again, but I can't...
Please help!
P.s: I didn't instal any rooms and I already tried factory reset in settings.
P.s.s: The weirdest part is that people say they unrooted to do a firmware update, while I did it with my rooted tablet. And Avast says my device is running in high privilege mode, but Root Checker says it's not.
Please any help will be appreciated!
Without knowing which firmware you are on now, it's not really possible to tell you how to reroot correctly.

My android is 4.2.2, my kernel version 3.4.5 and my model name is ME173X. I can't find the firmware though, the best I found is this: Camera firmware: 80000 and Build Number: ME173X_WW_user_4.2.4.04152_20140714 release-keys.

Recovery + SuperSU zip or custom rooted stock rom will probably be the way to go.

Sorry, I don't have a lot of experience with android devices so, I hate to say it, I'm kind of noob on that. Can you please help me with a tutorial explaining how to do that?
Thank you very much
Framaroot uses a bug to get Root access and root the Device.Maybe the update has been fixed.Try to downgrade your Software and root again.

I don't have the device, so I can't really help directly, but I mean, there's a picture guide with stuff circled that you need to do. If it's too complicated then it would be wise to invest in having a qualified shop or tech to help.

I will try that later, thanks
How is downgrading any easier than the root guide for the current version you're on...?
I think rooting via Fastboot is safer than framaroot.

I provided the link to what you need already. It's on the 2nd post of the thread. It has a step by step with pictures. You need to unlock the bootloader and install the custom recovery so you can install the superuser zip. If you can't follow the picture guide, then you should really enlist the help of someone who does this for a living since this is your only tablet and are very unsure of yourself.

I reread everything and I think I now understand what I need to do. Correct me if I'm wrong: unlock the bootloader, flash the custom recovery and Install supersu.zip. Can you tell me how I install the supersu.zip?
Thanks for everything.

Are you serious? The first response in google states exactly what your after with regards to could not verify.
Why should I spend time telling you something that has been list many times and fairly easy to find on google or xda if you do a little research.
Edit
Google also gave me this about your other question about the 12 update http://www.xperiablog.net/2014/11/...2-and-z2-tablet-likely-carrier-bug-fix-update

Search for OEM information about firmware flashing, maybe it uses fastboot, you can easily fix it.

Hi there! this is my first post on the xda forums! I'd post in the galaxy j3 forum but I need a higher post count to make a new thread there,
I had recently bought a samsung j3 phone (model sm-j320w8) from a local kjiji site... the original owner however failed to provide me with his original gmail account. so now when I try to enter my gmail it says something along the lines of "please login with the owners e-mail account" or something
I have no idea what the original gmail was that was used with this phone
I paid $100 for this phone and can't even use it!
is there any way to bypass this or something? Please help me xda! I'm sooo frustrated
I tried to reinstall firmware using kies and even Odin with the marshmallow 6.1 .tar files... and it hasn't worked
I've tried to follow other google security bypass videos and tutorials online but they don't seem to work with this model (j320w8) they're all for j320f etc etc but nothing for j320W
someone help! :crying:

Here is an other way: https://www.progeeksblog.com/bypass-factory-reset-protection-on-samsung-devices/ ... please report
Is it rooted? There will be higher chance if it is by far I know most needed.
Strange why won't the seller remove his account before sell it to you?
Maybe you can ask for refund

We are not your servant!
The way you are asking is difficult to agree with.
I let you get needed skill with Google search. You get so many existing topics.
If you don't want to mess up your device, just use it as it was intended. Don't unlock the bootloader, don't install custom recovery, don't install custom ROMs, don't install Magisk or other root solutions.

For now there is no know way to unbrick the device other then a Authorize account from mi. You need to have a Authorize account or need to visit service center. Best way to not brick your device by double checking everything your going to do.
The only way to answer the question the way it was asked is:
If you have a bootloop, you made something wrong before.
It doesn't make sense to list here now every single thing that could lead you to a bootloop or a bricked phone.
When you are in such a situation, open a thread, write all possible details what you have done before the bootloop/brick, and hope someone could help. ?
First and most important thing: be sure if you have curtana or joyeuse device and be sure that the thing you wanna put on your device IS for that model.
I think that's a good start, cause Xiaomi still messing up the names of their different devices ?
But as written before, if you wanna be safe, don't play around with your device with rooting, flashing custom firmwares etc. ?

Yes indeed you are not my servent. But neither are those who make roms for us. And about that Google search . I have seen a lot of confusion like flashing wrong rom or not formatting data etc caused a issue. So I just wanted to know what went wrong with specific instructions of what not to do.

Okay I understand now. I think I will have to wait until a proper unbrick tutorial is out.
I have bricked a joyeuse it does not enter through any bootloader. I brickie it by loading twrp. By EDL gives; Sahara Fail Error In QFIL / Miflash Authorized Account I have tried loading all kinds of ROMs... Obviously I still need to test the one that works Help please! Thanks!
You need authorised account ie. you need to pay someone with that account to do the edl flashing.
