[Q] Anyway to know what your stock rom was?

Hi,
I am a noob to XDA and this is my first post, please dont be mean!! I recently bought a galaxy s2 unlocked version from amazon.com and when i received it i flashed in the new leaked jellybean rom:
Android version: 4.1.2
Baseband version: I9100XXLS6
Kernel version: 3.0.21-462349
[email protected] #3
SMP PREEMPT
Build number: JZO54K.I9100XXLSJ
After flashing this new rom my IMEI number had been reset and i am currently getting no network service. The samsung SRS tool is not picking up my phone for some unknown reason to let me reset the IMEI number. Before flashing the new rom i did not take stock of what the original rom was!! Is there anyway to know what the stock rom was before flashing?
Please help!!!!
Well if it was the factory unlocked version, my guess is you had stock unbranded gingerbread.

When you say, your IMEI number has been reset, I think, the efs folder got corrupted. its where the phone data like IMEI number is stored.
And if you want to flash stock kernel, you can visit this site, but I'm not sure how you can retrieve this efs folder data.

Hereticnine.
Your IMEI is also printed on the sticker beneath your phones' battery.
Your probably seeing the sim lock bug and getting confused. if you flash the leaked JB rom your sim lock will be enabled so you will need to use a unlock app.
Use search, we have plenty of topics that cover this since JB leak.
and then some.....

yea i know it is but the imei number behind the battery and the one i am seeing when i dial *#06# are different. i am seeing alot of 9999's and 000's in it..when i googled it i saw it was some sort of manufacturer's default imei or something. i flashed in an unbranded uk rom xwlp7 but when i try to root it using cf-root it is not working now!!!

[Q] Samsung Tab 10.1 3G P7500 - incorrect IMEI number

Hi guys,
I would be grateful if anyone can help or point me in the right direction to resolve the IMEI issue with my P7500.
I have no idea why the IMEI number on tablet (IMEI number: 0049....00, as provided by about->status) is different from the IMEI number written on the back of the tablet (first few digits 3577...). Please note that the IMEI number written on the back of the tablet and on the original box match!
My tablet is still under warranty and I have only flashed custom ROMS and used odin to flash original ROMS.
Any ideas or suggestions please?
Thank you

Did you backup EFS folder? after rooting it's a must.
Try to flash original rom for your tablet, and if your imei is the same(0049....) only service center will rewrite back your original IMEI)- but this is not cover by your warranty....

[Q] Imei changed after flashing rom!!

Hey guys, just registered to post about a problem I've encountered with my galaxy s3 i9300. I rooted my phone and flashed cyanogen mod 10.2. After this everything looked good but then I realised that my mobile network wasn't working. I searched around the web for a few weeks now and found out that the problem was my imei number. My IMEI number changed to 004999010640000 from the official number under my battery and I couldn't find out how to restore it. Apparently I should have backed up my EFS folder before the rooting process but I didn't know.
Is there any way to restore my current IMEI number back to the official IMEI number without the EFS folder?
I'm new to this sort of stuff and I would really appreciate it if somebody could tell me something about this problem..Thanks in advance!!

ill share my experience with you, but i can't guarantee that it will work for you. I was on a Samsung 4.1.2 ROM. I flashed a Samsung 4.2.2 ROM, which had a modem change option (cant remember which one i selected). The result was my IMEI being change to 004xxxxxxxxx as well. I reflashed the 4.1.2 ROM, my IMEI went back to normal. Then i reflashed the 4.2.2 ROM and selected "do no change modem". My IMEI stayed normal when i reflashed the 4.2.2 so i assume it has something to do with the modem.
You change yours by any change?
Don't know if this will help you, maybe someone with more experience can.

[Q] I9300 - Unlock Code error

Hello,
I have samsung galaxy s3
Model number : GT-I9300
Android Version : 4.4.2
Baseband Version : I9300XXUGNA8
Kernel Version : 3.0.64-CM-g992f0e8
[email protected] #1
Cyanogenmod version : 11.0
I have called to get a code to unlock my phone but It doesn't work, I've also paid on a website to get a code but it's the same as the first one.
I still have my IMEI what's wrong ? I'm under Cyanogen and even when I was on 4.3 - I9300XXUGNA5 It didn't work too
How can I fix that ? Thanks
Go back to the correct stock firmware for your country, factory reset then try again. If it's a valid code and your efs isn't damaged then it should work.

Hmm..It doesn't work
is there a way to check if my efs is damaged ?
I'm so desesperate, I don't know what's wrong... All of this because of that stupid 4.3 and I forgot to save my efs folder before the update
and thing is I've tried to put the code more than 10 times, and why my phone is still not blocked ?
This is so weird...

What is the build number and how important is it?

I rooted my S2 about 1.5 years ago, so I dont remember exactly what I did with the build number, but now i want to sell it thus returning it to stock ROM, the thing is I cannot find a match of my build number i9100xxlpx, so what should I do?
