Hi I’m trying to connect my Chinese android idrive controller (the one from the 10.25 inch headunit) to my joying 10.5 inch headunit.
It has 4 pins, Signal, Illumination, 12v and ground
So far I’ve tried to connect it via key 1, it is working a bit, but as long as the controller is connected I can’t use my steering wheel controlles.
Now I’m trying to figure out how to connect it to Canbus so both the steering wheel controlles and the idrive controller is working.
Has somebody done it bevor?

Hello Guys!
I am wondering how difficult would it be today to use our current Android tablets as an head unit in a car????
In the past people have attempted it with okay end result! but today we have very powerful tablets and the best part is they're equipped with USB-C. How hard would it be to use generic backup cameras that are meant for regular head units convert it into an USB input?
I am a car enthusiast and i have few classic cars! I don't want to remove the stock head unit and ruin the look! Instead I can use magnetic mount to hold the tablet!!
I would simply like to have a USB-C dongle underneath the dash to which a usb camera will be connected and also power. The USB-C dongle will connect to the table via USB-C port and provide power and camera input. we can simply press a camera logo on the tablet to get the backup image or figure out a way to place a trigger on reverse lights whenever they're on meaning you put your car in reverse and reverse lights gets 12V so will the trigger and automatically bring up reverse camera image to front on the tablet! I know this isn't an insane idea or most difficult thing to do! But I am willing to fund this project for myself and for the sake to fellow car enthusiast & Non-enthusiast who can benefit from this! Since in todays age reverse cameras are considered safety & mandatory equipment!
Thanks a lot In advance!!

Following.
There’s a guy in a FB post wanting to charge $450
I was looking for the same and landed here. After looking at your pics it is a completely separate head unit, and it isn't $450. Here you go:

Last week I retire the development of our KTV system software on Amlogic S812 and move forward to Allwinner H6 but now encountering an issue that Netflix doesn't play video on the second screen connected to the HDMI port. Tried to hack the build.prop but no luck.
I'm able to install Netflix-4.16.4_build_15215.apk or even com.netflix.mediaclient_8.28.0_build_4_40234-40234_minAPI24(arm64-v8a,armeabi-v7a,x86,x86_64)(nodpi)_apkmirror.com.apk on H6 but can only see video on the on-board LDVS interface, HDMI interface just outputs texts, no video.
Any clues?
Thanks in advance,
Nuno

Noted with thanks
I wonder whether that could we receive satellite tv channels (c-band and so on) without any extra antenna and without internet only by 5G chipset reverse engineering ? If yes, As I am not programmer, would you please let me know how it would be possible to write and make driver and software for watching satellite tv on any Samsung android smartphone that you have it ?
Thank you very much.
