Project: Exynos-Linux-Stable- Exynos-Linux-Stable is an organisation on GitLab & GitHub containing upstreamed linux for some of the latest flagship handset from SAMSUNG like the S7, S7E, S8, S8+, Note 8, S9, S9+, Note 9 and the S23 Ultra (SNAPDRAGON) kernel upstreamed to be inline with respective linux branches.
What does this bring?
- All of the devices mentioned above uses Long Term Support (LTS) releases, they are like old softwares.
- LTS releases are supported through their specified support duration by security updates, bug fixes, backports, and new device drivers, just like a regular release.
So updating or up-streaming your device's kernel brings many improvements talking security, performance wise etc...
How do I use?
If you are a developer, the reference tree is located in the exynos-linux-stable organization: https://github.com/exynos-linux-stable
This can either be merged into your existing kernel tree if you have one or be used as a fresh base. You do not need my permission to use it nor do you need to give me credit (although it would be appreciated).
If you are a user, ask your kernel developer KINDLY to use this source for his kernel that has all the changes added in!

Note
The current source is strictly stock OSRC -- NOT MODIFIED
- For now this source is available to check Samsung kernel changes over each firmware update.
Developers working on S23 Ultra are welcomed to check and build this source or even keep it as reference to get back into, in case users found a performance/battery life regression as in some situation it can be linked back to some kernel changes.
TO-DO:
-Upstream this source to be inline with it's respective linux branch.

Seeing as none of the S23 series phone are Exynos...I'm going to call "Wrong forum".

I concur. I'll go ahead and send this to the Note 9 forum, since that's mentioned on @farovitus's list as the newest supported device.

Organization name is and will remain exynos-linux-stable "ELS" but the source is ofc as mentioned stock OSRC for S918B.

I've gone ahead and moved this to the S23 Ultra section, at the poster's request, since this is what is mentioned on @farovitus's list as the newest supported device.

LineageOS is the successor to the popular CyanogenMod ROM. With an emphasis on openness, community development, and improvement of the stock Android experience, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit Gerrit Code Review.
Features:
All Lineage features
Extra Goodies from me:
Pixel Themed UI
Pixel Launcher
Thunderching) (Fast charging)
KCAL
VoLTE Support
I started this ROM initially for my personal use, so removed few stock apps like calendar, email which I hate to use. Please don't request to add them.

Works very well !
Great job Thanks :good:
This is Great job ? Thanks
If this comes for J5 2016, I'd definitely try it, looks gorgeous! Great Job!
Excellent job, thank you for your patiente and make our old phones even look better.
Simply speaking, CAF ROMs should be better than AOSP based ones on phones that run on Snapdragon processors.

Except you missed one thing. ArrowOS isn't based on CAF's AOSP, but it only uses CAF hals and stuff, just like most of the other ROMs out there(all of them, you can't boot 99% of devices with qcom soc without a bit of caf in the mix). That CAF you talk about is in roms like paranoid android, which are based on CAF Android tags and not AOSP tags.

An amazing smooth Rom with no bugs so far, thanks for continuing the development for the A5 2016.

Hello... just one question: If I install bitgapps arm (the only one working, because others give too many problems), the camera crashes at start. Seems that it's caused because of the bitgapps, because if I don't install gapps, the camera works. The same happens with havoc os...
Pffff... After installing bitgapps, I cannot install anything because it says I don't have enough space, and that is impossible.

Android Open Source Project for Nokia 6.1
About AOSP
Android is an open source operating system for mobile devices and a corresponding open source project led by Google. This site and the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) repository offer the information and source code needed to create custom variants of the Android OS, port devices and accessories to the Android platform, and ensure devices meet the compatibility requirements that keep the Android ecosystem a healthy and stable environment for millions of users.
As an open source project, Android's goal is to avoid any central point of failure in which one industry player can restrict or control the innovations of any other player. To that end, Android is a full, production-quality operating system for consumer products, complete with customizable source code that can be ported to nearly any device and public documentation that is available to everyone.
Just as you can contribute code to AOSP, you can also contribute to AOSP documentation—and we want your input! Android's flexibility and ever-changing codebase means this site needs your feedback to keep content fresh, accurate, and relevant to Android implementors. We encourage you to check the changelog for details on recent AOSP updates and to report bugs or offer suggestions using the Site Feedback at the bottom of every page.

I really liked your firmware.
1. The Camera and GCam's are not working.
2. The device is not certified, so GPay does not work. - - Is it possible to fix it somehow? Maybe Magisk?
Thank you for your work.
I forgot to specify one more thing: The alarm clock, when it will be.... there is no display on the screen of its controls.
Error 1 after flashing I followed the instructions properly.
I'm in Android 11.R4 ROM
should I use specific TWRP or what ?
Used 3.4 and 3.3.1, but not work
