If anyone Owns the dopo td-1010 and still has all stock system apps there is a very easy way that you could really help me out! all you would have to do is install titanium backup and make a back up of every single app in the list (besides things you have installed) and then upload the backups somewhere for me . you can get titanium back up here: http://www22.zippyshare.com/v/86267062/file.html . you have to have the device rooted in order to use it. you can root the dopo td-1010 with this: http://sourceforge.net/projects/androidroot/ ( works perfectly on this device, i have done it myself) PLEASE if there is anyone out there that can help me with this PLEASE get back to me as soon as possible.
You scrath my back, and I'll scratch yours
I have the TD-1010, I can and am will to help you out here, but I am running into a problem you seem to have already figured out.
I was googling the Internets for drivers to TD-1010 for Windows, for the same program/script/batch file you were recommending for rooting the TD-1010. I need to get said drivers before I am able to root the TD-1010 and backup redistribute said OS to you my good sir. At current the script can't find the device without the drivers. Hopefully I'll hear from you soon so I can do you a favor in return.
PS do you have the problem with it randomly freezing, or is that just me...?

PS: , its been a while since i rooted it and cant seem to find the drivers i used, i am searching now, will post a link as soon as i find them.

I have never used titanium backup before, i thought that it would work, but it does not appear to actually back the applications up, just the settings and configurations for them or something. unfortunately, That will not help me fix this. it looks like the only way to do it is to use this app: http://www15.zippyshare.com/v/78017991/file.html . it is called "root uninstaller pro". i didnt want to ask someone to use this if i didnt have to because it is how i messed mine up, but if you make sure not to delete anything while your in there and just back everything up it will not harm your device at all. im a dumbass and started removing stuff i didnt really know what it was and then i lost my back up so i could not reinstall. thank you again for all the time you have taken on this already. would you be willing to use the root uninstaller program to make proper backups that will work for me?

i think i figured it out,
lol... i just had to resresh the app list and then they were there to restore.
YAYYYYYY!!!!!
It worked! I can not tell you how much I appreciate it! thank you so much.
So I looked up info on both backup programs, and they are both equivalent to using the add/remove OR uninstall feature of windows. I used Nandroid for the full images you already should have the link to my drop box. Since this is a full copy of my system I do require you not distribute it and remove any of my account settings you may find. Feel free to keep any of the apps I have already installed (they were all free anyways). Good luck

PS I think I now know that my power adapter is making my device freeze since it only happens when plugged in, I think.

Drivers
IMaybe a little help? I have been following your post and cannot seem to get the drivers to install. I have tried on both w7 and xp. Both computers see it in usb mode but once switched to usb debugging and directed to the driver file you posted it gives me the error the error message incorrect drivers. Any suggestioned would be greatly appericated.
Titanium back up creates compressed file with apk.gz extension. That is where the app is and you can use 7zip or your favorite util to get tin the install file which will have a .apk extension. Once you do that you can install the app. Copy the app to SD or via cloud drive like dropbox and install.
Hi Everyone,
Recently allot of random images popped up in my gallery, and i don't know how to get rid of them, because they point to a System folder. Here are some examples:
/System/etc/mrg_default_forms/ this is the common rood, followed by:
-MyGuide/MyGuideBoard/Initial/02/res/dreawable/
-ConciergeBoard/card_forms/birthday_noti_no_contact/res/drawable-xxxhdpi/
-QvoicePlus/sms/
Can anyone help me get rid of them without rooting my phone? it's not that i don't want to root it, but i don't want to lose the warranty.
If you need more information please let me know, i appreciate any ideas.

Have you tried factory resetting and wiping internal storage? Those might be thumbnails or some app might have created this crap. Make a backup of ONLY those folders / pictures which do not lead to that path.

Dude,I was looking for an easy solution, it's like saying a game dies not work, well you can always reinstall Windows...
Dear guys,
I accidentially deleted around 70 GB of videos and photos on my Galaxy S6 128 GB (SM-G920F, Android 6.0.1, G920FXXU3DPDP). I was so stupid to try to move the camera folder instead of copying it to the computer and since the process was aborted it was gone from my phone and not on my computer. I'm missing a lot of family pictures and videos that were very very valuable for me.
My phone is rooted (odin) and the root works properly. I tried several recovery programs, some are working in general and are requesting supersuser rights (like phone paw android recovery) - but can't find any of the deleted images and videos. Others (like Wondershare Dr..Fon Android recovery) do not work properly (it gets superuser rights but in the last step before scanning the phone it tries to get (other?) super user rights that are not properly requested).
I should be gratefull for any kind of help. Please let me know if you need any additional information. It would be the biggest present to get back any of the many photos and videos I lost.
Best,
Sonstiger
Or does anybody have an idea where I could find help? The photos and videos are precious memories of my daughter and two holidays.
Thankfull for every help!
An addition: I wouldn't mind if the procedure to recover (part) of the photos / videos would break my phone.
you didn't have any back-up solution? try some photo recovery apps from play Store like: DiskDigger or DigDeep Image Recovery, i can recover almost all deleted photos but have no experience abt recover video
In the past I've had phenomenal success with Dumpster: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.baloota.dumpster&hl=en
Of course I can't guarantee anything, as file deletion and recovery is a bit.... weird. However, with Dumpster I've been able to recover many photos on multiple occasions, even really old ones (months, maybe even a year for a few of them) I had forgotten I had deleted. I didn't even have it installed before deleting said photos either. That being said, since your photos/videos are freshly deleted, it may work out for you.
Good luck!
Thanks ubergeek77.
Unfortunately, Dumpster only recovers files that have been deleted after Dumpster has been installed. So it can't help in my case.
Any other ideas?
And there are some more promising tools for the PC. E.g. I tried Wondershare Dr.Fone for Android. It scans my phone (with superuser permission). But not a single photo / video of the ones that I deleted (70 GB) are found. What could be the problem here? Anybody out there who can help me and finds the time to reply?
Connect your phone to your Pc and try some recovery software like EaseUS..... (this is not a free software but you can install trial version).
hope it help.
Next time, if the transferring process is aborted , just undo and get back your file right from PC.
None of this tools found relevant photos or videos from the 70 GB i lost. I will now try to get an image of the data partition to recover the files on PC. Anybody can help me here?
I was now able to copy an image of the data partition on my computer -- using Photorec I could scan this partition for lost files. Unfortunately only undeleted or not relevant files were found. None of the files of the 70 GB deleted pictures and videos. But there have been tousands of files (from 4 MB each) extraced with the file extensions ".elf" and ".sqlite". I assume that these files are my lost photos and videos and that they, for any reason, cannot be assigned correctly .
This may be related to the file system ext4? Or the blocksize? Or any other reason related to the fact that these files were not deleted the standard way but while trying to move a to big folder to my PC.
What can I do here? I would be gratefull if any expert here being familiar with the ext4 filesystem or Android partititions could help me in any form. Please let me know if you need an additional information.
Looking forward to any reply. Thanks!

Very sorry! I totally misremembered what app I used. I just checked, and it was definitely DiskDigger, it works without having been installed first, and works even better with root: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.defianttech.diskdigger
Sorry for the confusion!
The results I mentioned were with root, so that may be something to keep in mind.
Also, I'm not 100% sure if TWRP backups are 1:1, but you should research a way to make a complete raw filesystem backup of your device if DiskDigger doesn't work. The more you use this phone, the more you risk losing some of those photos. With a raw disk image, you could mount it in Linux and throw every recovery tool you can find at it.
Best of luck. If I run across anything that may help, I'll be sure to post it here.
Recover Deleted Data From Galaxy Phone
It is quite sad to hear that your 70 GB data is deleted. But, don’t worry here are few steps which will help you to recover your deleted data from your Galaxy phone. Even I have tried out these steps and recovered my deleted data. Here, are the steps:
1. Connect Your Android device
2. Choose file types to Scan
3. Scan your device to find the lost data on it
4. Preview and recover deleted data on Android devices
Hope that these methods work for you. For more information go to:

Hello all,
I recently tried to flash some new firmware on my Exynos Galaxy S9+, and before doing so I backed up my data on my PC using the Samsung Smart Switch desktop app. After doing so, I decided to revert back to the old firmware, and restore the backup I had saved. The problem is, whenever I hit the "restore" button on the Smart Switch desktop app, I simply get a message saying "Restoring the S9+ data has been cancelled." with the only option being "confirm". I have searched on google and nobody seems to be having the same issue. Is there a fix for this, because I really need to get my data back.
If it helps, I know exactly where the backup folder is located, it's just restoring from the backup that's giving me issues.
Thanks!

YES! I got it after 3 hours of struggling. Now the process finally started. I hope no more obstacles will be on the way.
I had cleaned my S10 to factory settings and i had the same problem as you.
In my case i had to update Smart Switch on PC (not from app interface - it didnt work, but i had to download new version of app from samsung site).
I also did something before, I changed back the folder of backup on PC into default one (previoulsy i manually changed it). Maybe this helped too.
Good luck!
Hi everyone,
Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but I am running out of ideas.
I have lost some important photos on my Samsung Galaxy S9+ and I have tried a couple of photo recover apps such as diskdigger, dr.fone, to name a few and they do not find them. It says to perform deep scans i need to root. Is there any app or pc software I could use to do deep scans on the internal memory of my phone?
P.s. I've looked at ways of rooting the phone but I'm confused, was looking at using twrp and magisk but not sure how to start as I read somewhere samsung phones have their own flash software.
Thanks for any support
If I recall correctly, rooting any Samsung phone requires a hard reset, so that's probably a worse idea lol
Why not check if they're in the "thrash" folder in your gallery, if you have it on
Or check if you have sync on on any of your photo apps
Cheers, ive checked the trash folder and its empty so they must have gone outside the last 30 days, and until this weekend I never synced my photos with the cloud (rookie mistake I know)
Guess they are gone forever

Usually, if the deleted photos not being overwritten by new data, such data recovery softwares can help us recover them back. But before that, we need to root it by using samsung root app. You can search such root apps online and choose the one you like better. Then it can help you scan out all data on your Samsung Galaxy S9+ and recover them back. Please note: If the deleted photos are overwritten, there is no way to recover them back.
