Since there will be no more updates after Android 13, it would be great for our users if a developer would please start making roms..

Hi.
I don't know if this is the right place for posting or not. But I just wanted to share it with you guys.
I was a fan of Simple AOSP ROM on my Nexus 4 back in the day. According to me, it had all the essential features for a ROM.
Now I have switched to OP2. The development of OP2 was very slow in the early stages but now it has picked up pace.
Keeping that in mind, I want to request someone to please build this ROM for our OP2. Since I have no idea or the time to build it myself, I would love to see someone take this up.
Here is the official source code - https://github.com/SAOSP-M

I'm not a developer myself but I do try and flash the roms on my OP2. Not sure if you yourself are a developer so please ignore if you already have checked these, but Paranoid android, Exodus are all aosp based.. and this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/orig-development/rom-aosp-caf-oneplus2-t3386553
I think is purely aosp-caf based.
I don't know if I'm out of line suggesting an alternative rom but, http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/orig-development/rom-halogenos-oneplus-2-t3377799
Similar to the suggestion above but is way more current. June security update, beta 2 released today.
Hi fellas,
i been following ZTE Forum and this news are going to make a lot of users happy...
Jyee (ZTE Employee) have created a Dedicated Sub-Forums for Custom Builds we can say,
https://community.zteusa.com/docs/DOC-1232
Community Builds - Version 2
Created by jyee Employee on Oct 24, 2016 4:38 PM.
Last modified by jyee Employee on Oct 24, 2016 4:42 PM.
This space is dedicated to developers who want to build custom ROMs for Axon and for consumers who want to discover and install them. Management of these projects and builds are up to the community - they are not managed by ZTE. However, ZTE provides access to information and resources to help enable those that want to customize or extend their Axon phone. If this applies to you, this is your space

Interesting find!!!
Heyo!
since the thread has been closed by the MIUI 9 Rom developer, is there anybody among the developers who will continue the development of the ROM in question?

There are 2 non xda devs who are doing miui 9 patchrom roms
1St http://www.manosp.com/archives/1220
- i tested it, fex chinas store apps and one additional settings in chinase, few languages
2nd http://www.romzj.com/rom/66843.htm
- i test it it too, same performance but multilanguage, and only CN are few store like apps
Both roms doesnt have Gapps, if you were interested i can debloat it and add gapps.. this roms are patchroms.
Please, I am also a big fan of rom miui, who I consider the best with the closing date of providing me the developer link or if any other xda user will continue with the miui project
fully agree with you the MIUI is the most beautiful among the released roms.
If you can do this and open a new thread you would certainly be greatly appreciated, the MIUI rom was very popular. Currently, version 9 of the MIUI works well, but it is always possible to improve with new versions that add new features that are continuously released.
Hi,
Iv'e read a few guides on ROM development and they all were really great, hats off to them :good:
So what I wanted to request was how about a guide to make ROM's with Oreo GO Source since it is compatible with most of the low end devices? It'll help beginners/newbies to start building ROM's for their phones and will encourage them
All the best guys:good::good:
I want a Oreo Go specific guide too.
How's it going everyone, usually I would dive into dev previews, but seeing as I use my device for work now I sadly can't test it yet. How's it working, any features worth installing it for, and also root.ect working or has Google patched us out again?
