Hi modders and non-modders.
I would i like to know if there is any possibility to re-enable the overlay permission as i have a feeling that it has been disabled by the makers of this device and is it possible to downgrade or change the OS on this device from Android 11 to a lower version.
i also want to root this device as i have tried with various free rooting apps and have terribly failed. if there is anyone here that can help me it would be greatly appreciated thank you

Hello I am new to Xda and android world
My problem is that I have accidentally changed
sdk version to 16 and android version to 4.2.2 without backing up anything
Now my problem is that I can't open any app I download (force closes) even playstore works only when downgraded to android market.
I would have changed it back but I can't access any file manager.the apps which are working are the system apps e.g browser, android market. Some other apps.
I want if someone can provide me with the stock build prop file for Xperia neo v and possibly how to put it back.
I'm already a bit familiar with adb but I can't get into recovery of neo v(don't know the key combination).
I only have rooted xperia neo v.if custom rom is an option please guide me through all the steps
I got the build prop file from the system dump of Madfysh(thankyou)
but how am I supposed to replace it with the one I made changes to. Because the super user force closes also so I can't get root privileges.I found a root file manager which doesn't force closes but without root privileges I can't replace build prop.I also have a build prop editor with which I can reverse the changes I made but super user is not letting it save.I Need help from someone PLEASEEEE........
Tell me what should I do .......
I can't use Adb cause my phone is not identified by my pc!!! I don't have a good USB so everything has to be done from the phone.
If someone can help me how to get into recovery mode and if someone can give me a flashable zip of xperia neo v stock build prop then please help me.
Plz see my post and help me:'''(
Anyone???????Plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz help me plzzzzz help :'(
I even realised i made a backup but super user is force closing on every root app.
Plzzzzzz help me if there is a way into the recovery mode.
I have got about 70+views but no one is helping so plzzzzz help
Hello Guys,
I use to much information from this forum, but now I really need your help. This is what happen to me. I bought and Alcatel Fierce, when i try to put all my stuff(pictures, apps, etc) from my oldest Galaxy Ace, I used titanium backup, but i forget uncheck apps from the system so Titanium put apk´s in system/app in the Alcatel Fierce... ¿Results? Does not work Dialer, contacts, play store, Calendar... When power on, the message "unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stoped" popup.
What i Tried?
- Factory Reset
- I read to much and Flash Stock Rom is not an option, because no one have this rom(even T-mobile, or not realese in easy way)
- Put apk´s manually, downloaded from internet(FOR THIS IS MY REQUEST TO SOMEONE WHO CAN HELP ME):
Here i get some advance to fix this problem, the dialer works with a dialer.apk downloaded from internet, so i think someone who get this same phone maybe can get a copy of all apps from (system/app/) and lend me that backup.
The system information of my phone:
Original Carrier: T-mobile
Model:Alcatel one touch Fierce
Firmware: 4.2.2
Build Number: L2RUMR0
I appreciate to all people who can give me some help or ideas to fix this; if someone have this phone i sincerely thank to help me to try this metod to fix it.
Thanks for your time
PD: Sorry for me english, i dont know if its understandable, i just write this based on hours of read and use logic sentences. Obviously im not speak english (yet:fingers-crossed

Hello
I request your help because i am very desperate about making Dodonpachi and Espgaluda working on my android devices...
Lite versions are fully working, but the paid apps don't works. They are showing "Autentification of application failed, try to reinstall from market", so i can't download the game data.
I also tried by installing APK , remove the license verification with lucky patcher but without any luck... (lol)
I tested this on my LG G2 4.4.2, and my Nexus 7 4.3.
So can anyone give me a fix please ? Or maybe upload the full apk (Dodonpachi) ?
I would be very grateful
Thank you
Nobody has the installation files ?
I know this is already old stuff, but for these gems to be lost forever for android users it is unacceptable. Is the there no possible way to play this games on android?
Hello,
I will start by apologizing if this is the wrong thread to ask my question and for any and all grammar mistakes it may contain.
I am interested if , on a rooted phone , the check granting carrier privileges to an app can be bypassed.
The reason is quite simple , I need to test the native visual voicemail for an upcoming project and the customer is stuck in negotiations for pushing it's app to the Store.
My questions are:
Q1: Is is possible to bypass the check and edit the relevant keys directly?
Q2: Is there already such an app?
Q3: If not what is the process for requesting such an app/process ( I'm doing this with a limited budget but I will try to make it worth your time ).
Thank you!
Hi
Since I can't post links yet, just google "UICC android" and folow the link "UICC Carrier Privileges | Android Open Source Project" for more detailed information.
Carrier privileges are only set when the certificate you use to sign your .apk is the same as the one loaded into specific SIM applet. This means that in order to have your app get that permissions, your client needs to have your app certificate sent via OTA to the simcards that you want the app to work with.
Other than that, you would need to have your application installed as a system app, which means your app would have to be signed with the device manufaturer's certificate.
