Hi all,
Does anyone know of a way to view the current zram or compressed ram, or even check if it's turned on? I've got abd and shell access.
Non rooted.
It might not be possible I guess.
Cat /proc/meminfo and free commands haven't helped at all sadly.
Many thanks
use command free

see "Swap" line for zram info (please turn off memory-extension(内存扩展) in system settings for some xiaomi or other high-end devices)
On my N10+'s I use DevChek. Seems to show it.

Thanks guys, so yeah I did try the free command before, and that seems to output the same as that devinfo app. It says I have 2251MB despite having the "ram" boost option on or off... (I am rebooting between toggle).
It's strange, when it's off it doesn't show the "+2GB" in the app switch screen.
Performance wise there seems to be 0 difference so I'm going to guess there is either:
"Ram" boost is on all of the time at 2GB of swap?
There is 251MB of ZRAM?
There is 2251MB of ZRAM?
For info the phone has 4GB of physical RAM.
thanks
I think both zram and ramboost are in the swap

It could be, so that means the disk swap of 2gb is active all the time regardless of the ram boost option selected?
Only 251MB of zram in that case, no wonder it relaunches apps and webpages constantly.
I'm tempted to unlock bootloader, root and add a couple of GB of zram to see if it is a big difference or not.

I use CM7 (nightly builds) and recently ran into a warning message about low internal storage, but I had about 2/3 of the total internal storage free (about 1 GB). Moving a couple of apps to the SD card made the warning go away but I'd like to know why the warning occurred when I appear to have so much space available. I can't just ignore it because sync stops when this warning occurs. Since going to a 32GB SD card is not a reliable option with this phone, I'd like to resolve the issue without resorting to wholesale transfer of apps to my existing 16 GB SD card. The screenshot below is my current storage after I moved a couple of apps, but the difference in free space now vs. when I was getting the warning is tiny.

I have had that also while getting apps from the market.. I ignore it and just try again and it works.. Don't know what the deal is.. I'm running pool party and glitch

this is a known issue on aosp based roms. if you check jt's posts here, you will find a post about /datadata being full, along with the fix. your /data partition is not full but another one, /datadata, is. as jt said, this will never be changed upstream, so either use the fix after every data wipe, or use less apps/move to sd all apps possible.
to confirm, open better terminal, or android term, and run df -h, look for /datadata, bet it's about %85 full.. Much beyond that you will start to get massive amounts of FCs, and it will make the phone nearly useless until you either use the fix or remove/move to sd some apps..
if this helps click thanks.
I want to know one thing, with the root and unlocked bootloader i can up the processor frequency again in the newest's firmwares with Kernel Adiutor for example? As we know Sony lowered down the processor clock in the newest firmwares, but this have slowed down the phone.
Sorry for the bad english
something you can do..Xd

rise Gpu from 400 (2.99,.147 firms) to 550mhz, +25%,but will fall some times for temp regulation, but you can improve how much with temp drivers,at same time improve the overall temp.
You can activate ZRAM and Init.d.
You can touch governors and schedules, and other tweaks of kernel,fs,etc.
You can improve, easy the battery consumption without lose performance. In the test of the photo, cpu temp was 57Celsius from cold.

This is the last firmware? How do you do that?
.112 or. 128 (.100 not test but I think would be close to 37.000) 2.99 and. 147 is waste the time.I have better temp, battery life and a 30% more performance.
I prefer 112,more bloatware,but more estable

Ahh nice, what firmware do you recommend for the E2363 model?
Equivalent to. 112 in your model. The bloatware you can remove with root. But is the same bloatware that any other free sim firm.

What settings do you use in that test( like cpu governor, temp drivers, cpu and gpu clock)?

Code:
neither I nor the forum we do for the partial and total damage of equipment
Information:
files provided you has been tested for more than 14 days some moderate use in achieving the not so normal temperature but moderate
Requirements:
Unlocked Bootloader
Root (SuperSU)
Root Explorer
Compilation: 26.1.A.3.111
Instructions:
- move the files to the path: /system/etc
- 0644 root permissions apply to files
- reset terminal
- download application Kernel Toolkit
- apply the following values
- and ready to enjoy
- They should use it without 3G data for 24hrs and 24hrs moderately during use as enough recommendation xperia overheating M4 be reduced
Faq:
I can try some other compilation: yes
you need to open bootloader to test the mod: only been tested with open bootloader and probably to do with the root closed bootloader is lost so you have to test
Files in folder Profiles i should replace too?
Yes
Ok, thanks
Thanks
I think Change In temp a little
Here is a mod, just the post script for system / etc.
It applies all changes for our device, so you won't need an app to change cpu frequencies on boot.
The settings are a little bit different, this version works without a wakelock, better battery life and no random reboots (used it one day)
http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/5762cb99e306f/update1.zip
Instructions : install version from first thread (you need the profiles files) but the attached script.
If the device overheats it goes down to 400 MHz, and after cooling to minimum of 960, my settings say minimum 533 so overheat protection wins... But only the minimum value of big core, so this solution is acceptable.
Hello,
I bought this tablet :
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Plus-Recen...m43663.l10137&nordt=true&rt=nc&orig_cvip=true
CPUZ and DevCheck give me the same material as the datasheet :

https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img923/5386/YfIH6D.png

https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img921/4418/aRNats.png
https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img923/8682/v3Id9F.png
But everything is wrong ! For example it is supposed to be 128GB of internal memory, when I plug the tablet on a PC there is supposedly 115GB of free :
https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img923/1643/8i1iau.jpg
But when I copy 10.8GB above ... I only have 8.25GB left ! :

Is there an app that can give me the actual hardware of this tablet ?
Sad that these faked ones exist. You should make a complaint to ebay.
At least it wasn't that expensive.
Start it by holding Power and Volume Down down. It should go to the factory menu.
Using vols and power choose the version info, 版本信息 in Chinese.
Then you might get some info about the SoC at least.
About everything can be faked in these... if one is, then probably most of the specs are faked...
There is a way removing the faking data on proinfo partition but some of those values are needed...
Edit: Other factory menu items ---- Chinese - English (google translate)
工厂模式 - Factory mode
自动测试 - automatic testing
手动测试 - Manual test
单项测试 - Single test
测试报告 - testing report
调试测试项 - Debug test item
清除eMMC - Clear eMMC
版本信息 - Version Information
重启手机 - restart cellphone
关闭手机 - Turn off the phone
thank you !
Actually via the factory menu / 版本 信息 I have a MT6582 :

I will contact ebay ... because in addition the tablet crash one time out of 2 on videos (h264 720p or 1080p) with all players tested ...

Try A7 clean.sh
I flashed same only slight improvement but A11 was much better
THE SOLUTION:
Enable USB Debugging on your pone
With your phone connected to ADB on your computer, copy and paste the following command into the terminal:
adb shell settings put global ram_expand_size_list 0,1,2,4,6,8
Reboot your phone.
Once it's switched back on, navigate to Settings > Battery and device care > Memory and open the RAM Plus menu.
Before running the command, you had the option to change how much virtual RAM you use, ranging from 2GB to 4GB.
Now you should see the option to set it anywhere from 0GB to 8GB or 16GB, depending on your device.
Choose 0GB from the list, and reboot your phone as prompted.
Once it's up and running, you should notice smoother animations, better-sustained performance, and a more consistent experience overall.
Source or Screen shot?
No improvement on my device
Edit:- Improvement seen after disabling RAM plus from 4GB to 0GB.
I've faced bad lags at 1.8GB RAM usage or more been like stuck in a limbo usually reboot is the answer but now I don't think that would be needed after this.
