Hi to everyone!
I have an old Huawei Ascend Y530 lying around, but I can't use it. The problem is that when I last used it, I thought it would cool to reset the phone by using the hidden Android Menu, when you hold down one of the volume buttons and the power button. I didn't understand anything though. I probably deleted the whole Android partiton. After that, when turned on, the notification LED would blink in red, blue and green, but that stopped after some months, probably because the battery died. It isn't completly dead though because when plugged in, it shows up as "QHSUSB_BULK" and after driver installation as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008". According to ChatGPT, it means that the phone is in Download Mode. I already tried getting the phone back using Qfil, but it always fails with the error "Download Fail: FireHose Fail: FHLoader Fail: The system can't find the specified file"(or similar, I had to translate it). When using an older version of Qfil, the error "Download Fail: Sahara FailSahara Fail". I'm really running out of ideas by now and if anybody knows anything about recovering that phone using Qfil, please give me some advice or if you have the necessary files, please leave them here!
Thanks in advance!
(and I hope it doesn't matter that the screenshots are in german)

Hi everyone, I have the unfortunate moment of having a failure during an update by LG PC Suite. Initially it was stuck with the picture "Downloading mode", but as the update keep failing at 4%, I read some online threats to press the volume up and power, and now I regretted it. I am stuck with the phone being detected as "hsq-usb dload", no way to go back to the "Downloading mode" picture, even though I tried pressing combinations like volume up+volume down..etc...
I did a search and found alot of people having the same problem, but unfortunately, I am unable to find a solution that fix mine. So far I have installed the Qualcomm hs-usb qdloader driver and it shows up under Device Manager as Port 8.
I have tried the following:
1) Using QPST, detected as phone in "Downloading mode", but I do not know how to proceed as the images and hex files online are not for my model. In addition, it requires the SPC code...so....
2) Using a trial version of CDMA workshop, it detects my phone as "Downloading Mode". I tried to use it to switch modes to Reset or Power Off, but it didnt work.
In addition, the trial mode does not allow me to "read" the SPC code. An earlier version of 2.7 is totally not able to "Read" my phone, showing all details as "Error:" when a read is attempted
3)Using Linux, Ubuntu (via VMPlayer). I was able to see it being detected under lsusb command, which shows as a qualcomm modem. I tried using scripts from various sources like brickdetect.sh, PblClear, lgL9FixBoot.sh ( I know these aren't for my phone, but I was desperate enough to try), and nope, it didnt result in any change in state of my phone.
I am not really a technical person (but willing to try), and I have spend 2 days trying and researching, and I am now out of ideas. As such, I am posting here hoping if anyone has any solutions? Thanks in advance!
Update as of 2 days of these trial: My phone has a solid amber light at home button when battery and usb (to computer) is connected, when pressing it, it goes from amber to red, to amber and vice versa again for around 1 minute, then it disappears. On my computer I see something disconnecting and connecting. In the end after 1 minute after the light disappears, the qualcomm hsqusb qdloader appears under Ports in device manage.
If I do not connect the battery and just connect via usb, the qualcomm hsq-usb qdloader appears under port without any flashing light on the phone.
my lenovo a7000 doesn't turn on, can't go to recovery mode. also my first hardbrick experience. desperate for help.
whenever i use spflashtools to download a fresh stock rom to my phone, it always shows this problem
"BROM ERROR : S_FT_ENABLE_DRAM_FAIL (4032)"
I've also tried to format it, but the same problem comes up.
Then I saw this vid. It's about fixing any bricked china phone.
"How to Unbrick every MTK China Phone ! Preloader / SP Flashtool Fix [HD]"
(pls search it on youtube if you like. somehow i couldn't post links.)
I don't know, but I think this vid is trying to fix those phones that aren't recognized by the PC. But mine is recognized. It comes up on the Device Manager as a MTK USB Port (COM10) with the battery on. But it keeps on getting disconnected and reconnected again. But this stops when I remove the battery, put the battery back on, click on download on the spflashtools, then connect the USB. The error will appear, but somehow the connection becomes stable.
Also this video talks about META mode. With the battery out, I tried all of the key combinations to enter this mode, without success whatsoever. If you know something, pls. share.

My Lenovo A7000 Does not turn on
While installing the official update marshmallow device switched of and then it does not turn on. If i put in charge then after sometime lenovo screen appears and the it shuts down again,. Cannot go to recovery mode also. The lenovo screen shows TOOL Dl image fail in the left bottom side.
How can i solve this problem Please someone help me:crying::crying::crying:
So a friend came to me with this phone in hopes of me fixing it for him. The phone doesn't turn on and I've concluded that most of his NAND partitions are corrupted as I can't enter fastboot or recovery. When I connect it to my PC it recognizes a Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM5) port in device manager. I first tried this method but the only thing what happens is that the phone turns on (screen light goes on but stays black), vibrates and shuts down again (I've tried putting it in fastboot or recovery mode with volume up/down + home button + power button while it does this but with no success).
Next thing I tried was this method (followed it step by step) and it turned out that I am stuck in the OLD “Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008” mode. After I follow the guide up to the point that I have to press 'Download' in QFIL, the program gives me the following message:
Code:
Download Fail:Unable to download Flash Programmer using Sahara Protocol
Download Fail:Sahara FailSahara Fail
I've included a log.
What else can I try to unbrick this phone?
I would really like to make my friend happy lol.
P.S. If anyone has a good link to the stock firmware of this phone (NLT/Netherlands region), please send me in a private message because I searched almost everywhere and all I found were fake or expired links.
I have a bricked LG v10 in Qualcomm 9008 mode. The only thing that appears on the PC is the qualcomm 9008 device in device manager. No lights on phone, nothing. I tried using Qfil to flash the phone, but i keep getting an error: 'device took 10.000 seconds to respond which is more than 3.000, this indicates your target is unstable. '
i am wondering if anybody knows what may be causing this. I bought this phone in craigslist for $25 and the owner said that it just died on him but he didnt know what was wrong. The phone is mint condition it just doesnt show any sign of life besides the recognition of it by the computer as Qualcomm HS-USB QDloader 9008

May be the phone remains in the 9008 mode for a short period of time. Try by loading files in the software beforehand so that u just have to press the download button as soon as the device is detected in 9008 mode.
Secondly kindly share qfil recovery files for v10 h901 model. Let me also try this by shortening the pins to boot phone in 9008 mode.
Hi there!
I have purchased a LENOVO L38111 smartphone which had its default ROM that I was trying to replace with another one. I've opened the Bootloader then I put TWRP on it. I've made a full backup with the TWRP in case an issue comes up, I could switch back to original system. I've installed Pixel Experience ROM following the instructions which was pretty pleasing to me, I've used it for a while. However, once I started the Waze app then I realised that the GPS is not working. I thought I have a full backup in the TWRP, a restore which was running appropriately, it got displayed that restoring was successful, restart.
Since then, it does not turn on, the screen is black. I've tried to restore my phone with the Qualcomm QPST program. I've installed QPST on PC, I've installed Qualcomm driver as well. If I connect the phone to PC with an USB cable, the USB Qdloader 9008 (COM8) driver gets displayed in tool manager, once I start QPST Configuration, then it says Q/QCP-XXX at the Active phone, however, in State, the progress signal goes up to approximately 20%. When I start QFIL, I choose the port (HS-USB Qdloader 9008 (COM8)), then the files from the default ROM but it says:
Download Fail:Sahara Fail:QSaharaServer Failrocess fail
Is it because the opened bootloader?
Do you have any idea what I can do?
Thank you in advance!
