*Dirt cheap phone, with mad specs.
Can it be rooted? By whom?
I'm guessing they serve ads, like Redmi.

Hi guys, my cousin needs a new phone and she has US$250 as max budget? what should I recommend her? it has to be unlocked and contract free and include the GSM 850 band.
Thanks,
If you don't mind android china phones clones, they are quite cheap and the latest MTK 6575 cpus that is used in china phones is a 1ghz (cortex A9) and powerVR gpu. I'm sure its better than the good branded counterparts at the same price. It's more like the risks involved when buying a china phones are the issue. But personally I think China phone clones are getting better.

When will Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 launch in India?
Will it launch with a Qualcomm CPU as opposed to the Mediatek CPU found in the Chinese model?
I am interested in buying this phone when it launches in India and with a Qualcomm CPU.
If it launches with Mediatek CPU, I ain't buying it..
"Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 with Snapdragon 625 coming to India in January"
Xiaomi is only allowed to sell Qualcomm products in India according to a source i found; when i was looking on why Xiaomi was banned from selling MediaTek based products (has to do with patents violations).
I want to know, i have a redmi note 4 mediatek. In india it'll be launched with quallcomm. If in the future there are custom roms for the quallcomm model, can i flash it on the mediatek model? Or will i need different roms? Cause if it ain't the same rom i'm going to sell mine
Sent from my Redmi Note 4 using Tapatalk
You can't flash roms that were made for the SD version of the phone on the Mediatek version unless you want to brick your device and currently there is no SD version of this phone anyway.
Hi, I am a Chinese user. I bought Redmi note 4X when found a "Jingdong special edition" only 16g ROM, Soc is also Qualcomm 625. Price is 799RMB, I later checked the information, this version is called "electricity for special edition."
I would like to ask, this power for special edition in addition to the Chinese mainland, as well as in other areas on sale?

So on my previous Huawei devices I was always able to use Nearby Share to quickly send photos. I currently have an x70 Pro Plus China Region Model. I cannot find an option to nearby share which is a big inconvenience for me.
My question is Which phone do you have X80 / X80 Pro? Which model do you have is it the global model running funtouch or is it the china model running Origin OS
Right now I'd like to upgrade to the X90 pro (Global) or X90 Pro Plus (China Model)
Unfortunately the Nearby Share option is definitely going to be the Decision maker for me, just to simplify photo sharing
