I have a XDA O2 , a mobile phone based Pocket PC 2002 Phone edition edition.
Now I reached a big problem . I have a really old RAS site. Normally I have
to enable 'Pop up terminal window after dailing...' in my laptop computer to
dail in it then I enter my user id and password . But now when I enabled
this option in my XDA, it always ask me the username and password first and
there is no popup DOS window popup after dailing. So how can I do due to
this special issue? And can I use some modem command script when I dail in
to get ride this problem?
Who has experence in this kind of problem or reached same situation? Pls
help me.

i have a problem with activesync , it seems that now connect to the PDA only as GUEST and i can't update any info
how to reset that type of connection ?
If it is connected as guest, just reinsert your device into the cradle. The active sync window will appear and ask you for the type of connection....

unfortunately not , it seems that everytime i connect it to the cradle , activesync connect it only as guest. It's weird because i didn't choose first time the guest account ...
Why do you think, your device ic connected as guest?
Have you checked yiur sync settings of active sync?

i found a workaround , with the activesync open , without the XDA insterted in the cradle , i removed every partnership and recreated

I did a file search using the device name and deleted all of those and bingo I could use the name again !!

I got a problem with activsync on my hero.I install activsync from my memory card , but i can't sycronise my phone, then i download the one from the web site and no succes. On my computer is comming out some message like wmisrsc.exe-no disk- there is no disk in the drive. Then i got the 3 option cancel, try again, and continue. I have been trying to go on application settings , development and to unmark usb debugging. Still the same...If i run the program activsync none of the icon is available. Is it wrong someting with my coputer? ( I use windows XP) . Thank you in advance

I had this problem too, I found that I had killed the task 'PC Sync' using a taskkiller... this cannot restart itselt without rebooting the device.
I don't know if this is exactly the problem you're having, but it is what I found with mine.
Give it a try... reboot your Hero and remember to not kill the task called 'PC Syncronisation'

Am I missing something here? You are talking about Microsoft's activesync? It aint gonna work.

You mean HTC sync? In that case sorry no suggestions as mine works fine.
As you can see, I'm a Senior Member; however, I've been "away" for a few months. I had an HD2, which was stolen. After reverting back to an old Nokia to get me through the "tough times," I bought a Telus HTC Desire (running Android 2.1) and had it unlocked.
This was my first time using Android. It's a nice operating system, but I simply cannot do many things I used to be able to do with my HD2. So, two weeks later I bought a new HD2. I still have the Desire if anyone's interested. It's in perfect condition, but that's not my reason for writing these words.
I've searched and searched and searched the forums with no avail. It has to do with Windows Mobile Device Center and error messages when I try to sync my HD2 with my PC.
Okay, I'll try to provide as much detail as possible.
First, I DO NOT USE EXCHANGE. I have only one email address set up using POP, and it works. I can get and send mail without a problem.
However, everytime I attach the HD2 to my PC via USB cable, Windows Mobile Device Center automatically starts the sync process. Sadly, though, I ALWAYS get the following error message: Exchange Activesync encountered an error ... blah, blah, blah, and nothing syncs.
Then, if I leave my HD2 connected, when the next automatic sync begins, there's no problem (most of the time). My Calendar and Contacts sync well.
I ONLY sync my Calendar and Contacts. Nothing else!
I've tried virtually every solution I've found on the Internet without success. I've tried syncing just one of the two items, either just the calendar or just the contacts, and then go back to both, but that does nothing to solve the problem.
I'm simply losing my mind with frustration. I cannot get that "darn" error message to stop. I simply want my device to sync with my PC (running Windows 7 64-bit). Yes, I'm using Windows Mobile Device Centre 6.1 for 64-bit systems. Yes, I've tried uninstalling it and re-installing it ... but still no success.
I've tried remove the partnerships and starting over again, but the same error message occurs.
HELP, HELP, HELP!

only advice would be performing a hard reset if you havent done it yet.

In response to your question, I ran your suggested command in a Command Prompt, but without success. I kept getting the following error message”
The module “C:\Windows\system32.exe\ole32.dll” failed to load. Make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent .DLL files. The specified module could not be found.
On a related note, pardon my ignorance, but what does it actually mean when someone says "with admin privileges?" I bought my laptop, I own it, no one else uses it, I have not set up anything special concerning more than one user since I have been and always will be the sole user of my laptop, so can I automatically assume I have admin privileges? If not, how can I change this, and why would I not have admin privileges? How can I confirm if I do or don't have admin privileges?

Hello, today i tried to setup remote shares that you can find under storage in settings i read tutorial on this website http://unsolicitedbutoffered.blogspot.com/2015/01/unsolicited-question-can-sony-xperia.html
So first of all, my remote shares setup menu is different (see screenshots and if possible upload screenshots of your menu so i can see if its maybe because i run android 4.3)
and when i click add host it dosent ask me if i want to setup windows or sftp, it just opens menu where i have to enter host info (this how it should ask me windows or sftp https://sasapetrovicblog.files.wordpress.com/2014/11/39.jpg?w=168&h=300 but it never asks me)
I tired to setup using both windows and freesshd software but both failed so i need help with two things:
1 can someone explain me how to make remote share on windows and then set it up to work with my Z Ultra
2 can someone help me to setup freesshd to work with my phone, i created user in software and entered all info in my phone but it always gives "could not connect to 192.168.1.2 please make sure that you have entered correct information for this host", i was able to connect to mini sftp server (http://www.coreftp.com/server/) but i want to use freesshd

Hello guys. Since 22H2 update, i have problem logging in my profile. I have to open my laptop one time (first it freezes in the log in logo after entering my password), then i have to close it and then to restart it to get access to my profile. Anyone knows something about this?

Hello, it happened to me too, but I fixed it first, I'll open the cmd in administrator mode and then you can from there repair a corrupt file that doesn't work for you, search more thoroughly
