I get the msg gsm error by booting with allaby boot loader after upgrade to 3.15.
And it does't any thing.
what happends ????

You have a problem with your GSM-Software. There are some hints, how to get it repaired, but none of them work under guarantee.....

Hi everybody
I have a big problem:
when i lost the gsm signal the phone is power off and never recive incoming calls ... until i'll power on again.
Is there some settings in order to search the gsm signal always...?
...cause i can't control the xda every 5 minutes if have signal or not...
I have 4.21 radio and 4.00.11 rom

have you tried a hard reset? or even re-writtin the bios?

I need your help .
I've downloaded the 4.00.16 ROM by mistake, it really didn't tell the ROM number, so now I want to revert to a earlier one and I can't.
I've got the following message: "ERROR: GetDeviceData - An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine.
error getting devicedata" and then "ERROR 011: EXECUTE REMOTE COMMUNICATION PROGRAM ERROR. Cannot execute the remote communication program. Please make sure that the USB/Serial cable is properly connected."
PLEASE HELP ME, I'M REALLY STUCK NOW AND DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO...

After flashing my XDA2 to WM5 3.5a, i've tried merging storage & extended rom to gain memory by following a thread on Airfagev. After doing a hard reset, i found out that my phone is not responding and all i can see are black horizontal lines on the screen w/out backlight. I tried soft resetting it but still it stays the same.
Though i can still put it on bootloader mode, it also wont finish reflashing and an error message appears that goes like this:
ERROR 100: Model ID Error
The ROM image you are trying to use is not designed to work with your Pocket PC.
Is there any way for me to fix this problem? I really need help from anybody who's knowledgeable enough in solving this problem coz' i am new in this field.

Do a search for "no GSM". you'll find lots of people with "No GSM" error and not many solutions to fix it. Try the suggestions though as there are some successes.
If you want to revive the PDA part, and the No GSM problem just won't go away, then flash a cooked rom that has no radio cooked in. Cant use as Phone but can use as PDA... Make sure you read MrVanx's flashing guide so you wont COMPLETELY brick your Hermes.

i have ATHENA 100 in T-MOBILE Ameo........ i update lot of rom's on my ameo with success . my phone status is: IPL-v1.00 SPL-v1.20. Olipro.
my bad luck i try to update with that rom (Athena_SPL3.5_WM6.1_WWE_R6.1-Michy) after 92% rom got error & phone restart. after that my Ameo hang on startup. i put my phone into usb mode by pressing CAMERA key + POWER & try to upgrade with lot of diffrent roms but i got ERROR[244] INVALID MODEL ID (pic attached below) plz help me how can i update my phone in working condition??>......................
Dear friend
I think you have to install the original rom on your phone , not another cooked ROM.
If you can do that , your phone will be downgrade to original spl .

my frnd i got the 100% same problem pls do let me know if u could get rid of it im also trying my best to solve this but im still there....
Set your wifi adress with Mtty software after that upgrade with original rom all ok.

hi my frnd but mitty is giving me an error msg could u pls let me know how could i get orginal rom and how could i flash it...
i tried to flash rom and now goes only in boodloader mode, nowhere else
now the ONBL is 1.07.0000 and SPL is 1.07.0000
S/N : SZ7************* A
so is my phone dead?
can anyone pls advise wat i should do?
