I am using an XDA upgraded to WM2003SE. It has been working great for 2 weeks with some minor gliches here and there. Suddenly today it will not sync. Tried soft and Hard resets to no avail. Can some one make a suggestion?

I think your information is not sufficient. Please check your outlook whether it is still active and that the sync account (account that you choose to sync your XDA with outlook) is still accessible. My gut is that the problem may not root in your XDA device, so do also check the outlook functionality.

It appears to be some kind of issue with the phone. I had recently upgraded to Active sync 4.0 and was able to sync once and that is when all the trouble started. I even tried removing Activesync from my PC and reloading it. When I attempt to sync the sync software comes on and makes the connection sound but my XDA does not respond with the connection sound like it had previously. Thanks for any help you can provide.

As much as i know, WM2003SE does not start automaticly on the Wallaby device.
Have you tried to run it manually on your device?

Yes, I did try that. I simply do not understand this. It had been working totally fine and then it just went whacky.
Still Can't Sync?????
Have benn working on trying to sync all afternoon. Iread the owners manual, tried setting up new syncs and nothing works. I did find an error message on the XDA under Activesync which reads: Unable to connect. Verify your dialup or proxy settings are correct, and try again. Does anyone have any ideas?
It looks like its trying to connect to internet.
In my Navbar under connectivity it shows my phone service and then under that it says The Internet and net to that it says PC connection. Could this be my problem? If so how do I change it so I can Sync again. Thanks in advance for any help.

after plug my startrek to usb activesync starts and identified it and the local network connected but after seconds it disconnect from the activesync.
i'd search all the net for a solution but not finding any.
mabey the drivers?

Maddening, I just went through the same thing. Drill down into Microsoft's site, there's some additional info on reconfiguring your usb port, it was just a button, on/off kind of thing so if it's X try Y and vice versa. That solved it for me, sorry I can't be more specific but I didn't write anything down. I did get the initial link from the activesync trouble shooter however.
in my case my firewall (zone labs) was the cause.

Hi, extract the Reg file from this Zip and run it on your PC, n reboot. Had a similar problem on mine, and it worked

Does this ROM disable ability to Tether?
I read over on PPCGeeks that this ROM disables the ability to tether, has anyone tried?
It does disable the tethering hack. It prevents the ForceCellConnection key from being changed from "Phone as Modem" to "Sprint". When you change it, it immediately reverts back to "Phone as modem" in the registry. I suppose either a process is checking it constantly, or there's a process by which reg edits can be automatically reversed, or it is read only, or ...
Here's hoping some smart person will figure it out. The touch improvements in this ROM are huge (finger scrolling); they make the device ten times easier to use.
I am happy they fixed a few bugs, but this also means Touch Pro is not getting a Windows Mobile 6.5 upgrade. Too bad.
the mini-usb connector on my phone broke, so I can't get an activesync or usb connection. It charges, but that's it. Is there anyway I can do the rom update through a memory card?

from my understanding, rom update can do only sync with PC. So, you cannot do it.

open HTC download with WinZip. Extracted NBH file to memory card
renamed NBH to RAPHIMG.nbh
inserted card
Hold Volume Down, Power, and then Rest
loads just fine. Also installed a Nascar and NFL app, in addition to changes as above.
that kinda sucks about the whole tethering thing, i shoulda looked on here before updating! but bluetooth may work for updating?? don't quote me though.

My Issues:
I downloaded the latest Rom Update for the Sprint Touch Pro and am having issues. First issue I found, with this update I seem to have lost the ability to select multiple emails for deletion. Secondly, when replying to text messages, windows used to mark the prior incoming message as read, now it leaves it unread. I have to navigate through each msg using the touchflo in order to mark them read. Any assistance regarding these matters would be appreciated. Thank you.

I would be more than happy to assist you with this information. To select multiple emails on you device, go to your email inbox and tap Menu> Select Messages. You will have three options: All, All Below, and Several. All will select all you your messages. With All Below, you will select a message and all items below it will be selected. You can use several to pick and choose messages. As for the text messages, this feature was added with the update to ensure that you do not miss any of your messages. You phone is operating as intended.

Sorry for the yelling. I saw this when I tried to select multiple messages and I thought I had put a registry hack or something in the previous ROM. They MADE it LESS useful?

i dont believe that.. i think they realized the mistake after the fact and making a stupid cover up story.. thats what made me go back to stock rom.. i dont have time to go in and out 49 times for A DAM TEXT. screw that... htc/microsoft FIX THIS PLEASE lol

really i never had that problem
i just received a tp from insurance today. how can i tell if my tp is running this rom?
it does appear to be running the latest sprint radio.

If it is running the latest radio, it is also running this ROM. Stock ROM and stock radio are installed as a single upgrade.

Had the same problem.
After update, WMDC just shows red X.
Tried uninstalling WMDC, no joy.
Any suggestions?
I just received a new Touch Pro as a replacement, and it is running this new ROM update. The only problem im having is that Opera does not show up on the task manager at all. So when i close(minimize) it i have to reopen from the start menu or touchflo and then when it opens my tabs are still open. Anyone else having this problem? Anyone have a fix or idea?

Using a Hero on orange UK (last official update and all fine), a website forums that i am an admin on is not possible to use on my phone? the site is shipais.com. The ais part of the site works fine but when i click on the forums link it tells me i am not permitted to use this board? thing is tho that when i use Opera its fine and when i use wifi its fine too, its only an issue when using 3G
I have tried a lot of option changes in the browser settings but still no luck, cant even view the forum as a guest? just the same error screen as above with a log in option, i input my username and password and the same error comes up!
Some other members on the site also use android but dont have this issue, i thought it might be an issue with orange and the apn but why if opera is working ok? I use some other forums that require a login and they work ok.
I realise this might be some one off quirk specific to the site but hope someone can shed some light on it
Yes I did a search bot ways and even looked though the threads that came up when i was posting. I get the feeling new posts are not realy accepted here so If I need to look on another board just let me know.
I am still trying to get my Bluetooth to work between my Alienware M11xR1 and my AT&T SGSII.
All drivers install but the last two for Bluetooth do not work and come up red and INOP.
I have installed the latests drivers for both but no luck. It will only work using the Laptop as a Bluetooth headphone/micro Phone device. No file transfers or any data. Kies will not work either.
Has anyone else been through this?
The goal is full data sync and file tranfers Via Bluetooth

I've been trying to pair my phone to my computer too but failed. I've searched and it seems like samsung did not put out any BT drivers out for out phones. My computer and phone can see each other but was never able to pair up.
