I'm seriously starting to think that I'm like the only under 18 xda user in the UK lol. Everywhere I go no1 has heard of them. I got stopped in burger king by someone who works there who wanted me to show her wat it is etc etc.
Are they really that rare?
I brought my xda in May...when I was 15. I'm now 16 and thinking about buying a xda 2 after xmas. Also the xda was my first mobile phone lol
Anyone else who has an xda who is under 18 or roughly them kinda figures?
Im am and not to worry Im 17 love the little bugger shame its a xmas present not really worried about the XDA2 seems to flashy to me and XDA is a tried and tested format now

i had my xda when i was 16 im 17 now but ive had 2 xda's so far...
xda32mb was 1st one i had everything for it... i sold it and got a 3650 as i needed bluetooth but then that phone was crap so i got the 64mb xda.
now ive sold that im going to be getting xda 2 very soon
Im fourteen and own an SX56. I love the thing. I bring it to school everyday. The teachers put up with it because it keeps me organized :wink: . Plus mines a nonbranded beta tester for att wireless. It's a one of a kind... sorta.

I got one. I hadn't heard about all of those devs getting them tho.....that's awesome. I hope we can get some real mods happening on webOS now. I'm hoping viperboy is still going to get a Transformer tho, then he will be deving on all 3 of my devices.
I'm also hoping google is looking into buying webOS. Could you imagine how sick it would be to have cards and widgets on the same homescreens? Also to have the functionality of Android with the sleekness and eye candy of webOS.

That would be awesome but I'm sure if google buys them they wouldn't support webos just integrate it to android and I'm sure the android devs who bought it so they can dev for it once android gets ported to it i doubt they will dev for webos. Anyways you can follow people on twitter if you have one thats were i got all my info!

Got one here, it's pretty nice considering the lack of apps. Hope they can port honeycomb on this beast.

I tried my hardest to get one..what a good buy..and the reviews on it seemed positive...they sold out quick and I couldn't get one ..ppl were buying 4-5 of them...I wish I found out earlier on Saturday
Yeah me too, haven't been able to get one.
I got one, gingerbread is more realistic at this point honeycomb isn't open source yet so it will be way harder to get working if it does happen.
But I am up for it, I would rather see the dalvik ported so I can still run webOS

When did you find out about the sale...bc i didn't find out.till Saturday night and it was too late..I'm so disappointed bc even if android never gets ported it will be worth every penny..**** I doubt they.could.produce them for that much..you guys are lucky..I.saw a few POP up on Craigslist for like 150+

I got a 250GB Xbox for $200. They ram out of the holiday bundles and these ones were supposed to ring up at $299. I guess I got lucky. I'm thinking about getting a Kinect. Not really sure if I want one though.

With the Xoom 2 coming out around holidays the Xoom 1 should see a huge price drop. I'm going to try to score one they should be between 199.99-250.00. What made me laugh the most about black Friday is apple supposedly thinks they're actually participating by knocking off only 100 bucks off computers. I bought my MacBook pro in June for like 1400 bucks; yeah a 100 bucks off is really a deal :rolls eyes:

Bahaha, thanks! The price was the biggest reason I chose the Photon over the EpicTouch. Coulda got the ET with a free BluRay player from BestBuy too lol, but I was like, dude I live in a trailer in the boonies with no TV so what am I gonna do with a bluray player???
I could use that signal boost everyone is bragging about too. I'm gonna save up and get the dock too.
My GF has an epic touch 4G and its trash. The radio is **** and the phone isn't that impressive. God I hate Samsung phones...
Coming from the Epic I'm inclined to agree with you. I don't think it's all bad, but the lack of Samsung support coupled with having to search for developer apps and roms to fix problems affecting basic operations is a big turndown. The only saving-grace it had over the Photon was the damn keyboard, but that didn't even hold me back anymore after I saw what un-impressive features GB brought to it. They didn't even bother fixing problems we've had since EB13 and we're on EI22 now...!
I got lucky as hell today. Went into bestbuy around noon today to pick up a nook tablet and found that $250 Asus tablet instead. Last one they had and it was buried under a couple nooks. Lol what luck. Wanted one of these for a while now
It has been an amazing experience for me here since December 2010. About two months back I saw an ad for Samsung focus with super amoled at eBay.in at about rs.13000. Just could not resist and bought one.
As the super amoleds in android were price higher than rs.20000, I gave in to this deal. Mango 7.5 was also expected to come to this phone. I received my Samsung focus on 23 rd September. MS released mango on 27th September. Updated right away.
Mango with Samsung focus is truelly awesome. OS and screen are super sensitive. Facebook integration is awesome. Zune, email, office..mango has them all. Only thing missing me is any equalizers.
Sold my optimus one and Samsung spica 4 weeks back.
Was missing android a little bit. Came across a good deal of HTC flyer tablet on koovs.com. Bought one. Quite enjoying my flyer and focus.
Thanks to Mik, Andy, Francisco, Ciaox and others. They made my last year enjoyable. Maybe, I will come across many of O1 people on other threads as they will also continue to move on.

Sold it for rs.5700 at a local shop. I had bought it in December 2010 for rs. 12000. But now its easily available for rs.7700. By law of logic, after every year prices are getting halved for each devices, as companies look forward to come up with new devices and phase out the old ones. Whatever we are buying today in this tech world, will be available for half after a year. Flyer was launched for rs.36000 about eight months back. ( 32 gb, WiFi + 3g ). Bought it for rs. 20000 from koovs.com a week back.

My wife and I went into the ATT store in our neighborhood Saturday for her to pick between a SGS4 and a One, and see if we could get her an early upgrade. She's not due for an early upgrade until July and her Samsung Infuse is not performing well anymore and we wanted to take advantage of their trade-in offer. After waiting for about half an hour and haggling with a sales associate and the manager, the were not convinced and we left empty handed. A co-worker put me up to calling customer service and after explaining the situation and our in-store experience and a brief hold, the rep came back with some awesome news! She was approved to not only let my wife have the early upgrade, but a FREE upgrade to the black 64GB! And just to sweeten the deal, she threw in free overnight shipping!!! We're expecting it to arrive tomorrow. I think i'll keep the black one and let her have my silver 64GB.
All of those TMOUS and VZ subscribers who say ATT has terrible customer service have no idea. I have been with ATT since 2006 and have never needed to call customer service. This is not bad for a first experience!

Thats the funny thing because i didnt even tell her we were treated poorly in the store, but i think thats how she interpreted it. All i said was that my wife's phone is i sad shape and the store would not honor an early upgrade.

U just got very lucky. That one experience does not mean all of ATT is that way. Believe me you can call with the same question 5 times and get 5 different answers..been there A LOT with ATT. Go to vegas soon my friend, before your luck runs out

I got the same treatment. I called told them why I needed an early upgrade 30 mins later I got my confirmation email with shipping info.
Att has been great to me.

I simple told the Rep that I need my upgrade 2 months early because my current phone wasn't working for me anymore. she understood my problem and said retention department could help me. Five mins later she came back and said since I was nice and in good standing that she could approve my upgrade and wave my upgrade fee. I need a larger screen due to losing most of my eye sight in an accident she said the only draw back was I'd have to pay for whatever phone I wanted right then . So I told thanks and then spoke with her supervisor letting him know how great she was. Being very decent is the key even if you need to speak to a supervisor ask nicely and erasure the Rep that you understand that she help as much as they could. So I paid for my phone and they shipped it out ocernight. Be patient be pleasant they get ****tiy people calling all the time so it helps to be nice.

Co-worker got a similar deal. His problem was that the online system would cancel his order immediately after completing it. It happened twice. He called not to complain, but simply to order the phone and got it free with free overnight shipping. His account was eligible for an upgrade, though.
The store manager has the power to give u an early upgrade within 30 days of the eligible date. Its funny BC some managers will say well it has to be in the same calendar month or ah it's gotta be within 14 days. U got lucky!

Hello. I already have the G2 for 6 months and I feel like trying also the BB Z30 as second phone. Anyone have experience with Z30 ? I am so used with android so I don't know how I will cope with BB10. How is the z30 system? what are the pros and cons compared with G2 ?
