Yesterday i changed my sim card to pre paid one , and phone doesynt want to turn on (xda working fine , i just cant switch from flight mode to normal phone) .. any solutions? help? i need my phone works !

The sim card i owned before was same network as pre paid i putted in...

Shhh... bad XDA baaad!
Baterry was charged to about 70% when i changed sim card , and phone doesynt turn on to normal mode, when i put XDA to charger and make it 100% charged it normally switches to phone mode .... it suxx that u cant switch off gsm when u got 70% battery cause u never will be able to back to normal gsm mode untill u charge XDA fully....

After 5 months cool job my phone 2.3.3 GT-I9100 SGS2 running India distribution unlocked. Not rooted start showing constantly an icon of a plain as it was in flight mode and if you go to settings it shows that the flight mode is off. Also it is not recognising any SIM. Currently I am in UK.
Any help or advice?

Open up your phone, take out the battery, take out the sim, clean the sim contacts with a dry lint free cloth (aka something that wont end up putting fibres all over it), put the phone back together and reboot.
If that doesnt work, maybe your phone company has disallowed you from roaming outside the country and you need to call them to enable it.
Edit: are you using your Indian sim or a UK sim?
Just to clariy ... this problem isn't suddenly when your in the UK... As you state 'running India distribution unlocked' but your now in the UK

No it is perfectly worked in UK as well but suddenly after night charging became in plane mode.and really what ever I tried not helping
Backup data then factory reset phone .
Check your IMEI is correct .

Check
Settings > About phone
See if your baseband is there, should be something like I9100<numbercode>
Check Settings > about phone > status
See if your IMEI is there.
If IMEI is not there, your EFS has toasted itself and i hope you have a backup
If your baseband is not there flash a new baseband and it should fix itself.
Hi (sorry for my english)... I bough HTC Amaze in USA everythings fine now im back home in slovakia for 5 months everything was okay till now... i was listening music than i heard some stupid sound my phone turned off then on and i didnt had any signal... only X next to signal bar...i cant call cant anything ... i dont have any numbers anything.... i tried to reboot...nothing.. when im trying to call it says out of service area.... everything was okay for almost 1 year and couple months... btw before my phone sometimes restart by itself... what should i do?
is your phone rooted? and are you running a custom rom? and the phone isn't receiving signal at all? if your contacts are missing then your google account probably got removed from the phone..
my phone is like from shop... android 4.0.3.. thats all.. no signal at all.. its like i dont have simcard in...but i do!
can you get your phone online via wifi? and maybe the simcard somehow got damaged? i would suggest trying a different one or something..
Sim card is okay i used it on other phone and everything is okay... idk if i can connect via wifi i will try nad write but let say that yeah i can connect and nothing changed...
Does it still show an IMEI number?

Phone is from T-mobile but its unlocked and i have O2 company now.... and no i cant see on screen any company..is empty...like signal bar only when im turning phone ON there is tmobile 4G intro ... thats all
I guess you already tried this but just in case...
Turn phone off remove batt and sim card. wipe the simcard contacts with a pencil eraser and after 10 or so minutes install sim again and turn on.
I remember reading about something similar hapening to somebody here a few weeks ago (I wish I remember who and how he solved it, but I think he just removed and re installed the sim)

My phone is HTC EVO 3d gsm(s-off)..
From the 5-6 days I faced a network problem. Always my network singnals are full but sometime singnal are gone , to get Signals back I do :-
1. I go airplane mode and back to normal mode ..
2. Airplane mode Sometimes never solve the problem my phone shows no SIM card than ,I restart the phone to get signals back..
3. Sometime after restart phone does not show any SIM card than I remove the SIM card and again put the SIM card to get back signals.
Actually I never understand why this happens.. I tried different roms like (rootbox, sensai , viper 3d) but face same problem ,so I think it is not Rom problem..
Edit:- now on cm10.1 and after checking /testing of 5 hours never see any signal problem...
Plz.. help to find the problem and to solve them!!!!!!

So I rooted my 900T FOL last night with cf_autorotate for foj, it worked fine, everything was awesome. Around noon today I get a 'sim not inserted' error. I flashed a stock firm, still nothinf. I put in another tmobile working sim, same thing so it's gotta be a software issue. I use this phone for a lot of shyt so I need it working...any help would be greatly appreciated.Oh, I just noticed something weird as hell..the minuts I put in the sim, my phone won't charge when it's off, nor will it turn on if it's plugged in, i have the unplug it and pull the batteryear than it will turn on... It's the official charger
Might try to Odin the latest firmware with Sim removed..

so just got the phone today and switch it but never inserted the sim but when I did the phone basically crashed but I place it on airplane mode the phone and insert the sim the phone work but once you take it off boom phone breaks tried to flash the phone with the software on their site but still no luck\

Looks like a broken screen only on damaged screens. Go to factory ask for replacement

Yeah I think there may be a correlation between the screen and the Sim card / the antenna. (Not really an expert).
And I agree with DavidxxxD, because I can say for sure this is very uncommon, and the manufacturer will surely replace it as it isn't unusable.
