Orange SPV M-1000 - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 ROM Development

Hi,
Rom= 1.60.00WWE
Date 12/03/03
Radio 1.10
Protocol 1337.18
Ext Rom 1.60.38
I have problems where I have paired a Logitech Bluetooth Headset (very good noise cancelling feature) and a TOMTOM3 bluetooth GPS device and quite often the logitech headset and GPS device loose their pairing and I get a message on the device asking that the following devices want to create a bond etc. The devices are in the paired list still.
I did not have this problem with the XDA2 which does have a newer Ext Rom of 1.60.50
Will the Ext Rom have made a difference to the bluetooth stability?

Pioneer DEH-P70BT works on BA

Hello all,
I could not BELIEVE the Compatibility list of Bluetooth Mobile phones for the Pioneer DEH-P70BT. So I had to go try it myself in the car audio shop.
After some fiddling around, it DOES work ! ! !
A few glitches, bluetooth does not automaticly re-connect when you step in the car. You need to use the radio to create the connection every time. No so bad even, just 4 presses on a few buttons on the radio and you're ready.
Some other things I haven't tried: Phonebook transfer, voice dial and signal strength probably do not work.
This is my BA:
Model: PH20B
ROM version: 1.40.00 WWE
ROM date: 03/10/05
Radio version: 1.13.00
Protocol version: 1337.42
ExtROM version: 1.40.556 WWE[/url]
I have exactly the same problem. But not only with XdaIIs, the same with my Motorola V3.
Last time I survived hard reset, after trying to reconect my XdaIIs to DEH-P70BT.
Thx god I had BackUp on my Laptop.
Now I think to upgrade it to WM5.
8125 bluetooth compatibility for pioneer p-6800 head unit ???
My phone is a HTC 8125 on T-mobile service and it recognizes the the radio's bluetooth but the radio "doesn't" recognize the phone.
I've tested my other phones (nokia and samsung flip phones) and they worked just fine and the clarity was better than a bluetooth headset (in my opinion)
I would like to know if there is a program or adapter I could use to make the 8125 bluetooth version compatible with the pioneer bluetooth version ????
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated!! ;o )

BT Car Stereo
Hi,
I tried DEHP70BT but had problems. Now i'm using VR500CS-BT from Virtual Reality Sound Labs. It works great. Auto reconect works and even has A2DP profile so u can play music from BT PDA via car stereo. About $150.
I use DEH-P65BT and it work well on my BA & SEK800i, Auto Reconect & play music from BT PDA via car stereo
dhid1422, what bluetooth stack & rom are you running on your Blueangel?

Can´t connect with my BT headsets

Hi there.
I have two motorola bluetooth headsets (HS801, HS820) but i can't get them paired with my XDAIIi.I also have a bluetooth GPS receiver and no problem!
My XDA doesn´t "find" any of the headsets. Can anyone tell me what might be the problem? Old Radio ROM? My specs are:
ROM 2.06.00WWE
Radio: 1.18.00
Protocol version: 1337.38
Thanks a lot!

I know this is a dumb question, but are you following the recommended method of pairing? On my Plantronics M3000 you hold down the main button until the PPC advises that a code is needed (0000) and then the sucker pairs.
Mine pairs, but when it suspends, does what many others complain about ... BT turns off ... and when it resumes it doesn't recognise the the BT earpiece.
I am sure it is our ROM, but whether it is Microsoft's implementation or something else is something I'd also like to know. My notebook automatically recognises the XDA II via BT after it resumes, so I am wondering if part of the problem is the BT earpiece itself. :?
thanks stewarta. solved the problem. The pairing between the pda and the BT headsets it's different from my cell phone and the headsets. With the PDA you have to press continuously the volume buttom and the PDA "finds" the headset. No need to do this with my cell phone. thanks again.

Bluetooth connection lost on random time intervals

Hello,
I am using my Blue Angel with a Nokia BH-700 Bluetooth headset.
During random time intervals (once a day, or every hour) although the Qtek bluetooth indicator flashes the connection with the headset is lost.
I had the same problem with an old Erickson headset also.
It is very annoying because when an incoming call is coming your head set is sometimes disconnected and you have to reconnect it and answer the call.
Is anyone else having the same problem?
Thank you.
My Qtek 9090 Specs:
Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition
Version 4.21.1088 (Build 15045.2.6.0)
ROM version: 1.40.00 WWE
ROM date: 03/10/05
Radio version: 1.15.00
Protocol version: 1337.45
ExtROM version: 1.40.148 WWE
Bluetooth for Windows CE
BT-PPC/PE Version 1.0.0 Build 3900
Guys I have a problem with my bluetooth and my dopod. It connects then disconnects.
I have also noticed that the systems unchecks the "turn on bluetooth" check box and the "make this device discoverable to other devices"
Does anyone have any ideas? I am using Windows Mobile 5 and a Parrot 3100
Guys I just read this at another forum.
"The Dopod 838 pro and WM5 have chronic problems with the bluetooth stack, which is why everyone is waiting for the new ROM to appear, which will hopefully be WM6. HTC (manufacturers of Dopod 838 pro) announced that the new ROM will fix all of the known problems"
This I learn after having a car accident (minor) in my car playing with the bluetooth and trying to get it to work. Hutchison 3g should only be selling these with a warning.
I assume there is also a problem with the JasJam as they are the same phon

Qtek 2020 rom upgrade and bluetooth

Originally, my qtek 2020 had the WM2003 and I was using a SBS BF400 bluetooth hand-free headset and everything was ok.
This headset uses the 1.2 bluetooth protocol.
When I made the upgrade to WM2005, when using the headset, this was constantly connected (and not in standby) draining down the battery in less than 2 hours.
I downgraded the ROM to WM2003 SE (WindowsMobile2003SE_XDA2_2.06 from buzzdev) and this headset works perfectly.
I am wondering if this ca be a problem of bluetooth protocol: which bluetooth version WM2005 uses? Could it be V2.0 o V2.1? Theorically, it should be compatible with V1.2....
Coulf you enligthened me???
Thanks
software cant change bluetooth versions to support bluetooth 2 the hardware needs to support it
So you are telling me that this should not be a protocol problem as it is working with WM2003 and WM2003SE.
Could it be with the bluetooth stack (widcomm or microsoft)?
could be a thing about the implemetation of the stack yes

[Q] Bluetooth headset won't work after ROM upgrade

Upgraded ROM yesterday to 1.66.405.2 (76641) WWE tried using my Nokia BH-105 headset, like i have for the past 10 months, but it won't even find it when trying to pair devices.
Any ideas???
Will i need a new headset???
Cheers
Have you put your headset in pairing mode?
Can you test with another bluetooth device (laptop eg), can that device find the headset (when put in pairing mode)?
